This was a very obnoxious Summer as far as those miserably expensive and demanding hunks of metal, glass, and plastic goes. Fingers crossed that we're finally over the worst of it and can get back to some semblance of normal rather than paying so very much more on top of everything else.

But I have come to the very solid conclusion that I hate cars.

Today I said goodbye and left my daughter at her college dorm room.

I'm so proud of her... but I'm going to miss her a lot.

Just a heads-up that we are once again planning to meet in Marsalas "A". This is the large conference room on the lower level next to the Dealer's Den, labeled as "Video Games and Laser Tag" in the guidebook.

I'm 47 today, wheee!

Every Spring seems to be a challenge for me... honestly, I hate it. Things are finally settling down now and hopefully I can get back in the swing of things.

As we round into fall once more, we start to look forward to the next Yingmeet!

So far, I'm planning to host  shard_of_confusion again, and hopefully  hanmonster

Taking some lessons learned from last year, I'm not going to stretch myself quite so thin again, but I will be providing notebooks and pencils to Yinglets and Friends who come by. I do also plan on another run of buttons and bags.

With the start of school and the holiday weekend, I am a little behind on the next page. I'm hoping to get back to my one a week schedule this Sunday.

It's been a long drought for me, but I'm back at last.

 ShardofConfusion is an artist and creator of the web comic Chasing Bolide, found HERE.

To date, Shard has been doing all of his art for free. Shard is a Navy veteran and has been living modestly on his disability pay from Veterans Affairs. Shard has been using art as a means of self therapy. Due to a recent turn of events with the V.A. reducing his disability pay, Shard is now having to seek out alternative methods for supplementing his reduced income.

Over the years, Shard’s art has improved considerably, to the point where he is proficient enough to be able to take commissions for his work. That being said, Shard continues to use the same outdated equipment as he did when he first started. Shard of Confusion has been unable to take any commissions for his art to date, due to concerns that his outdated equipment is vulnerable to a data security breach.

This campaign is to raise the funds to purchase a respectable machine for Shard of Confusion to not only be able to go professional as an artist and conduct business without a reasonable fear of a data breach, but also to be proactive in replacing his current equipment before it finally gives up the spirit and gives the blue screen of death.

After all the build up and preparation, TFF is finally over.

It was quite simply amazing and an experience I will never ever forget. I loved meeting so many people, and now I just have to get a fursuit somehow #underdressed. Next Con is likely to be MFF at the end of November, so there's time...

In other news, my family will be in Frankfurt (Germany) from June 2 - 16 with a rail pass and wander around a bit.
