Had a great time at FC2011 as I expected, seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Even  RexKitsune had a great time. :P Shout outs to  Seraph and  kalimar for being awesome roomies.  tristwolf and  spiketxtyger for being awesome TX peeps.  touchmybadger  mallin  mrlean and the rest of the sacfurs crew.  Tyco  Shiuk  cth  fuzzypaws  Grecko  gamercoon  nevadafurry for being awesome people. There's a bunch more of you who made my con awesome, you know who you are. But the interesting thing about this FC is my lack of PCD. I had such a great time that i feel content, and that I made the most of it. Had lots of fun, met new people, and hopefully helped make some others enjoy their con experience. I'm sure some of you might have noticed a lack of new art featuring my character being posted on a regular basis. I was talking this over with a friend and I realized that I've had such bad experiences with the last few commissions I've purchased, that I no longer have the desire to get new art as much as I did in fear of having my money stolen again. As of right now, I'm waiting on 5 separate commissions from 4 different artists. And while 2 of them I told the artist they could hold off on doing them for a while, the others were purchased LONG before those 2, January, February and April to be specific. I'm sure plenty of you have had the same or worse happen, it's just upsetting when I could use the $150+ I payed these artists for something a bit more important. And I know two of the other three artists will get around to it, it's just very....ugh. So, sorry to the people who watched me for art, granted my character is boring and you're dumb for liking him anyways.

As I work my way through what is always the most difficult time of the year for me, I couldn't help stopping and thinking about how much has changed since this same week last year. Back then I was talking to different people, ignored by others and hated living here and had little intention of getting to know any more of the locals. Several of those I was talking with last year don't talk to me any more, and I've made new friends, making me realize that this place isn't so bad. It's interesting how everything changes so much, because if someone told me this is where I would end up, I wouldn't believe them. A very special rabbit, one who's experience is priceless, told me some very important words long ago:

"Time is like a river, with an ever changing current. Life changes, people coming and going is just a part of that."

So here I am, doing my best to make it through the week without incident, doing all that I can to make things easier, something I wouldn't be able to do if it wasn't for my friends. So, if you are my friend, I owe you thanks, both friends of the past and present. Because if we were considered friends at one point in time, then there are plesant memories, and those are something I will always cherish.

Don't know when it happened but uh....ok. You guys are weird, there's nothing worth looking at here unless you like rabbits.... seriously D:

Texas Furry Fiesta was pretty slow for the mostpart. I understand that it's only in its second year, and it beat a bunch of records, but coming from FC the month prior, it honestly felt like it was an oversized meet. And while that's not a bad thing, I heard the same thing repeated by others. In a few years, it will be better, but if the number of attendies continues to grow at this rate, the really need to add more events and stuff. Was awesome meeting all of my irc friends, and relaxing. Hope next year will be even better.

Left FC10 after checking out at noon and chilling in the lobby for about an hour. Got to say goodbye to a lot of people, but not everyone I wanted to. Overall, it was amazing, did everything I wanted, had an incredible rooming experience, and just a great time. Also, heads up on the impending art flood. I went kinda crazy this year. c.c

Fortunately I have tomorrow off to try and recover, then Wednesday it's back to the grind. Fun times, fun times.

Woke up Saturday a little bit early to go down and get my remaining commission from  Cooner and picked up my new collar only to find out that the leather makers made a matching leash to go with it. Caved in and got two little things from  Touchmybadger and  Pulsifer and two ink commissions from  Shiuk but sadly my amazing commission from  chaosmine won't be done until next week, but it'll be worth it for sure! Also snagged $1  Gideon Badges for  Ten,  Dhaiul,  Horrorshow,  Khoi because I have to bring something back for them.

Finally left the dealer's room to attend the panel on rabbits. I typically don't attend panels, but this one was fun and I got to see some adorable real bunnies too. Spent most of the day just wandering around at that point, stopping by the game room and playing people in random things, and just running into people along the way and chilling in the lobby. Was nice just relaxing there, it was an awesome sitting area. Met up with  Mallin and placed two bids on a couple of  DariaMcgrain pictures. A little bit after, ran into  ghouly and  herraardy and had some of the free deserts offered at the hotel along with some of the other Sacfurs. I eventually split off from them, not wanting to attend the fursuit masquerade because of a headache but I got some undies from  X_Panther, so it evened out.

Ended up joining the Blazblue tournament at the last second thanks to :wolfpupTK: giving up his spot for me. Needless to say, Ghouly and I couldn't perform on those worn-out PS3 pads, but not much you can do I suppose. Afterwards, went back to the hotel and got my party outfit on and headed up to the Klingon and Communist parties that had just gotten underway. Had a Borg Virus but didn't get anything else since I had already did a little drinking at my own room and I was gonna go out. Left the party floor and waited in the lobby for the Sacfurs meet to the nearby Chicago pizza place, which, just like last time, was amazing. Didn't get back until really late, late enough that the party floor was being closed down, which is the stupidest thing ever.

Fortunately, that's where the Nevada furs down the hall from my room saved the night. Biiiiig shout-out to the furs in that room, especially the bartender. Got totally smashed after a long list of drinks, headed back to my room for a little bit and escorted  Ka back to his room in the second tower. Thank goodness  Seraph was there to corral us, also decided to take my bunny plushie along for the adventure. Dropped him off at his room after waiting for his roomie to show and then decided to go and find out if I won those art show items. I didn't, someone outbid me by $10 on each one, oh well. Made it back to my room and then back to the party, eventually coming back, all of us in our room and chatting drunk, only to finally pass out. Somewhere in there, I changed out of my shirt and fishnet, and into another shirt, but I honestly can't remember when that happened. o.o

Next morning woke up with a headache, but that's about it, but that was ok since I didn't have any plans for day three other than take it easy. Picked up my two sketches from Shiuk and my badge from TouchMyBadger and my leash and decided to come back to the room and find Ghouly and Aardy cleaning everything up as they were leaving that afternoon. Manage to convince Ghouly into taking me to Sunnyvalle Golfland for some DJ Max Technika and Blazblue Continum Shift and then to In N Out Burger <3<3<3 Had to say goodbye to the couple and their friend  palshife and part ways. Came up to the room and cleaned up, finding out I lost my debit card and having to cancel it. A pain in the ass, but nothing big. Eventually Seraph and  Havoklee had to leave, so that leaves me the room all to myself tonight, a nice, relaxing way to end an amazing con.

Uh, lets see....started out with me waking up hella early at 8 (hey it's early for me) to find  ghouly already awake and  HerrAardy still snoozin'. Showered and headed out. Went down to the game room, played some mahvel (CURLEH MUSTACHE), and then got in line for the dealers' den. Was number 9 in line, spent some of the time waiting talking to  raxmei and eventually managed to lasso  Gletscher and  Signettheroo into the group, with a cameo from  MrLean and then made a mad dash in when the doors opened.

First on the list was  Shinigamigirl, who I promised here on FA that I'd get something from. After that, made my way through the swarm, ran into  Rush120 (who's sister  millislim has some AMAZING skills and even gave me a cute lil bunny boi doodle) eventually wandering past  Sidian and convincing her to do a commission. Needless to say, came out amazing. Picked up the new book, Seeing Spots, simply because my bro  Horrorshow did the art, along the way getting attention from all 11 of my badges,  Ten's certainly helping out with that. So then, that means I needed an impulse buy, that's where  Meesh comes in.

As time went by,  Havoklee and  Seraph arrived and I showed them to our room, marked by Aardy's kickass doorart. Got them situated and sent in the direction of registration and then went back to the den to pick up up my commission from Synroth and found time to chill at the Sacfur's table, doubling as  Touchmybadger and  Pulsifer's assistant only after running into  Taurath in the hallway. Payed a visit to  Dook's table and even got some more commissions on the way, 4 more to be precise and from different artists, but those won't be done until tomorrow.

Got some dinner at the nearby diner, saying sup to others along the way and wandered around some more. Ended up spending a good deal of time chilln' with  Shiuk, watching him work on this amazing sketch commission, occasionally trying my luck at being a helpful folf and giving him some minor ideas. *giggle* And that pretty much concludes the day after some slight drinking, a visit to the party floor,, dance floor and some chill time in the lobby. Fun times. Still on the lookout for a few others, and I'll be a sad folf if I don't get to see them. :<
