Oh hi there, didn't see you there. It's been a while, how has everybody been?

I hope you are all doing alright while countries still go in and out of lockdown all the damn time. Please hang in there everyone!

I have been on hiatus for a while and only recently started doodling a little again. The whole drama with trying to move to Australia to be with my fiancé is finally over. He actually landed in Europe on the 21st of November last year and we have been living together ever since, being yanked about by the system here and there, but we are extremely happy overall.

My fiancé has a very good job here and I am quitting my job soon to go back to school and study to become a vet nurse.

For now I might post little doodles and drawings every now and then, not quite ready to get back into doing commissions yet.

I apologise for the lack of art lately. I haven't been doing well emotionally, I am currently still unable to move out and join my fiancé and my dog in Australia and in the meantime, my visa expiry date is coming closer and closer.
This particular visa cost me over €5k, for which I've had to borrow a lot of money from my family and looking forward to having to drop another 5k is not a fun prospect.
Plus I haven't seen my dog in about half a year now, which makes me very sad. Sure, it was my own choice, but I never thought I'd have to wait this long...
Long story short, my mental and emotional health has been in decline, because I am currently more or less in limbo and very stressed about whether I'll be able to make it there before my visa expires. Unfortunately, I am also not eligible for an extension for the people who'll suggest that. Just wanted to let everybody know what's up.

Anyway, enjoy your day today, hopefully with some family and friends, and everybody give your pets a big cuddle today as well!!

Happy New Year's to everyone! I wish each and every on of you a healthy and happy 2021!

I have got some big news just the day before christmas. As some of you may know, I have been preparing for a good two years now to migrate to Australia and marry my sweetheart.
My visa has finally been approved and I am cleared to fly to Australia in two months!! I'll be leaving on my birthday (March 1st) and I have a lot of stuff I have to arrange before that and prepare for my departure. I am excited and completely stressed out at the same time, but it will be an amazing next step in my adventure that is life.

I will keep you all updated as time goes on, but these upcoming months will be quite tumultuous for sure.

Digital commissions are being discontinued for the time being while I save up for a new pen tablet. I've disabled the commission inquiry form on my website for now as well.

I am considering opening traditional PWYW (Pay What You Want) commissions in the future to help raise money.

Other than that, there's nothing new. Stay safe everybody!

Commission completion times may be a bit slower than usual, since I have a job that's considered essential (Healthcare at home) and I am often fatigued.

Been sick:

I have been ill with a bad case of the flu over the holidays, and am currently still recovering. I am tired most of the time, but nothing I cannot deal with.

Art block:

Yes, this is still a thing. I don't know what is causing it still, I have been trying to draw a little, but it has only been me fiddling with my new markers. I cannot seem to focus on digital art for longer than 5 minutes.

Commissions:

I do still want to take on commissions. One at a time, so I don't get overwhelmed. Traditional ones would be fine too, but I'd have to figure out the pricing and I'm not sure if I'm good enough at it yet.

Relationship got stranded, I lost my job, found a new place to live, became a foster family for dogs, haven't really drawn in months.

Am dealing with it all but it's hard sometimes. Life's come to a grinding halt, but luckily I've got my family here to help. I'm also not asking for pity or anything, just giving an update for those interested. It happens in life sometimes, we've all had our stuff to deal with.

Anyway, I cannot cope with things anymore right now, so I have decided to completely stop doing commissions for as long as I need to recover and get my stuff together.
Those who have already paid, I'll finish your stuff as soon as I can or you can message me to request a refund.
Those who have not paid yet, I am sorry, but I will not be doing your commission at this time.
I need to sort a lot of things out right now and my mind is plenty occupied. I am still trying to keep up with my comic, but that will also go in chunks now. I'm trying to consistently post on Patreon for the time being for sure.

Hi all you guys and girls and other people,

I wanted to write a quick status update, because I need to go to work soon and I just wanted to let you all know what's up.

So first and foremost, my fiancé has gone into basic training for the army now so that means two and a half months of total radio silence. No calls, no texts, nothing, just letters, and I have been writing to him every day, eventhough I don't even know yet where to send my letters to.

Secondly, I won't be doing any special things for Valentines or Easter or anything like that this year. I am way too busy catching up with my commissions (this is the reason that I do NOT want to get paid up front...) and finding a balance in managing my own household, taking care of my dog, working my day job at Domino's and doing art. It feels like juggling with too many balls to me right now and kinda failing...

Despite all the trouble with the internet and the like, I still had an amazing time in the States. Probably the best 3 or so months of my life thus far. I am very sorry to the people who commissioned me and those who were following my comic series for kinda getting stuck in the middle of it, but as my jetlag fades and I am starting to get back into things here as well, it is those things that I will be picking up on again soon.

Firstly though, I am trying to get back into my working rhythm, also because my schedule has been changed and I work different shifts now, which is kinda annoying. Also, I am busy moving into a new place of my own for the time being until I permanently move to the States. And getting back into all that after having been away for so long takes me a little time to get used to...

Other than that, my fiancé is gonna ship out to boot camp for basic military training on the 29th of this month, so him and I are spending as much time as we can together for now, because we won't see each other until after about 2 and a half months. I still feel that he is the best and the bravest man I could've ever met in my life and I am really proud and happy that I will be able to call him my husband very soon!!

For now, I wish you all a very relaxed weekend and I hope to be back with more content and more comics in the near future!

Hey everybody, I am sorry that I have been relatively quiet for the last few weeks. We have been very busy moving again. We live in a much more decent house right now, and although we do have others living in the same house, a couple who fight a lot and are really loud, at least we no longer have bugs eating us up at night anymore. I am also no longer sick in any way anymore so that is great news.

Two things that have come up though:
1. We still dont have a stable internet connection. Reason for this is that the other tenants still owe our land lady, and hence she punishes all of us. Great...

2. My fiance suddenly up and decided to join the army to secure our future here and make sure that we will have a better life. Of course I have been freaking out over this for a long time, but he is really intelligent, so the army want to keep him alive and well for his brains, so he will become a paralegal expert and wont be sent to the front lines to fight. Still I do worry cause he will still be a soldier so if war does break out for some reason, he will still have to fight... and my fiance isnt exactly... sturdy, what with his scoliosis and heart condition he's got.

Anyway, I have updated my workload list again, I have so much left to do now that I am finally healthy again and I am so sorry for all the delays... Hope you guys can forgive me...!!

At least not on my laptop so I can't upload anything, which is also why I haven't posted any comic pages lately. The fact of the matter is that the place where I went to do my uploads, my fiances dads comic book shop, has gone bankrupt, so rip... and at the place we are living, we don't have internet yet. So for now I am posting from my phone, which has an internet plan but cannot serve as a WiFi hotspot unfortunately...

As for commissions, I have no choice but to take a picture of my tablet screen for now and upload that to my dropbox for now to show my commissioners that their thing is finished... and then upload the actual image file when I get connection on my laptop again. So I apologise for the inconvenience this may cause anybody and thank you for your patience!!

EDIT: Work-around is no longer viable... gotta wait for us to get an actual internet connection at the house. Until then, only commission me if you are VERY patient. The sketches will still be done but will get mass uploaded as soon as we get internet.

We are leaving tomorrow and I will be bringing my laptop and drawing tablet and possibly doing commissions while I am there. You may recognise me by my bright orange Eevee onesie that I'll probably be wearing. And probably sitting in a corner somewhere by outlets cause I need power haha XD

Anyway if anyone is going, we will be there till Sunday! It'd be fun to meet some people!
