The sequel to The Umber Figment, was just this second uploaded to Amazon and is in review by the Kindle people

It can take about 72 hours for them to complete this review, so I will let everybody know once it's available on the Amazon site. Watch this space!

To cut a long story short, I had a 'cardiac event' on the Friday at MFF (outside the ballroom to be precise), and lost a week from work afterwards.

I'm back on my footpaws now, but I am determined to make the most of my time

It just reminded me how short life is and how much more I need to be doing. It has been the scariest few days of my life and I don't wish this upon anyone! Being told you've had a heart attack at 32 for no reason, made the past week a nightmare, and, as you can imagine, my convention was kinda cut short (although my mate and I still had lots of fun. I was determined to, paws damnit!)


To recoup my lost wages, I am opening up for 4 (four) 10,000 word commissions at a flat rate of 0.01$ per word.

Secondly, I am currently writing the sequel (Umber Figment: Faces in the Bark) and was wondering if there was anyone out there willing to read over chunks of the chapters as I churn them out? Perhaps offer some constructive criticism and advice on where the plot is going to go?

I can't offer any monetary compensation, but I was thinking that if you were willing to read over some stuff for me, whether a spot in one of the handful of extended, novella-length stories I have in the wings would be of interest? Possibly in 'Blyth Gwynne' (a story about an obsessed music fan with a dark and mysterious past), 'Wire & Vinegar' (an adult story concerning the cross-culture of wolves and foxes, predominantly straight), or perhaps 'Kum' (an exceptionally naughty concept of a wolf obsessed by scent, led to misdeeds and murder by his addiction).

No guarantees on timescale though, although I hope to have these complete within the next 2 years.

When you're in the zone, you're in the zone!

I started the first chapter of my 9-chapter sequel to The Umber Figment this morning, along with arranging many many many more short story storylines

Being at IndyFurCon this past weekend was so inspiring. Got to meet a heck of a lot of great people. It was so much fun to pad around and just be my furry self. It was awesome!

My aim is to have this sequel finished in draft form by the end of December 2016, ready for a 2017 release. This along with a short story collection of about 20-25 shorts. I'm gearing myself up for a busy end to the year

Next stop Indianapolis!

My mate and I will be there early Saturday thru Sunday, padding around and having fun.
