Are there a lot of broken jaypegs going around as avatars the last few days?

Too much pain and aches and heavy-headedness. I'm just gonna chill out and scribble stuff for myself, game a bit and maybe catch up during my days off next week instead. In the meantime, no comic this weekend. <3 I'll get something figured out for the 4K celebration too, soon :)

Should be done tomorrow, I just have a lot of very complex motions to handle and none of the lines are sitting right today (minor art block). Been learning a lot lately, I guess.

At best, the sale means FA will actually have the capita to get some work done on the site, put it into working order and improve security and functionality. At worst we all go elsewhere because it becomes unusable. Either way, we'll all manage.

I am not directing this at anyone specific, this is merely a general response to me seeing several poorly thought out notes being sent at Meeka. Remember, the comic character is not real. The person behind the character is. Please treat them accordingly. What you do in the privacy of your own home is for you to decide, but out here, we are people of flesh, blood and feels, and Meeka in particular is very special to me.

I've gotta play catch-up on some other stuff, and I'd rather not overwork myself since the result of that tends to be that I stop working, so for the time being, no slots this month. I may have a different treat for y'all though, at some point.

I'm gonna be working on this week's page, but I don't think there's any chance of me putting it out tomorrow, my head's too heavy and I'm having issues getting things to work right as a result.

If by the time I'm ready to handle your reservation you for some reason cannot pay for it, I unfortunately have to skip your slot and take on a new one.

We'll be kicking off the comic again on sunday, and I have an important question! So far I've been shrinking things down quite a bit, because FA only allows a default posting of 1280px in either direction, but I CAN put the pages out at significantly larger sizes. So my question is, would you guys like to see the pages sized up a bit? I'm thinking like.. 1000x1400 roughly.

I feel the need to ask 'cuz I'm not sure what kinda monitors or devices people are reading them on, but on phones and such it shouldn't matter, since you can resize easily.. On the other hand, I have Windows 7 tablet that's only 1280x800, so it'd be a bit more scrolling for smaller monitors.

So by popular demand, I'm opening up for commissions again! Now, since I have a bad habit of killing myself with a work load that is beyond the range of mere humans, I'm gonna be doing this in a very specific way..

I'm sorry that things have gotten a bit pricier, but I do put a lot of effort into my work, and I've made up for some of the extra cost on the "main" type (full color) by having up to two characters included in it. And so we reach the halfway point of the tens, and how far we've come in a mere five years.. Fusion and plasma reactors are becoming technologically viable, more and more of our previously impossible technology is becoming wearable, we have glasses that can project information directly into your eye, VR is becoming a marketable thing, and in the midst of all of this, a tiny little comic has grown up and become something beautiful. I can hardly wait to see where the next five years will take us. I mean you can watch someone work on their art from the other side of the planet, on your phone, while riding the bus, and that's barely two years of progress!

Thank you all for an amazing year. Thank you for pushing me to my limits and beyond, thank you for always making me smile when I look at my pages, and thank you for being the best fans on FA. It's amazing to have a community like you guys, who never push for drama or get into arguments over silly things.

Here's to 2015. May it be as good as the last one, and then some. :)

I think I'll start up the next chapter of the comic on the last weekend of January, so the 1st of February. In the meantime, don't worry, there's tons of stuff I need to get drawn, and I wanna open up commissions again within the next couple weeks too, at least a few slots. I'll need to update my prices a bit, but y'all know me, I like to keep it as affordable as possible.

Work is running me ragged, I've been tired and crankier than usual for the last two weeks, and I've got paid art that needs to get done by monday for a book cover, so I gotta focus on that. Really sorry, I know I've been a little spotty lately.. I'll try and make up for it later.
