update time!
Posted 12 years agoSo, here's the deal, this past week and a half or so I've been preoccupied loading my crippled ps2 with homebrew software so I can still use it to play backups and such, this has kept me busy. Today I had a job interview, a commission to design the labels for a local smoke shop's ecig fluids, and an offer of part time there. This has all been exciting and wonderful but its taken a huge chunk out of my art time. So, as soon as I get all the bits of old computer cleared off of my desk (or at least shuffled to the side) I'll be whipping the tablet right back out to work. You might think that all of this talk of jobs means less time to do art... well this is true. But it DOES mean I will get on a relatively regular schedule and have some extra capital to toss around and specifically get a new tablet, so do not despair! For ANYONE interested in trades, contact me. I don't care about skill level so long as you give it your all. For commissions... well those will be case by case, just don't be shy and ask. Also... tell your friends! I can be contacted through notes, and I always do my best to answer quickly.

Posted 12 years agoYes, yet again I feel a resurgence of need to post my random scribblings. My hand has gone stupid as far as tablet use goes but I'm relearning it every day. in a good-bad-good-bad-good order!
-Tablet pen busted, no digital possible as my mouse work is horrid!
-Enrolled in a traditional media art class! plan on soaking up everything presented there!
-Right knee has arthritis, have to walk with a cane sometimes till I see a doctor!
-New pair of boots look awesome with the rest of my clothes!
-Home office is a shambles, work impossible until I re-organize it!
-New art class has given me a reason to re-organize it!
-Guy I really have been in love with for a few years is getting married in October, I'm the best man!
-He'll finally have a healthy and stable, non abusive relationship!
-Still lack a car and a full fledged license!
-Unrest about it is growing so someone might finally teach me how to drive at least!
-blog doesn't have much traffic
-I have my own blog!

Posted 15 years agowell... this just takes the cake... my tablet pen... is nowhere to be seen, I do plan to keep searching but for this reason I can only do traditional works...
Thankfully my art class has gotten me up to par in that area... now the problem is with the scanner, if it works you shall hopefully see some of what I've been fooling around drawing

Pain.. oh lord the pain
Posted 15 years agoso today I learned a few lessons in physics through application, namely acceleration, inertia, and the effect of kinetic energy on my freaking elbows, at about 8:15 this morning I slipped, fell and cracked my left elbow, which is now a lovely shade of purple, this was painful but I thought to myself "no biggie I'm right handed"... well every time I went to write I set down my left arm in a way that sends shooting pain up it... so I went home... well about 10 minutes ago in the shower, I slipped, fell and cracked my right elbow... needless to say drawing is now out of the question...

Posted 15 years agoRecently I bought a fragrance called 'poe's tobacco' a blend of tobacco, tea leaves, amberwood, and autumn apple by Tokyomilk, thinking it was a cologne... well it turns out its a perfume, and I really don't care, I kinda realized... it doesnt matter as long as it smells good on you, which this one I really like, its like a mix of old leather, old books, and sweet pipe tobacco. Posted 15 years agoI was hit on at the mall, by a pair of girls from my school while wearing a hat covered with gay pride buttons, 6 pieces of rainbow paraphernalia...
I just wonder if they were unobservant or just doing it for the hell of it... but they wouldn't let me leave without their phone numbers... also... they were wearing pink leopard print... everything...
that has nothing to do with the being hit on bit.... but still what the hell is up with that? Can I not eat a freaking sandwich without some random cheerleader (no offense to any cheerleaders) coming up and forcing her number on me? Do the rainbow keychains and pins (one pin in particular which spells out "Yay For Gay" in bright rainbow letters) not send a clear enough message? do I give off an odor which attracts them and repels gay men? Just some questions which have come to mind...
