Well, first off. I have news!
I'm back to college to study art! YAY!!!! Im so excited about it. For those who dont know, I've suffered from severe depression since I was 12, and I barely ever go outside. But today, I went to a art school-thingy and well... loved it. I begin classes in January and I'm super excited about it!! I cried a little HAH silly me.

For a long time, I guess since I was a kid.. I've always wondered what English people were.

Now, I bet I sound crazy. But, we've always had the celts/britons (Welsh, Irish, Scottish) and then the Vikings (Danish, Swedish, Norwegians, Icelandic, Finnish etc.).

So I would often think to myself "what are we then?"

We arent considered Viking or Celtic. I knew Anglo saxons (old Germanic tribes) were behind a big part of the English population after the Romans left, and a lot of Britons were chased to the countries borders and shores, populating mainly Wales and Scotland. But that still left me clueless. I come from a family that's been 100% "english" for.. well.. seems like forever.

But I feel like I have no kind of cultural history once you get past the more modern happenings. No roots to embrace, I guess.

Wow, I sound crazy. But yeah. I love and adore history, always have done, always will do. So I'm always eager to learn about other peoples cultures (ESPECIALLY GODS. Nordic gods, Greek gods~ etc~)

I've been sick and just not in the mood to draw.

I have some ideas for my tribes (re-designing the leaders outfits and gears.. and such ^^)
and also planning out a comic for them whilst trying to practice and improve every day. Dia needs a reference sheet too, of both his tribal outfit (basically nekkid) and his casual wear for when hes off palaven.

Whats your favourite material to work with?

I'm currently in the process of writing out a mock-comic chapter for Ferrus, explaining some of his background. I'm not sure if I'll go through with it, but I would like to. I'm better with a pencil than with a tablet, so I'm considering making it a traditional comic, then maybe overlaying some colour in photoshop later on, maybe ink it too.. not sure hm. so much to think about. though I'd rather bethinking about this stuff than the shit thats lately been bothering me.

I always feel like, if I display something like sadness in public, then I am automatically an attention whore. I'm not saying people who do actually do it are attention whores, no no no! It's just a stupid rule I apply to me and myself only. I have many rules like that.. People say I'm too hard on myself, I think I'm nowhere near hard enough.

I guess it's better than bottling it up though, right? I've done that for many years..

I recently got news that my little cousin (who is basically the sister I never had) might be sectioned soon. She has anorexia, shes like.. 40 pounds / 4 stone right now. I went to see her the other week and when I hugged her, it was like holding on to a skeleton..

On top of that, I found my mother crying to herself, apparently my great aunt bitched at her. Because of me. What did I do? Nothing, really.

I've had severe depression for a very long time. I was about.. 12/13 when it all started. But to cut a story short, I'm a recluse, anti-social, ex-self harmer, my confidence is rock bottom and yeah.. I barely leave the house once a month.

I feel bad for my mother.

I don't wallow in self pity - there's no point to doing that. But its hard.. hard to wake up in the morning and force yourself to live out another day; when all the energy you once had vaporised along with the happiness you once felt.

Regardless, I'm worried about my cousin, I'm scared she'll die and how it'll affect my family.
