Videos with not much action
General | Posted 8 months agoDear Mateys,
I would like to address how my videos on Youtube will be done. There will be no action or drama or anything of the sort. It's most videos about ferry rides and reviewing them but mostly boat watching. They won't be anything like movies you see in cinemas, some might find these dull and boring, but I can't really do much about that. There's really no need to address it either, it's actually more polite for people to keep such remarks to themselves.
Of course, for those who have seen my video and do like it thanks for watching it and I do hope that if it is in God's will then I will be able to make more of those videos for you. I might even do some animated cartoons with my ferry characters and all some may even be dedicated to my furry friends. If I do, then I might create new fishing boat characters that are entirely mine and are not from Deadliest Catch like Sig Hansen for example, especially since I can't promise to have the real ones voicing over, at least not for a cost, although I could use AI to make my voice sound like them but I don't think that's such a good idea.
Speaking of which I'm all for anyone who is willing to do fan stories of my characters and even fanarts. Just credit me for them and do not use them for NSFW images, if you're going to draw my furry characters naked then don't do so with anything inappropriate unless I say you can. They might even help inspire me for my own stories., which is why I encourage it.

My first video on Yotube.
General | Posted 8 months agoDear Mateys,
Today I have uploaded my first video on Youtube. I started my Youtube channel to upload boat watching videos and ferry rides in the Pacific Northwest USA and in Western Canada. That wasn't supposed to happen until Summer this year, but I decided to upload my video of my adventure on the Virginia V from last year. Link down below.
I hope in the good will of our father in Heaven, that I will get to share more of these adventures in video with all of you.

My family is coming!
General | Posted 8 months agoDear Mateys,
I'm having a busy start of Spring. Lots of things have happened since my grandfather's passing. My aunt (my mother's younger sister), actually inherited his house which my mother and her siblings grew up in. It made me happy because that house has been in our family since the 1970s and is fully paid for, my aunt is looking to renovate it, one improvement I'm looking forward to is raising the ceiling in the kitchen which so many people have bonked their heads on especially my father who remains taller than me and I'm 5ft 9in, but she's also looking to westernize the whole thing with beds and everything, I feel like it's just fine in a traditional setting and that all this is completely unnecessary but this is what she wants.
Anyway, my entire family is coming to the USA from South Korea to visit us. The old folks are going to stay with my mother and stepfather while my cousins are going to stay with me and my sister, and we've been busy preparing for their visit. I'm looking forward to it, but I am overwhelmed, not just with preparation but at the thought of them coming over. It's a good thing I decided to take a hiatus.
My aunt has the hope of when they in a week leave, we'll go with them and we're considering that too, so chances are I will be in South Korea for a week afterward. I'm not sure if that's going to happen but we'll have to see. No trip to Korea is ever long enough for me or my sister.

When I started this profile, I vowed to draw everything from scratch, vehicles, backgrounds the works. I like drawing content for all of you and I still have to finish Rebekah the ferryboat. However, drawing is beginning to feel more like a job than a hobby, maybe I need to have a long rest from it.
Truth to be told, I've always hated drawing backgrounds and vehicles, but like I just said that's what I vowed to do when I started this. I did it anyway because I wanted to build up my skills. But I always found it easier to draw characters than anything else. I don't mind drawing anything else, but it takes longer and it's also more difficult, but I still end each one with satisfying results, and I'm always proud of how I did.
I hope that eventually I'll start to like drawing again as I always did. I always had 1 fun project after another and maybe I'll feel well enough to do more content for all of you.

I have a new Youtube Channel
General | Posted 9 months agoDear Mateys,
I have a new Youtube Channel under my name. I don't have anything there yet, but I'll leave a link to it below, I'm hoping to do some boat watching videos which I'll post there. I might even do some animations in the future, but that might not be something worth promising, but you'll never know what the future might bring or bring you into. I'm hoping to start at the beginning of Summer, and I do hope you'll have as much fun as me.

Grandfather is gone
General | Posted 9 months agoDear Mateys,
I would like to take one last opportunity to give thanks to everyone who has offered hopes and prayers. However, my grandfather died peacefully this morning. The best part is that he will no longer suffer. By this point, I have no living grandparents left.
My grandfather was a sergeant major in the Korean Air Force, fighting one battle after another, witnessing young men dying all around him under gunfire. You can't go through hell like that and not get changed by it, it made him rather violent in raising a family sometimes taking an axe and breaking things. Thankfully it began to calm as he got older for the sake of grandchildren. He raised my mother and my aunts and uncle well none the less.
Grandpa was also a pagan worshipping his ancestors but when he was close to death he came face to face with an angel and I believe he finally came to accept God who had now come down and taken him to Heaven, which was the hope we always had. Now he can rest peacefully.

General | Posted 9 months agoDear Mateys,
I received word today that my grandfather is in the ICU and is not expected to survive. My mother is going to South Korea tomorrow to care for him, and I might be following soon after. Today I saw him through a video call via my aunt. His condition was terrible, he couldn't talk, and he couldn't open his eyes. He heard my words but couldn't answer. That's how bad it is.
Another thing about my grandfather is that he's not Christian, he's a pagan who worships our ancestors, this is something else that makes me worried for him. I'm hoping that before he dies, he will be able to see into the lord and accept to him and then maybe despite what he did, he will go to the Realm of Heaven.
It certainly looks like a busy March is ahead of me.

As many of you know,
Panda-Jenn is going through a difficult time, things are not getting better with her mother and honestly, I know what it's like living with an unstable parent, she's trying to leave as soon as possible. She can't do that without our help. Go see her journal entry on Furaffinity to find out more, the link will be below.
Similarly,
scorpiogustavo is also falling behind on rent and needs commissions, again find out more on his Furaffinity profile in a second link below.

Last year I had quite a busy December resulting in me not doing any artwork, it doesn't look like I'll be posting much this month either if at all, only to have just posted 1 for
AlexTheFox2002 . I still come up with new ideas, so I don't think I'll stop completely. New characters might even be introduced.
However, I've been portraying my ferrysona as a captain, but to honest I don't think I'm in the right mind to be one and therefore I'll be not exactly taking a demotion, but I'll be going a bit back in time to when I would've been a first officer, my captainess at the time was a Bengal tiger whom I will be introducing a little bit later, but does take some inspiration from the famous pirate Anne Bonny.
I do hope I will get my artistic motivation back before February. There's still so much I want to do, whether it's crabbing or delivering passengers and goods from one port to another. Drawing backgrounds does take a lot of effort and time however which is why I never liked doing them in the first place, same goes for vehicles, but I've done good so far and I'm not willing to quit. I can't promise anything in an instant, after all new ideas don't just fall from the sky but they'll come when they come and that I can assure.

Prepare yourself because I'm going to be venting for a bit.
3 days ago, a journal entry was posted on DeviantArt by my old friend BobGrayWolf because his mother is extremely unwell and requiring prayer from anyone who believes in miracles. Something I used to believe in but no longer do, and why?
Well last year for me was a year lacking in miracles and drowning in prayers that were never answered, because of decisions that I made. I lost my job, I can't get unemployment and I'm living off my sickly mother's earnings, which as far as I'm concerned is a good as homeless. I've been looking for a loved one all my life and I failed, only to find one who was so far away and have never truly met. It was agreed between us that it wasn't proper, but I feel like meeting a woman to have as a wife will never happen.
Events around me caused me to allow evil to take over my heart, I began to abuse myself urging others to punish me for the wrong things I did to them, I then turned to the desire of suicide. I was a porn and sex addict, no matter what I did to stop this it only persisted, I even sexualized characters that I knew I wasn't supposed to.
I knew if I was going to change, I had to revert back to old beliefs, when I was a teenager, I never believed in scenarios where furries and non-faceless vehicles were not together. Let's be honest, animals in real life aren't sentient and vehicles like all machines aren't even alive, plants are alive but are still objects in then end. But anyway, after watching some episodes of Theodore Tugboat and Deadliest Catch, I decided to go from being a furry to a non-faceless steam boat. While I knew, this wasn't going to stop me from my sex addictions, it was necessary to keep from abusing myself for all sin I was aware I've committed and that I've broken all but 3 commandments.
But once a crook always a crook, the wrong things I can never forget the wrong things I did, and it still haunts me to this day. But I've been so bad, that faith is no longer on my side, and it seems God refuses to help me for all this, many people became distrustful of me, and I only have myself to blame, I just don't know what to do anymore. I feel like I've done all I can to fix myself but it's no good. I got in trouble way too much, and I've become a rather large letdown in the furry fandom, to my family and myself, I feel like I've lost my life.

R.I.P. Britt Allcroft 1943 - 2025
General | Posted 11 months agoDear Mateys,
I only just heard we lost the lady who brought Thomas and Friends to our television screens. That would be Britt Allcroft.
She was born on December 14, 1943 and was given the name Hilary Mary Allcroft but as she started her television career she would change her name to "Britt" and it's how she would be known from then on.
While she was doing a documentary on British steam engines in August 1979, she met with the Reverend Awdry himself. She admitted that it didn't take long for her to be intrigued by his characters and with that her history in filmmaking really began and she founded Britt Allcroft productions with her husband Angus Wright and started to raise funding for what would become the hugely popular Thomas and Friend series.
With its success in England she later introduced the series to the USA with Ringo Starr still narrating of course he would be replaced by George Carlin for the American narrations in the midst of the second season. Ultimately, she would quit her role in the Thomas and Friends series thanks to her movie Thomas and The Magic Railroad not turning out so great according to fans.
Britt would produce other children's cartoons as well such as the Magic Adventures of Mumfie. Britt would spend the rest of her life in Santa Monica California USA where she died in January of 2025.
Thank you Britt Allcroft for bringing Thomas to our television screens. You will always be remembered in the hearts of all Thomas fans; now may you rest in peace.

R.I.P. Jimmy Carter 1924 -2024
General | Posted 11 months agoDear Mateys,
Today the 39th president of the United States of America, Jimmy Carter has died. He set a record for the oldest living US president and being the first to live an entire century having to have celebrated his 100th birthday in October this year.
Jimmy served in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1953 as an active seaman and between then and 1961 as reserve. He supported the civil rights movement and became an activist within the Democratic Party. He was a dark horse candidate being elected as the Govenor of the State of Georgia in 1971 until he stepped down in 1975 and in 1977 was elected as president taking Gerald Ford's place on the throne.
Jimmy was succeeded by former actor Ronald Regan in 1981 and would continue to live to the age of 100. He was the first U.S. President to do so and was given birthday wishes by other presidents of the USA who came after him, including George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
As of today, Jimmy Carter died to have lived an entire century. I'm much live movie star Maggie Smith, some of us might have figured that Jimmy would live forever, but of course nobody truly does, and most people don't even make it to 100 years and this is something Jimmy would make a mark on being the first president to live this many years.

Happy Christmas!
General | Posted 12 months agoDear Mateys,
Tonight is Christmas, the season of giving and of perpetual hope. I wanted to do some Christmas artwork but a recent trip on the Caribbean followed by my sickness which I'm doing better now and my sister's boyfriend who was watching our pets during our cruise crowding up my entire desk, I was unable to do any. Oh well, there's always next year.
But I hope everyone is doing well, because for the past week I've been down with a cold as mentioned earlier but I believe I've recovered now, although I still have a cough. I do hope that in God's good will I'll be able to do what I wasn't able to do this year and that for those who have fallen ill this season, the good Lord will put his healing hands on them, and they too will be well again as he has done for me.

I'm back!
General | Posted a year agoDear Mateys,
Yesterday I have returned from my cruise in the Caribbean on the RMS Nieuw Statendam. I really enjoyed my time there, I had a lot of great adventures, I saw many ships and just had a good time in general. I rode on a military truck in the Dominican Republic, I toured a pirate museum in the Bahamas, it was brilliant.
Holland America was a great steamship company, and I liked it better than Norwegian Cruise Line which up until now was the only cruise line I've been on and if it's in God's will then I'll go back on the Nieuw Statendam or another Holland America ocean liner.

Only 1 day left before my cruise.
General | Posted a year agoDear Mateys,
Tomorrow, I leave very early indeed. I'll be off to the airport to catch a flight to Fort Lauderdale Florida USA where I will board the RMS Niew Statendam for a trip out to the Caribbean. I'll be gone until the 14th of December. I'll be happy to be in a place where the weather is warm because it's getting rather cold up her in Washington State.
I've never been on the Holland America Line before, every time I went on a cruise it was always on Norwegian and so this will be a new experience. I've got a whole adventure ahead of me, so I hope you all have a good start of December.
I'll be sure to photograph other ships I'll meet as well and get a few of all my adventures. I won't post all of them sadly, but I'll probably be able to post a few. I'll be back next Saturday on December the 14th. I'm really looking forward to this.

Captain Jacob Ferryboat,
People are Blocking me because of somebody.
General | Posted a year agoDear Mateys,
I'm rather livid right now, earlier tonight I got a note from someone on Discord saying that we're no longer friends and someone else helped me realize why before blocking me too.
People have been blocking me everywhere because of one person EvafanartsclubEC on DeviantArt, whom I understand acts like a child despite the fact that she's 15, the age where she would transition from a girl to a woman. She often throws tantrums when people block her, and I understand there are so many people who hate her for that, and she only has a few friends because of it. Which I understand.
I used to be a lot like her, it was hard to change but after a few incidents when I was a furry, I realized I still had some maturing to do. Eva's probably in the same position; perhaps like me she needs to learn the hard way. But my conscience also tells me she's going through a lot as did I when I was her age and, in some cases, even still to this day.
I know a lot of people are going to throw a lot of comments and messages at me saying how bad she is and I'm an idiot for sticking by her side, but I find it hard to leave her even when she's toxic. But in Matthews 18:22 a verse about forgiveness implies. Jesus said to his disciples, I tell you not 7 times but 70 times 7. So, we need to forgive people at least 490 times and probably even more than that.
Again, I know I'm going to get a lot of hate comments for this for continuing to be friends with a toxic woman. But as Professor Dumbledore from the Harry Potter series said, People find it far easier to forgive others for being wrong than being right. Professor Dumbledore also said to Harry; It is not our abilities that show who we are, it is our choices. Eva might make some poor choices, but I did too. Change is hard but not impossible. However, some have to be pushed harder than others in order to do so. I'm sure people such as
fredvegerano,
Raini and
Taliyus will agree with me.

Is Harry Potter satanic or pagan?
General | Posted a year agoDear Mateys,
The Harry Potter series is something I've been seeing for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a boy, I wanted to go to Hogwarts even though I wasn't so fond of boarding schools. But as of recent I realized that some Christians believe it to be something satanic or pagan or something and it's a series that some Christian children never get to experience. Take South Korea for instance, it's a country that's very heavily Christian in every way, even though the Harry Potter series airs on television and is available on DVD and streaming, almost nobody there ever watches it.
Also, my sister used to mention a girl in her 2nd grade class, who said anyone who watches Harry Potter is possessed by the devil or something like that.
I mentioned many times that I don't celebrate Halloween and maybe some people think it has to do with that, but despite the environment I find this untrue, but I mostly find that it's because of witchcraft but other holidays have been represented as well even Christmas, most of the films weren't even released in October same for the books.
Maybe this is something
Raini or
fredvegerano can clear up. If there really is something about the Harry Potter series that makes it something that Christians should keep at bay from it.

I'll be away for 7 to 8 days next week.
General | Posted a year agoDear Mateys,
I hope you're all having a very happy Thanksgiving today; I came to inform everyone that next week I'll be off on a trip, I'll be taking a cruise out to the Caribbean on the RMS Niew Statendam, a ship operating for the Holland America Line.
I'll be leaving on the 6th of December, and I'll be gone for about a week. I won't have my computer with me during that time and I'll also be visiting other countries and therefore I won't likely be in communication during that time, at least not until I'm back within US boarders. But I'll be happy to share my adventures when I return, particularly from one place in the Dominican Republic that I'm really looking forward to seeing.

We have a friend in need!
General | Posted a year agoDear Mateys,
Panda-Jenn needs out help. She is struggling more than ever as stated in a journal she made in the link below. It'll be nice if people would donate to her via Ko-Fi or give her a commission if she can still take them, links will be below.
I can use this kind of help myself really so I'm thinking of opening up commissions sometime after Christmas. At least I have family who can take me in just in case, this is not the case for Jenn. But I'm in a situation that I still feel like is a good as homeless. Otherwise, I'd gladly show my support.
If anybody doesn't donate to her or make a commission, I'll make them walk the plank.

Hallow's Eve is Here!
General | Posted a year agoDear Mateys,
Many people by now are dressing up for trick-or-treating and getting into the celebration of Hallow's Eve. However, it's a celebration that I dare not get into because of the amount of wickedness involved attracting evil spirits into causing trouble. I'd rather use this day to praise the lord and ask for his protection and in good hope, I will remain pure from wickedness and evil.
For those who also wish to praise the lord for the good of all I have posted a song for you all in the hopes that may God will protect you all. Link down below.

On Bluesky now!
General | Posted a year agoDear Mateys,
Since a lot of people have been moving to BlueSky I decided just recently that I would do the same and so I did. I'll leave a link to my BlueSky below. I'm sorry to say that BlueSky is members only so you'll have to register before you can watch me there. Either way, the fun will continue over there.

Now in October
General | Posted a year agoWe're 8 days into October and I know a lot of people by now are preparing for Halloween. However, it's not a holiday for me, while I have friends including my ex who enjoy it and celebrate it, I'm just not one of them, although I'm friendly with a werewolf, the vicar of Graywolf City BobGrayWolf on DeviantArt LOL! No, there's a difference between werewolves and furry wolves, both stand on 2 legs but one is not nearly as evil.
All in all, my goal is to keep by God's side and not engage in these wicked activities and just focus on hauling goods and passengers across the sea, but this month will always be a long voyage in all this.
Captain Jacob Ferryboat,

Jimmy Carter is now 100
General | Posted a year agoDear Mateys,
Jimmy Carter is the oldest US President still alive and today he became the first president to become a whole century old. Let's hope he can reach 101.
Jimmy was the president of the United States of America between 1977 and 1981 succeeding Gerald Ford on the throne and until Ronald Regan took his place. But little did anyone know that Jimmy would outlive many of his successors. Yes, despite his recent health problems God truly is protecting him and may God protect you all too.

Captain Jacob Ferryboat,
R.I.P. Maggie Smith 1934 - 2024
General | Posted a year agoDear Mateys,
Today we lost yet another Harry Potter star. Maggie Smith, who has played many roles in many shows but none more famous than the firm, but fair Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter films. J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series even quoted "Somehow I thought she'd live forever". Of course, nobody really does.
Maggie won Oscars and academy awards for 14 different films including the famous Harry Potter series which made her the magical role which fit her so well and made her more famous than she ever could've been.
Maggie Smith died in London England at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on September 27, 2024 at the age of 89.
