Anthrocon23!!!! Roll call!

After having an amazing time at FWA last month I decided I'm gonna go to Anthrocon! Might do a little pop-up and sell some work in the city- location TBA.
I'll be attending as a normal furry being who isn't stuck in the artist alley or dealers den the whole time and I'm psyched!! Its been a while I've gone to a con to actually enjoy It!
I'll probably make some posts later on with what i'm wearing and how to spot me- but in the meantime follow me on the twit! Fexazaur

I'm thinking it might be fun to try and offer them, but don't really know where to start. Would anyone be interested in me teaching them, or have some advice if you've done them before?
They would be hourly and be student run (in the way that the student would have to give me topics on what they want to learn or have artwork I'd be able to give feedback on for the session)

Posted 8 years agoHey everyone! I've finally graduated, woohooo! Now I've officially got a BFA in Illustration, watch out world here i come!
Anyway, this means I'll eventually get around to revamping commissions, potentially prepping to go to cons (already have a few prints available), and just doing more overall. Give me a few weeks to settle down and hopefully you'll get to see some neat stuff unfolding! I do still have two part time jobs at the moment so commissions may still take a while, but they ARE open!

Final semester!
Posted 8 years agoSO next week tuesday I go back to school... its my last semester ever (which is exciting but also kinda scary). Commissions are closed(ish) up for now as I have a ton of stuff I need to finish and get a jump on this next week. I'm not really sure what this semester has in store as the teachers left it super open ended (other than finishing thesis which is going to be a pain, I've got toooo much to do haha).
I hope I actually end up posting things but we'll see! Wish me luck!

Posted 9 years agoOkay. So, between paying back loans, saving up for a trip I'll need to take back to Finland next September (for a gallery show! Woo!) And potentially moving out of my parents house (after 21 long long years, I might be starting to go crazy, and probably won't be able to move out for a few years... but I need to try and start saving up more.) Id like to reopen commissions. Yes, I'm also working on my senior year thesis but sometimes I need a little break to do fun smaller projects x)

So yes, school is back and that means commissions are closed again! (crowd boos) But hey! Thesis is this year and I'll get to do some neat things, I also have a screen printing class so maybe I'll have some stuff to sell eventually.
I'm also overloaded with my part time job and some leftover commissions from the summer but once I get myself together (which will probably be never) ill try to post stuff here! I'll be having a weekly blog journal thing for my thesis so maybe I'll be able to cross post some stuff here, eh

I'm gonna be in a train for the next hour ish and wanted to do free art so link me your ref!

Spring semester!
Posted 9 years agoAllright, I got back a few days ago from Florida, thank you so much everyone who commissioned me beforehand, the extra funds really helped out in my trip!! I got to meet a ton of Disney characters and was like non stop walking all week x) it was awesome.
Anyway, monday I go back to school and also have to get myself together and work on my concept art portfolio (i will be applying to some game design/concept art internships soon!) which means that my commissions are closed until further notice. I may open back some keychains since i'll have access to the laser cutter again but I'll post a journal about that when I see how busy my classes get.
Sooo yea, hopefully I'll stay active but for now tally ho!
