Well, it's been a crazy few weeks. My portfolio review at Illuxcon 4 went very well. My reviewer said I am ready for small time game companies - trading cards, board games, rpg's, that sort of thing. Hopefully regular work should come soon, and then I can say good fucking bye to customer service. My wife is being what amounts to my agent and looking up all these companies, encouraging me to draw for you guys, and keep theportfolio pieces coming. I tell ya, when you find someone good, DO NOT let them go. Staple them to the floor if you have to.

ANYWAY, status update. I've got the sketch done on the next request piece. I think it's going pretty well, considering I've never done a vagina before. A lot of studying and references. Medical illustrations actually help a lot more than porn, if you can believe it.

So yes. Expect its completion in... a week. A week from today is my self-assigned deadline.

That's probably the next thing you'll here from me.

Just bragging.

It's been really busy, and I haven't been able to get to the tablet as often as I'd like. After the honeymoon, speed on the requests should really pick up.

From here on out, I'm going to charge for commissions. I'll take a survey of other artists and see what they're charging, and price accordingly, so expect a price list once all of these requests are done.

Ok, guys and gals, here's the deal.

I am DELIGHTED to take requests. As of this moment, two requests have been claimed. I will be accepting a total of 5, after which I will be charging a modest fee for commissions.

So, if you're broke and horny (or you want something beautiful, I don't JUST do porn, ya know) then write me a note. I'll put up another journal when they're all taken.

It was old, and it still KIND OF WORKS, but not to the point where I can proceed without them looking like crap. I'd rather deliver late than deliver crap. The circuit board came out, the right-click button thingy broke off completely, you get the idea.
