I have been getting a large amount of messages lately about people using an AI model of my art style. It has gotten to the point where it's becoming spammy, and I ask that you guys stop. This has been quite a strange and intriguing poll, with sudden jumps for certain characters and drops for others compared to last year.

Firstly, let's go over the results for all the new characters!

Nefirti is the newest member to Mika's party. I wasn't expecting her to become an official ally to her, at first drawing her as a simple lioness archer, but she seemed to really grow on a lot of people. I did not think she'd surpass 100 votes due to how manipulative she is and how she tried to jump rank for exposing Mika, but I believe her being assigned to Mika was quite a fun twist, especially considering her attitude towards Mika. She will surely make a unique addition to her team with her combat skills and tough demeanor!

Grendel has the highest score out of all the Feralverse newcomers! There's no doubt that a voracious anaconda would take people's hearts. Snakes are real life "same-size" vore creatures, after all! I've always thought that snakes have a very gentle and slow way of devouring their prey, easing them into their gullets, and it's always fun to depict their gradual descent deeper into their coils.

Leopold and Constance of the Hunter-Killers did not perform quite as well. Seems they haven't made that great of a first impression! Constance in particular did not get to do much in the series, but her time will come. Leopold, of course, has yet to show his huge appetite, as that possum hardly makes a bulge in him!

Vera the Reshiram was well known even before finally being added to the list. I've drawn numerous pictures of her, and it took a while for her to get her first official vore reference. She hasn't received as many votes as I expected, so perhaps the time between her entries was a bit too big of a gap for her to linger in people's minds. Either way, it's clear that a handful do favor her, and I'm still looking into a workable design for her Zekrom brother, which will be much more challenging!

Holly, Leon's girlfriend and partner in journalism, was shown in the latest comic series in the Drachaverse, though she didn't quite get in on the fun! Despite that and her lack of art, she got a decent amount of votes. I always thought she was a nice compliment to Leon. The fox boy would be idling a lot more if it weren't for her, let alone trying new things (like being a pred!).

Fulga officially swoops in as the most popular of the three Kantonian bird sisters! The reason seems quite obvious: her part in Hildegard's quest was just released, though it was only released WHILE the poll was underway. I thought it appropriate to include her since many of my patrons should be familiar with her as the quest went on in my server. Lucile was popular too, but is now surpassed by the Screaming Storm. Will this hold up in the future? We'll see!

Next are the most notable jumps and dips this session:

Fay used to be around the middle of the results, but this time she has shot up a very notable amount, almost making it to the top three! We did release the demo for our game, and people really seem to enjoy her! Her landing all the way up to 4th place speaks volumes! I did draw her quite a few times even before the demo release, so it's great to see that the game has done her some good there.

Sol has also leapt up from the mire of runner-ups to take 6th place under Michelle and one over his lover, Seara (how??)!

Cobalt also manages to make it to the top 10 this time! I don't recall what I've done to get him this high, but it seems this benevolent psychic Dracha has still captured many people's hearts.

Ashe and Beatrix did not quite get to the runner-ups, but compared to the last poll where they were among the bottom, this is a huge climb for the both of them, and I'm satisfied where they're at. That means that this latest comic series was a worthwhile venture, and I'm glad you guys enjoyed their interaction!

Shin has jumped up from the middle all the way to just skirting the edge of the top 10! While we haven't seen him in action for a while, I'm glad you guys are liking his facelift to appear more rat-like!

Certain Medieverse characters like Sir Brant and Meriel have also gotten a big chunk of voters compared to last year, surpassing 100 this time around.

Some lizards have gotten more love, namely Inca and Iliac, who both now have more than 100 votes!

Balmung is no longer the lowest voted! Again, not sure how this came to be, since he hasn't had his big moment yet, but it's nice to see this cool, electric Dracha climb a bit. Another electric reptile, Craig the Toxtricity, has also risen up the ranks!

We'll now look at some surprising drops:

Davy, who used to be among the top characters as a runner-up, has shot down to 37th place. Fiona has also dropped from a higher position, but still has passed 100 votes. This new position could likely be because of all the other characters that got a surge in popularity this time around.

Nino and Viola have experienced a huge fall from grace, among the lowest voted. This is a bit sad and ironic, considering they used to be some of the Feralverse favorites back when I was drawing them a lot, but I guess that's how it is! Since it was a long time ago and many new people have watched me since then, it's understandable that the stoats would go over people's radars since they don't receive as much attention.

Adrestia and Damos haven't had their time to shine yet, but I'm still planning on something cathartic and fun for the Mewtwos for those that have read their debut in Kinetic Spirits.

The Three Maelstroms, Gault, Justina, and Alexeev are among the most poorly performing characters with a rather pathetic amount of votes. I anticipate spending some time with them, as I do have an idea for a series starring the Tidehold officials.

Elise is another character I used to draw much more back in the day. To see her as the lowest voted character above the obvious two lowest (Evelyn and Puru, who I don't expect to change anytime soon), is a bit of a wake up call for me. Looking back, she was considered quite a fun character with her gluttony paired with her obsession with fitness. She has a lot of potential, and I should certain give that more attention down the road.

As for my output of content since then, I wanted to focus a lot more on the Drachaverse and start fleshing out some backstories. Comic series are really time-consuming, however, and the Drachaverse especially is a challenge - it always has been for me. Drawing cities, vehicles, and all manners of modern machinery is something I am not strong in, but to grow as an artist, I have to get out of that comfort zone we're all too familiar with. Either way, I do hope you guys enjoyed the latest series going into how Ashe and Beatrix first met!

I've also progressed Hildegard's Quest for Aura, though I'm not quite done yet. This current encounter I am working on is quite long (for good reason), though it's almost done. Afterwards, we'll be back to checking up on how Mika's doing in her journey!

This time period is when Palworld released. I never expected to get into it, but I managed to pump out a good deal of art for some of my favorite creatures in that game. They're quite fun to draw, and I've been asked numerous times if I were thinking about a new Verse in that world, but I'm not planning on it. I already have many worlds to manage and untangle in my head, and going for another belonging to an IP that isn't mine just isn't wise. Needless to say, I will certainly draw more Pal art in the future, so look out for it!

About future comic series, I'm looking to continuing where we left off with Sheila's pack, still stuck in the prison pit. The series will begin in November. After that, perhaps another series in the Medieverse is in order...

Work is continuing on my game as well. Releasing a demo was a big moment for us, and we hope you guys enjoyed what we had to offer so far. There is still much work ahead, as many things about it will be changed, and quite a few new additions are being worked on as well to make the game feel like a complete experience with a proper story and numerous endings.

I was hesitant to use it at first because my game is being hosted there and I didn't want to find the bundles so easily alongside it. We all knew this was coming with Gumroad's announcement back then, I was only riding it out to see how long it would last. I'd like to give some thoughts on some of the information here. First, I want to skim through the biggest voting differences from last year.

- Sheila takes first place for the first time since 2017!
This is likely due to her presence in the latest comic, as well as the change in the tones of her coat (submitted Dec 2022)! Either way, congrats to her!

- The biggest negative differences include Hildegard, Fleur, and Xerxes.
It is interesting how Sheila and Mika have gotten more votes since last year, yet Hildegard and Fleur didn't get as much. They are still in top positions, however, so I won't worry too much about them. Xerxes fell off quite a bit though, and I'd chalk that up to simply not having done much with him (publicly at least). His picture last year was also him as a Zorua, and that might have caused a bit of dissonance and turned attention away from his original Zoroark form.

- Percy gets the largest positive difference from last year!
Congratulations to Percy! His voracious deeds in the current comic series The Hunter-Killers has probably helped skyrocket him to a higher position. Glad you are all enjoying his debut! It's also worth mentioning that Little Bad Wolf and Atlas also received a big jump! In Atlas' case, it's strange, as the series he starred in was in progress in 2021, so what could have contributed to his leap?

- Drachaverse characters are still struggling.
I have always and still do stand by the fact that making appealing vore scenarios and sequences in a more modern, civilized setting is difficult. The sense of morality seems rather skewed and a feeling of immersion is challenging to earn here. Back then, the "modern verse" did not involve Drachas at all, and I thought that including them and making them a "sovereign" force would make the setting more attractive. Victor and Glade sit together in the middle point of the character list (cute!) but other anthros are still stuck in the mire of 30 or fewer votes.

- Balmung sits at the lowest position!
Despite making a vore picture with him as well as his Draconic form, Balmung can't even break 20 votes! In fact, he's done worse than last year, as even Grottos has overtaken him! I had designed him with the intention of looking sharp, dangerous, and stylish, especially for a Dracha, but it seems I have failed to capture something that can resonate with more people. Either way, I'll be looking into what that is and what is missing, as from what I've seen, Drachas tend to rank somewhat highly.

- Grottos rises out of the lowest position, but not much higher.
Grottos, Embra, and Frifna are my oldest "dragon" characters and have underwent quite a few changes in their design. Grottos, however, has been stuck at the bottom for as long as I can remember. This year, he's the highest he has ever been, but only three rows above the lowest. A large, anthro dragon with a round "dad gut" I assumed would catch more than a few eyes, but even after the picture I drew of him this year, he is still dreadfully low in the ladder. Perhaps it's his position as a businessman that isn't very appealing? I have some ideas for him, but I have never been well-acquainted with the business world or its terms, so it's a bit of a struggle to get things going with him.

- Autumn ranks very highly!
On to something a little more positive for a brief moment, but while Autumn has appeared once in a past poll, I thought I should take her out since she never got a reference at that time (I was holding it back so that people aren't spoiled as to who she is). It's great to see that many people love her, and I like to think it's not just because she is a Braixen. In Kinetic Spirits' past iteration, she didn't even exist, so I think she was a fine addition this time around. Speaking of new additions and Kinetic Spirits...

- The Mewtwins still rank low!
Damos and Adrestia are star characters in Kinetic Spirits. From the data I've seen, it doesn't seem like many people have read it, which is disappointing but somewhat expected. I think that perhaps there is a lack of characterization for these two, or perhaps the X/Y mega evolutions for Mewtwo were never all that favored. For their designs, I tried to make them a little less alien looking, but it seems I can't do very much to help them, despite how much they've appeared in this story. That being said, I'll continue to brainstorm on what I can do for them, as I feel they deserve more love.

That's most if not all the biggest subjects I thought about with these poll results. From this, I think instead of attempting to draw most of my characters at least once throughout this year, I wish to focus more on those that are sub-30 votes (or even sub-40!). I don't think I've announced this publicly, but I've taken up the task of trying to draw something for (almost) all of my characters throughout a year. As you read in the title, we now have our own dedicated Pixelmon Discord server that centers around the events and updates pertaining to it, and also tournament announcements! Our player base is still quite small, so don't shy out of joining!

Just to reiterate from the previous journal, but we have a full adventure in our server, including a Victory Road and E4, the completion of which will grant you access to a Secret Market that sells building blocks, Mega Stones, and other valuable items! We hold PvP tournies every week now, and rewards include Malgold, a currency that could get you a sketch from me (you would just have to be in the main server, and the Pixelmon discord will enable you to join it)!

Since all news and updates will be centralized in the Discord, this will be the last post I make about the Pixelmon server here; I just wanted to inform you all of the Discord's existence.

We are eventually planning on moving to Pixelmon 9.0+ but that won't be for a while (we are waiting for it to become a stable release, but their constant cycle of bugs and new world gen content doesn't give me confidence they'll finish anytime soon), so a wipe also won't occur for a long time.

The Pixelmon Server was still in-work when I first made the invite journal 12 days ago, but now we can say that we have a fully laid out adventure for people to enjoy! We have 8 main towns with 8 gyms and also a challenging Victory Road and League gauntlet, leading to acquiring the Shiny Charm early and a secret market that sells things like Mega stones, building blocks, and much more! We also hold events every now and then such as Pokemon Outbreaks, EXP multipliers, and monthly PvP tournaments.

Something to be aware of is that we are using a custom resource pack for the server now, and this has apparently caused issues with people crashing upon trying to join. I've recently opened up a Pixelmon server, and anyone is free to join! Pixelmon is a Minecraft mod that mixes the gameplay of Pokemon with the Minecraft world. All Pokemon up to (most of) the Hisuian variants are currently included! We are running the server on the Java Edition of MC. We have routes and towns set up with gyms, though not everything is complete just yet. We're planning a Victory Road and Elite Four gauntlet as well. There will also be Pokemon NPCs based off of my characters that give extra quests (this is also in-work)! When there's enough traffic, I can hold PvP Pokemon Battle Tournaments that could potentially yield Malgold rewards and open regulars up for an invite to my Discord server (if you aren't already in) where we organize other events and where people can redeem sketch rewards!

Hello, everyone! Some of you might not know, but I plan on taking on the freelance life, and am closer than ever in achieving this. I will be leaving my job in a few months to work full time in providing content for you guys and building my worlds and characters. In this pursuit, I am planning on closing commissions for an indefinite amount of time, as I have also changed around Patreon tiers to harbor new rewards, including quest participation and private streams.

I will clarify more on what this entails and the new layouts of the reward tiers this upcoming month (with a picture!), and I would like to spend the time I have in June to prepare for this new system and to get myself ready for this new, huge alteration in lifestyle. I want to make the changes as soon as possible so that I know whether it's effective or not, which is why I'm discontinuing commissions for the time being. - Firstly, there is a new art style, and you have likely already seen it in the current comic series: Barely Survival. This art style will be called the "Color Sketch" style. It is meant to serve as an in-between for the prices of the Lineart and Simple Shaded styles, and can be seen as a "flat color" style. - Secondly, I will now be open for Idea Screening any day of the month. It's as simple as privately messaging me, whether it's on FA, Eka's, or Discord, and pitching your idea to me. This is a good way for you to showcase your idea to me so you don't waste time filling out the application with an idea I don't care for. You'll still have to be careful to include all information asked of you in the application itself though, as this could also factor into whether I pick your idea or not (I've had to reject many applications because not enough information/reference is given).

Commissions are open for December! I have another tip for those who are aiming to get colored, 5-panel comics. Since I am trying to reduce the amount of commissions to the point where it takes me 10-15 days to complete them all, I do not recommend trying to get a detailed comic. This would be a comic that has many characters and backgrounds. It would take up a lot of the queue and rob people of the chance to get in when I like their ideas. Thank you for understanding!
