Thanks for all the support everyone. I feel like I've improved a lot lately and your support keeps me going! I'm sorry if I ever neglect to respond to any compliments, I'm just really shy online sometimes.

I feel sort of bad, that I only ever really make journals if I'm a little desperate for commissions. I'm bad at socializing on the internet. I feel sort of guilty doing this. In no way would I ask for donations, ever. But I need to buy a plane ticket very soon and it looks like I'll probably be covering the whole thing, instead of half of it (at least for right now my partner isn't in a financial place to be contributing at all), and it would be really comforting to have a little more cushioning around this couple hundred bucks I'm about to drop.

Yeah I haven't managed to sell many commissions this summer and it's really upsetting me. For now I'm doing a flat rate of 11 bucks a pop for a well shaded and colored with simple background piece, the type of stuff I normally post. If you want to pay less I'll do flat colors or sketches too, please just hit me up if you want one. I'm open and a little desperate. This year is going to be really expensive for me, and the money I've made working probably isn't going to cover everything I need to do plus plane tickets that allow me to see my beloved. I don't want to be the kind of artist who guilts their followers into handing them money so i really don't want any donations. I feel like I've improved a lot this past year, like I should be selling more art... I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

I'm sorry for the lack of activity lately. Life's been a whirlwind, and my tablet pen broke! A new one is coming in monday, however, and I'll be doing commissions like crazy. Sorry, for right now art trades are closed unless I offer one; however, I am willing to trade art as long as you are willing to donate at least a dollar or two for a fully colored piece.
