Posted 4 months agoMostly making this for those who are curious, but this will contain all the bios I have written for my characters. Just in case.
The Silver Duke: Lord of the Castle of Antares and ruler of Egelvalia, the Silver Duke has ruled his kingdom for around 300 years, and is around 328 years old. Once a normal (often called Primordial) Malzeno, he became infected with the Qurios during an attempt to contain them; while he has not attempted to cure the infection, he has become symbiotic with the parasites. His need for blood is tempered via donated blood from his people, and occasionally blood taken from raiders. Though he has a slightly negative reputation outside of Egelvalia, no one within the kingdom has found a reason to hate him. His actual name is unknown to all but him and a few friends, apparently by choice. Height is 8’5’’
Lady Elizabeth: The Lady of the Citadel of Joy, the White Death, the Justicar, Lady Elizabeth has a terrifying reputation amongst the criminals of Egelvalia despite her retirement from adventuring a long time ago. She is slightly older than the Duke at around 348, though she is friends with him and has been for a long time. She once was an adventurer alongside Shelia and Madeline, with the three of them notably assisting the efforts to defeat the monstrous Gaismagorm known as Death’s End. Elizabeth, even in retirement, is a skillful warrior, prone to bringing her weapon of choice, a halberd, wherever she goes. Height is 9’5’’
Shelia: A Kushala Daora from the far north, Shelia is a bare-knuckle fighter with some anger issues. Shelia, despite being an Elder Dragon, is not a noble, and was once a bit of a recluse before she joined up with Madeline and Elizabeth. While she generally keeps to herself still, she is more open now. Shelia typically lives in a series of caves that she rebuilt into her home, featuring everything she needs. For money, she often helps deal with a variety of local issues, such as capturing criminals or dealing with monsters. Height is 9’
Cao: A Lao-Shan Lung from a distant land, Cao is a trained sorcerer and a pacifist. Extremely old, at around 1000 years old, Cao often has a lot of good advice to give to others. He lives in a mansion upon the top of a hill, where he conducts his experiments and meets with guests. The reason he left his homeland is unknown, though he does not appear to feel ill will towards it. His kindness and wiseness has made him well respected across the lands. Height is 20’
(NSFW note: Cao is capable of shifting his genitals from male to female at will, though no other parts change. This is a personal choice, apparently related to breeding.)
Luce: Luce is a warrior on a hunt for revenge. Her parents were murdered by raiders in an attack on her village, and her father defended her but died. She took his weapon, and began a hunt for the killers, eventually getting the support of the Duke. Along the way she also met Kenneth (the Safi), who teamed up with her to help her (also because he wanted a friend). Luce is around the age of 34 (young for a Lunagaron, who often live to around 150). She is 6’5’’ tall.
Madeline: Mizutsune Mistress of a high class brothel, Madeline is courteous. While she now provides a safe sex work environment for her boys and girls, Madeline is also an entertainer herself, as well as an ex-adventurer. Though she no longer needs it, she retains her masterfully made Longsword, Songbird (Mizu longsword). Friends with Elizabeth, same party.
Madeline is the propertior and owner of a very high-class brothel within the Duke’s lands. It does not exclusively serve the rich and powerful, mind; anyone who can pay is allowed, so long as they follow the (very strict rules). The brothel also acts as a public house, so it sells more than sex (in fact most of the money comes from the food and drink, as the workers retain nearly all the pay from their sex work). Anyone who assaults, harasses or harms a worker is met with the Duke’s wrath, and the full hand of the law.
Madeline founded the brothel after encountering some terrible brothels during her adventuring days, alongside Lady Elizabeth. She founded the brothel with her riches from those in order to provide a safe working place for workers.
She does also engage in sex work too, though it’s rare. Normally, she runs the brothel. Madeline is 50 years old. She is 8’5’’ tall.
Kenneth: By far one of the youngest elder dragons in Egelvalia, Kenneth only morphed into a Safi’jiiva at the age of 119 - he is now 124. While he is young and a bit inexperienced, Kenneth is an amazingly powerful fighter and a skilled tactician and inventor, designing and building his own custom Light Bowgun. Kenneth is good friends with Luce, and has known her for four years; despite that, the two are fire-forged friends who are practically inseparable: all the more surprising, considering Kenneth’s snarky, casual personality is very much at odds with Luce’s serious, stoic personality. He is 6’5’’, short for an Elder Dragon.
Andre: An albino Valstrax famed for his racing skills, Andre is somewhat of an odd one out. Skilled at racing other Valstraxes and relatively confident, Andre can also be shockingly socially reclusive. In part, this stems from some bad experiences in the past with friends who betrayed him, though Andre has had years to get over these issues and feels more confident now. For an Elder Dragon he’s of relatively young age, around 150. He is 7’
Umbra: A Zoh Shia who heralds from the old and ruined lands of Wyveria, Umbra is infamous as the Dark Knight, or the Black Harbinger. Umbra has a dark, terrible past, having been involved in the calamitous atrocity that destroyed Wyveria, though she now seeks redemption. She still struggles deeply with her past acts and failures, and has chosen to forever cast off the white crystals that once covered her body, as atonement. She is around 600 years old, though spent around 100 of those dormant in the Dragontorch. She is 13’ tall.
Umbra is unfortunate enough to have two “sisters” (technically as constructs they are not related, but they are the only three Zoh Shias in existence). One still possesses the white crystals, while the other is missing them. The white one goes by Amida, while the black one goes by Nox.
Nyx: An Abyssal Lagiacrus from the deep sea, Nyx is large and motherly. One of the kindest people in Egelvalia, Nyx splits her time between land and sea, though she has become friends with many on land and not just those in the sea. Nyx wishes to become a mother, though she has not gotten the chance yet. She is around 12’ tall.
Wintermute: A Jin Dahaad from the far north,Wintermute is a recluse, only recently beginning to become more open. Despite his relative isolation, caused by his intense introversion (a common trait of Jin Dahaads), he is friendly, though very shy. Wintermute enjoys exercising, resulting in him having a very refined and chiselled physique. He is around 15’ tall.
Sir Wildstone: A retainer to Lady Elizabeth, Wildstone is a skilled knight. Known for his skill with a zweihander, Wildstone was initially recruited as a master of arms following his retirement from fighting in battles, though he now acts as a bodyguard and occasional paramour to his Lady. The two of them are highly effective together in combat, especially considering Elizabeth’s own skill. Wildstone is about middle aged at around 80, for a Rey Dau anyway. He is around 8’ tall.
Valerie: A Viper Tobi-Kadachi who works as a bartender and prositute at Madeline’s brothel/pub/inn. Flirty and lively, she often wears rather revealing clothing, greatly enjoying every element of her work. Around 7’ tall.
The Warrior: The Warrior: Fatalis MILF. Non-binary, wears armor. The Warrior is the very same Fatalis who spurred Umbra to destroy Wyveria, though they had no involvement in Castle Scheruade’s infamous destruction. They don’t really seem to seek much of anything, however, even violence; the Warrior seems repentant, though they are not exactly the talking type.
Currently the Duke, Elizabeth, Shelia, Umbra, Valerie, Kenneth and Luce have art.
