You guys are so damn supportive and everything (commissioners, you have been mega patient why am i so lucky for you guys!! ;w;)

I can't wait to finish my queue! I really want to start digging into animation again, and now that the PCD is wearing off from MFF and my car issues are somewhat more under control (lets say, i know what needs to be fixed now and the car is drivable) I feel i have time again to work on getting this queue out. I wouldn't be surprised if I only opened for a illustration or custom Dutchie design here and there, or just YCHs, while I work on this animation thing.

I have a fucking. degree. and i haven't applied myself at all, i think College really burned me out, like for real, made me loose my passion and interest. MFF helped me with that so much though. I even bought watercolors [gasp, TRADITIONAL] i'm going to suck at them but HERE WE GO. lmao

anyway i just wanted a journal to puke some things out, i seriously appreciate every watcher I get, especially when I gain 10+ whenever i post something. IT MAKES ME FEEL ALL FUZZY. ;w; I love every comment i get.

If you're part of the Dutchie community, you guys are awesome. Seriously so nice and supportive i love you guys! :D And in the next few months I /might/ get some very interesting news about Nimbus's suit :)))))

And anyone who watches me but has no interest in Dutchies, you guys are equally as awesome.

Since Windows 10, Sai and Yiynova updated, I've had nothing but issues.

Thankfully after days I got it to a point i can use it. The only issue now is that I can no use the stablizer, which is the thing I use to make clean lineart for most of my commissions. (Flat and shaded artwork) So I can sketch and color and shade, but that's it. I have tried so hard to get this to work but I just can't.. there is some sort of compatibility issue between SAI and my Tablet.

So, as I don't know if/when this will be fixed, if you have commissioned me for art that requires clean lineart I am willing to change it so something of equal value. Same concept, just the output will be different!
So if you got a flat color from me, if you'd like I can do a shaded sketch. I'll do my best to still do a cleanish outline, I just wont have the same finishing look.

If you're getting a shaded piece of art from me, I'd be willing to try a background, or give you an additional sketch.

Or, if you're okay with me using regular lines (like those in my illustrations) let me know, I can just do that!

I can still do illustrations, since that does not require that tool! <3

I want to offer this, until I get this worked out. If you're comfortable with waiting that is fine to! Just note me if you wish to make the change <3
I am of course willing to discuss refunds if need-be, I'd hate to do that but I'm not sure what else to do at this point. I don't want to deliver work that is different then my other art.

I got it to work on a duel screen somehow but now I can not get SAI to work properly. Which is how i do all my clean lineart. I feel terrible not being able to work on commissions ;w; I'm reinstalling everything and trying again and again to fix it!

So there might be a delay in commission for awhile, it appears that Windows 10, Sai and my Tablet driver all updated and its not working right together ;; (I haven't expressed my pure hatred for 10 enough...)

I got happy there was all these updates because it appears I can work in TVPaint now! But not SAI =/


I'll post my issue here and see if anyone will be able to suggest possible fixes.

When I draw in SAI (and only SAI btw) I run into one of two issues:

Issue 1:
- The curser is completely offset from the pen. I have tried to go into that notepad file to change the wacom settings, it changes to offset but doesn't fit it.

Issue 2:
- the pen lags. It either doesn't respond at all to a stroke or it glitches and causes a "dot" at the beginning of each stroke.


Any suggestions at all I would be greatly appreciative ;;

Edit: for now I can change it from a duel-screen to just my tablet and it seems to work fine. Infuriating though >:(

So I took a big step today and got a bird!

It took a lot of thinking and running around local pet stores (and very very heavy support from Stormy) to finally find the bird I would take home!
We went to the original store to look at their birds again but none of them really clicked with me, some where really adorable and had great personalities so I think they'll quickly go to good homes. On the way back home we did stop at a few stores, the first one had no animals, the second one had only parakeets, but the third they had one single normal color Green Cheek Conure. he was a tiny older, but immediately came to the cage to greet me and when we took him out he made these cute little chirps! When we took him home and put him in his new cage, he couldn't be happier! He has a lot of new toys to play with and twice as much space to talk around in <3 He's very happy!

I was able to buy the conure, toys and a new cage because of all the commissions! So I want to thank you guys for making not only me, but this bird, very happy!! <3

So with that, commissions are currently CLOSED. I accepted a lot over the weekend, and I will be working hard on finishing those up!

I am opening for all kinds of commissions for the next three days! The reason for this is because I have recently decided I wanted a bird!~ Specifically a Green Cheek Conure <3 I told them I'd be back in 3 days to look at their other conures since the one I had held was extremely friendly and social!

I'm hoping that they will have just a normal green check next time, because I love their feathers but we'll see!

Anyway, my goal is to reach around $400 for the bird and supplies! Possibly $500 for a perch and everything. I don't intend on making this much but it will definitely help with the costs.

After spending days looking and re-reading everyones submissions I finally picked a winner for the Draw to Adopt I held!

It was not easy in the slightest, I really loved everyones submissions and different depictions everything had for the character. Its obvious everyone put a lot of time into their submissions, so it was extremely difficult to choose who would be best to own the character.

So I have finally decided that  Nachtrae gets to take the design home!

They put a lot of effort in both the questions and art, and really showed that they wanted this character a lot!
I loved the art that accompanied the submission, there is incredible amount of detail to everything and the character itself. I love the perspective of the background and the temple idea, as well as details with the feathers/fur and plant-life. They also had a very in-depth story that I felt personally represented the character very well even represents the species in a way, being 'guardians' and spirits. I especially liked the addition of the monk character.

Like I said, I loved lots of things from everyones submissions, but there could only be one new owner! I appreciate everyone who took the time to answer, and I am more than thankful for the amount of interest this character got.  Nachtrae please take good care of Pakay! I look forward to any art you post in the future <3

Since the moving dates where switched up I am unable to access my computer to throughly go get the entries. I have a snow leopard tail, can provide pictures on request. Its double stitched, long (32cm i think? I'm 5' 9" and it just hangs above the ground) and pretty sturdy. But its fairly used and the color, which is spray painted, is a bit faded. Note me an offer on this one, again spent $60-$80 on it but this is VERY used so I don't expect much at all, but figured it would be a cheap buy for someone who doesn't have furry-items :3 (alsopayforshipping ;3)

In a week I'll be moving to a new place, and for the next week I'll try and focus getting commissions done. And I do not intend on opening for commissions the same way I have for the past year.

I will need money, at some point. So I will probably open up for slots at a few times, but far and in between, I think.

I also intend on doing adopts (Specifically Dutch Angel Dragons) and YCH's! LOTS OF YCH'S i fucking love those.

But mostly, I want to spend time on my own personal animations. I need a job, and I haven't done anything and I need to work on that now more than ever. But there is always room for personal and gift art too <3 (Also trades!)

I can't wait for next week! :D

One week from tomorrow, I will be moving to NC with my friends! ;w;

I've already started to sort and pack my stuff, trying to throw away as much as I can that I don't need...

but, I want to spend the next week focused on finishing my commissions, without the worry of taking on more. But I wanted to give a few people the chance to snag a commission if they wanted one, but I'll say that it wont get done until after the move.


i'll make a journal when I official close with my ideas of what i'll offer when I finish my current queue and how to get art from me in the future.

I'm moving on June 11th, which is earlier than I had expected, but my friend offered to come and help me pack up at a much earlier time!

I don't really want to close commissions since I wont have a job right away but i'll use that time to catch up on my queue as much as possible before and after the move,

After I move and get caught up on my queue, i will be offering YCH's and stuff! I might open for slots if I really need the money for something, as some unexpected things have come up, it'll cost a grand to fix the rust on my car, and another $150 to fix a filling in a tooth :C but i still have money saved up! So I guess I just gotta see where I will be when all said is done.

I appreciate everyone who has commissioned and commented and followed and everything, it's helped me so much and it means a lot! <3 I can't wait to move, it'll be such a better atmosphere to be with friends! They have seriously helped me out so much just by doing this and continue to do so and I can't be more thankful ;w;
