Expect a slowdown for this month!

About Me (I Guess?)
Posted 10 years agoHello FA, I figured I might as well leave a "decent" journal/FAQ for a change and blah blah blah. As I type this I am listening to this.
So let's break this down in categories!
So here's the dealio, I've been told by a few people that I get a lot of commissions and that I spend too much on 'em at times, well... Rather than breaking down my entire budget to everyone and explaining how I get away with getting some art (or how much I get paid) I'll just say this. I once had roommates that were eating at an additional $500 of my income every month, $500 * 12 = $6000, I have yet to even spend that much on my work. ;D
I am a saver/frugal kind of guy so any "concerns" about how much I spend should not really be said, though you will never see me spend $1000+ on a YCH or anything unless it comes included with multiple poses or something. Song transition to this.
Now, let's step away from the money talk and go for how the poses are thought up. What I do is I talk to my boyfriends about us getting a commission and we spend about 30 minutes going "UGH, NO, LET'S GET THIS DRAWN INSTEAD" and eventually we get something that sticks.
Novus724 is the one who looks up the poses while 
C-Jen is the one who scans things for any anatomical errors on the reference.
When we get a WIP we all talk about how it looks so far and what needs to be changed, the usual errors involve Novus724 character since mine is simpler in comparison.
Also, like it says on my main profile page, I only get commissions with the same couple of people, because, well... It's reserved for my boyfriends and close friends, duh?
There are times that you will see me get art from the same artists over and over, I try to give everyone a chance to get one unless I /really/ want it (I'm looking at you
lockworkorange ) What I do to help them out is cover any costs for the transaction and along with that I have an end of the year type of bonus thing set up for 2015.
Time for a piece has never, and never will be, an issue for me as long as there is communication, without any sort of communication how am I supposed to know that you didn't just run off and take my money? :P
There are times when I'm nitpicky and I do apologize in advance for this, I just like having things turn out just right and if there's an anatomical issue you can be sure it'll be pointed out. With coloring it's the same thing and same with patterns, I never try to correct a style though.
The profile doesn't lie, I'm a small business banker for one of the big four (retail banking), it's nothing extravagant. This may change this or next year though since the position is being "transitioned away".
Nothing at all, the hell is fun? :P
In all honesty I find myself binge watching Netflix/Hulu/Youtube, I'm not super outgoing since I find being around new people to be kind of exhausting, not because I dislike 'em or anything it's just an introvert thing! (Ironic to some, I know!)
At times I get on Steam and chat with people, I try to use Skype at times but the layout for it looks terrible and it frustrates me. Song has changed to this now.
I do play Smash with C-Jen but he kicks my butt usually, I would do online more if the input delay wasn't so terrible.
No, go away.
Honestly? I'm planning on leaving California the moment my job "dies out", not sure where I will go since Novus, CJen and myself still haven't explored options outside of California and Texas, I'll be using the conventions I'll be attending an excuse to check certain areas out.
Yes, Rainfurrest and Midwest FurFest, I don't really feel up for going to a California based convention since most of my friends go to the ones that I just mentioned.
