Posted 2 years agoI decided to try a new pricelist based on time instead of artwork type.
It works very well for me, but I want to see if it is convenient for customers, too. As for now, it is published on my secondary page (Aeschna) only.
FORMULA: $15 (preparation stage and sketch) + $15/hour (coloring stage)
You just pay for the time I spend on your commission. It can be anything from a close up shot to a full scene with background, SFW or NSFW, a simple colored sketch or a highly detailed art.
It works very well for me, but I want to see if it is convenient for customers, too. As for now, it is published on my secondary page (Aeschna) only.

Here are the most important changes:
• New commission types:
◦ Soft-shaded style — perfect for reference sheets.
◦ Speedpaints — artworks with a 3-hour time limit.
• New pricelist for Digital Paintings: changed it to more commonly used categories of Bust, Half body, Full body, and Illustration.
• A change to Terms of Service: I used to work with 100% payment up front, but now the payment is required only after a sketch is approved by the client.

"Fa's Forest" — graphic novel in the process :]
Posted 3 years agoOkay, I think I am ready to properly announce it. My work on the original graphic novel.

"Fa's Forest" is a pilot chapter/backstory for my graphic novel.
The graphic novel itself is a huge complicated project, so I decided to make a pilot chapter as a way to figure out all the technical and artistic means.
Besides, the main story still haven't found it's conclusion. It will take some time. Better for me to be ready.
"Fa's Forest" is more like a practice piece, but I hope to make it nice-looking and captivating :]
What is it about?
It is not easy for me to explain.
On the surface level, it may be about weird beings in a weird place. About Fa, a stranger who tries to find meaning and sense around, and change everything for the better.
It may be about unusual perception of the world. Or about being troublesome and lonely.
About what is expected and what is not.
"Fa's Forest" will have around 25-30 full-color double pages, with an intention to have it printed as a book one day (even if it will be just a few copies).

The most important thing: now I am using Boosty for the payments.
Boosty is a Patreon-like service which was made for creators with Russian-speaking audiences. It was around for quite a long time, it's not something new.
Now it is the most easy and (relatively) reliable way for Russian creators to get paid. Boosty accepts PayPal and bank card payments.
