Where I have been…

I have been… not very creatively active lately. I started a drawing and died on it when it cake to background and some shading.
Besides, I spend what feels like most of my time at work, and try to rest at home. In between I fiddled with some other projects, with various successes.
I finally got my protogen as a VR-Chat character, and had to put quite some effort in blender and Unity to get everything working as I wanted it. I even managed to optimise it to the point I could use it as a fallback!
My dragon fursona is also in the game now, although I kinda died on finalising it.
Then I went into retro gaming again, which I am currently stuck waiting on parts because while constantly upgrading my retro PC for that one game (Dungeon Lords) to play in a playable framerate, I accidentally killed the mainboard…
So yeah… next up is the Nordic Fuzz Con, which will also be my first vacation since the end of August lasz year! (Thanks to many colleagues quitting their job we at work ended up super low staffed, and the better part of my next vacation is still fed by vacation days from last year)

Posted 2 years agoI may or may not just have bought an very good condition used Apple iPad Pro 2021 and an Apple pencil, mostly for drawing... I heard that it is better than even Wacom tablets, I am currently using a Huion Kamvas 12 Pro, which has it's weaknesses. One is being impresise, the second having a weak pencil, the third that it need it's own special cable, which is currently tied to my desktop.
Now, an iPad is a stand alone device - which highly improves portability. My hope is that it counteracts my laziness to go from my couch to my Desktop, and also avoids strangeling myself in the big fat cable of my Huion drawing tablet (which I also bought a replacement cable and poweraddapter for, in the hope that I DONT buy an iPad).
Oh well, there go another 700 bucks...
In addition to that, I also replaced my old ugly secondary screen with a new 16:10 one. Difference like day and night!
I am bad in handling my money....
Now, an iPad is a stand alone device - which highly improves portability. My hope is that it counteracts my laziness to go from my couch to my Desktop, and also avoids strangeling myself in the big fat cable of my Huion drawing tablet (which I also bought a replacement cable and poweraddapter for, in the hope that I DONT buy an iPad).

A little update and a little rant, I guess
Posted 2 years agoWell, not much happening on my side here…The reason for that is, that I am spending all my time and energy on attempting to build a fursuit… Yes, in deed… It’s interesting, half a year ago I didn’t even knew if I am a Furry, and now…
On a different note, I am pretty much constantly burning out… now it happens again, and that while doing something that I want to do… why is this happening? Why am I so weak that I break even doing my hobbies? I don’t get it…
I currently have some holidays, soon they will be over again, and then I can have “fun” again in my workplace. An I already know that a horribly unfun task is waiting on me, as I am the chosen one for special tasks… (suffering from success, I guess). But fair enough, most of my college wouldn’t be able to do sh*t like that anyways, since they are all pretty incompetent…
So, what you are interested in: Artworks; there will be some, but not the next time I guess… Sorry.
Hang on, people, take care of yourself better than I usually do. For me, I am just kinda hopeless… but I will bite my way through, and eventually stuff will work out, hopefully…
