Happy All Saints Day (a Christian observation) which ....
Posted a week ago.... Though I don't take part in , I do acknowledge the day
(Church services, praying for the dead, visiting cemeteries)
I do pray for my relatives & others who have died but I won't set aside a specific day to do it
When I go to church isn't determined by the calendar
Depending on the weather (& my mood) is when I will go to visit a cemetery not religious doctrine
As to the calling it Feast of All Saints or Feast of All Hallow -> one might think that somebody would bring attention to that when some so called religious protectors start protesting Halloween every year
Also called
All Hallows' Day
Hallowmas
Allhallowmas
Feast of All Saints
Feast of All Hallows
Solemnity of All Saints

Serious Question, serious question, Serious Question
Posted 3 months agoThis might sound to some like a snarky question but it is in fact a serious question
I'm having trouble knowing how much this actually means
If you're told to leave the past in the past what exactly does that mean
in the past I've been told not to do certain things & then more recently I've been told that advice back then was wrong & I actually should do those things now
OR how in the past I've been told that I should do certain things & then more recently I've been told that advice back then was wrong & I actually shouldn't do those things now
