I apologize again for not realizing certain things

This might sound to some like a snarky question but it is in fact a serious question

I'm having trouble knowing how much this actually means

If you're told to leave the past in the past what exactly does that mean

in the past I've been told not to do certain things & then more recently I've been told that advice back then was wrong & I actually should do those things now
OR how in the past I've been told that I should do certain things & then more recently I've been told that advice back then was wrong & I actually shouldn't do those things now

The journal was more about marvel comics/movies

But the question at the bottom
about one universe inserting it's values on another was about Star Trek DS9
(& the possiblity that had something to do with us now having 3 S.T. universes & 3 different Mr. Spocks)

Which has me thinking

Would an artist recognize their art/story if other artists/story tellers pushed (or put) it through the lens of the multiverse ?

Who likes the stories of multiverse characters traveling between universes & inserting their universes values on the other universe ?

is there a kind of social status concerning the construction of ones fursuit

Category - material ?

and

Category -- how old/aged the fursuit is/looks ? (as in making the fursuit look vintage or of an old anthro character? )
