Amazing what you stumble upon when you are googling white shark images. Yes, about 10 years ago I created this web site, back when I was a sophmore in High School I created this web page dedicated to Great White Sharks. Amazing, this was all before I got into furry, but back then when I chatted with fellow white shark fans online I pretended to be a white shark. Oh yea, that is right, I did take a vacation earlier in the month, while the rest of you seemingly were at AC. While I rather did miss being there with you guys, thus my 3 year streak coming to an end, it turned out for the better to be in Colorado where I did get to see my grandma in the last few days of her life. So certainly no regrets on that part, and I shall make my long awaited AC return next year. Until then, you guys can check me out at MFF this year, as it looks like I need to start planning for that con.

Oh yea, the vacation. In a nutshell, was pretty nice. Went out to the gator farm on Friday nite, spent the other nights hanging out with Atak and Shadownightclaw, watched the fourth of July fireworks, etc. And yes I will eventually post pictures and video clips onto YouTube at some point this week, hopefully. I have a new work schedule that involves me not working weekends anymore, but my nights won't be as long. Either way, I'll get to those clips eventually, unless there is no high demand for them.

Thanks to those who responded with condonlences with my grandma's recent passing on this past Sunday. I will be going out to Goodland, KS for the funeral service this Friday, so will be out of town from Thursday until Monday. Then when I return I can finally tell y'all about the vacation I had earlier in July.

Has been great and sometimes not so great, but I'll give more detail later on. Will just say this much, the gator farm I went to in Colorado on Friday > anything else in life. Greetings, esteemed people who read my LJ and/or FA. Have a very safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend, get out and eat some BBQ or pay tribute to the fallen soldiers over time, or whatever it is that you deem necessary. This month has gone by incredibly fast, but here are the summer plans that I know of:

June 9 - Going to Council Bluffs, Iowa for an indy wrestling show
June 15 - To Mayetta, KS for yet another indy wrestling event.
Plan to play through Chrono Trigger throughout the month, now that I Have completed Mario RPG. Damn that game is short and easy.

July 4 - 9 Back home to WaKeeney for fourth of July, then heading out to Colorado to visit TJ and Josh, heading to a gator farm down here (http://www.gatorfarm.com) and to say hi to relatives in Ft. Collins.

August 7th - Hatchday, turn 26 years old, Pina Colada....um, tiger is dropping by that week.

May or may not move to a different apartment in the last week of July, won't know for sure in about a week, but it looks more likely I stay in this current place in lawrence.

For some reason, I want to move to Des Moines, Iowa, but it may not happen for another year at the least. Maryland would be alright too.

Last weekend was fantastic. Went to Worlds of Fun in KC with Dragox Dugles, was great because it was a company picnic so I didn't pay anything for the carnival. Didn't go on too many rides because I'm not a roller coaster type person, just the atmosphere of the place is enough to make me happy and what not. Had two employees at the place try to guess my age, one said 22, and the other said 36. WTF?!!!! Do I really look like I am 36?!

This week I have generally been lazy, what can I say. Oh, bought new glasses, been playing Super Mario RPG on emulator, and got a haircut, that is about the shortest one I've had in years.

Many people may notice that I haven't been on instant messengers recently as I used to be. The reason is simply this: I'm bored of instant messengers like I never have been before. Seriously, I log on to IMs and try to have interesting conversations with anyone who cares to talk to me, but it often feels like I am saying the same ol thing that I said yesterday, 2 months ago, a year ago, etc. Maybe about a week away from them will make me care more, but its just not that fun anymore. Sowwy.

Well, its about time I get to updating this thing, as there are some things I want to discuss, some good, some bad. First, teh good:

Past month of March was awesome, furry wise. Got to see Miroku for a fantastic day, hung out with Scotch, Rodent, Killrez, and Kaltren at Des Moines last weekend, and then on Wednesday got to see Sharky and his family when they visited Topeka, KS. Its certainly good to see so many furs outside of a con these days, and thats a good thing, because...

on the bad, I won't be at AC this year. Yea, it does suck, for I've gone to the con for 3 years in a row now, have nothing but good memories(ok thats kind of a lie, there are a couple of bad ones, but its mainly been good), but this year, I have a lack of paid vacation days due to a wedding to attend, insurance is getting to be more expensive, and a couple of other matters involved that makes attending this con perhaps not a good decision for the long run. Though I still plan to be at MFF, so y'all can catch me there if you can make it. ^_^'
