Anthrocon 2014 & Updates!

So as many of you know, I hand out those free glowsticks during the dances at night, a few here have helped me hand them out. This year, I will still be handing them out, Although I must limit 2 per person. You'll be lucky if you get more than that depending on what is going on for that night. Specialty glowies like, RWB I will have on the 4th, Those technically will be 1 per person due to they are more expensive than the solid colors.
I will say, In my arsenal of Glow Sticks, I am bringing back the bracelets, the past 2 years I have not had bracelets. Only necklaces's and limited quantity of 6" glow sticks.
My numbers for last year were Exactly 2,000 total. With limited of 50 American Flag Glowhawks to celebrate the 4th of July.
This year, My numbers are greater than 2,000 which will not be announced on how many till the first dance takes place. I will say I limit a number of how many i have per night, and the last night for the dances usually has the most. Last year, it went, 300, 700, 1,000. This year will be a specific limit on the nights, I still have to map it out.
I would also like to say that I will have a limited number of wrap around RGB (LED 3-Mode Flash) sunglasses to support the theme of secretness but with a fun flashy style for at night. Most likely it will be a limited number between 25 - 50.
Last but not least,
The two room slots I had are now filled.
And Finally, I am doing all this for the fun and Enjoyment.

If you are interested Please note me. My reservation is from the 2nd to the 7th @ 220 Per person. (Only 4 people in the room, nothing more).
For others interested, the Glow stick order has and still is being ordered for the fun times @ Night @ The dances.
Other than that, I have been extremely busy and will stay like that until the convention time arrives and I get the fuck out of florida to drive up there xD

If you've been to the dances and have seen a fursuiter with the head off with a giant box of glowies. That would be me =)

Updates, Glowsticks & Anthrocon 2014
Posted 11 years agoActually, that updates part is a lie, but i like to think of it as a pie. Here is some stuff on what I be doing for AC 2014 like i have done at past Anthrocons!
Anthrocon 2014 is slowly rolling around making its way here and I am starting to look into what i been doing every year. And that is, Buying glow sticks.
Thats right, that guy you see during the dances at night with a giant box off in the seating area, usually down the main isle to the dance floor / stage, I'm that guy.
Many of you know, Last year, i had 2000 glow sticks i gave away for free. Ontop of a few other goodies for the 4th of July.
This year, I plan on doing it again and for the coming years as well.
However, I will say, those fun glow things do cost money which some people think they are entitled to the whole box. Last year, I had a couple of people literally try and take handfuls, which i do not allow. In fact, I won't give you any if you try that shit. I do this because its fun and makes others happy and enjoy the music much much more.
Last year, I had help from a friend, which made giving these out much easier, others joined in. Even had Giza, (https://www.anthrocon.org/user/2/giza) <-- That guy, Get up on stage and give some of the rainbow necklaces to the DJs on stage which was just mad awesome.
So for this year, I'm planning on, maybe a little over 2,000. However remember that part i said that these cost money? I'm going to open up for donations, keep in mind, this is the First Time I have ever opened up for donations on this.
Just a small disclaimer and other thingies about donating:
All money goes towards Glow sticks. None is kept.
You are not buying them from me.
You are donating to help me buy them to give out at the Anthrocon 2014 Dances.
I do not reserve or give special treatment to anyone. I have to limit the give out ratio to two per person. Due to the shear size of Anthrocon on how large it has gotten.
You do not have to donate to receive glow sticks at Anthrocon by me, Fizzy Fox.
I would like to say, donations are gladly excepted. If you wish to have your name posted and be recognized for your awesomeness I can do that, which is very honoring =) or you can remain anonymous =P
Again, you do not have to donate, you are not buying anything and no one is forcing you to do it. It is just very much appreciated if you do have an extra dollar laying around :)

Back from Elliots Fall Festival!

testement2008 yesterday and headed off to a grand adventure only to find myself here right now back at home typing this out.
Words cannot describe how fucking awesome last night was. I had a fucking blast. Talked to a lot of people. Only remember a few names here and there.

Fursuited for quite abit of time. That was a ton of fun, especially trying to play Super smash bros on the wii or w/e that system is now.

Great, Got charged from some random website 90 some odd dollars as I was going to pay something VIA paypal that I owed to an artist. But No. Some fucking company decided to fuck me over. Contacted them, They redirected me to their billing merchant, billing merchant redirected me to another billing company. The second billing merchant doesn't have anything on me and redirected me back to the other saying that they lied to me and its like OHFUCKINGJOY! WHAT A LOVELY FUCKING DAY IT HAS BEEN!
Contacted bank. They helped me quite abit, Calling their Fraud Support and Claims tomorrow to get this fucker canned. I don't even know what I was charged for. But get this! It said in my email that an account has been reactivated. But reactivated to what?!? For real? Wtf. "This email" "From said Company" was legit. But heres the problem, I don't know the sign in info. So its like LOL I don't know the security code to reset the password. So yeah. FanFuckingTastic day!

Last Shipment and Glowsticking and Anthrocon!
Posted 12 years agoSo I have my last shipment coming in on Wednesday.
It will round me of to 2000 even on Glow Sticks. I have ordered 100 6" sticks. 150 Rainbow Necklaces (So those are limited supply) and 400 Red White and Blue necklaces to Celebrate the 4th of july. Thats not counting the 1500 Solid Colored Necklaces.
I will have a small LED Sign with me this year. I will be limiting the glow to 2 necklaces per person so everyone gets a fair share. I have had people in the past try and take entire handfulls and that results in them not getting any. I do NOT enjoy that happening. You are not fucking special to take a handfull of 20+. These are free and they are limited.
If someone finds this to be unfair well, go buy your own then. I normally drop at least $600 in this.
Some find me crazy, others are greatful. I do it for the enjoyment and to see others smile =)
Anyhow, who is psyched about going this year?
I know I am!
It will round me of to 2000 even on Glow Sticks. I have ordered 100 6" sticks. 150 Rainbow Necklaces (So those are limited supply) and 400 Red White and Blue necklaces to Celebrate the 4th of july. Thats not counting the 1500 Solid Colored Necklaces.
I will have a small LED Sign with me this year. I will be limiting the glow to 2 necklaces per person so everyone gets a fair share. I have had people in the past try and take entire handfulls and that results in them not getting any. I do NOT enjoy that happening. You are not fucking special to take a handfull of 20+. These are free and they are limited.
If someone finds this to be unfair well, go buy your own then. I normally drop at least $600 in this.
Some find me crazy, others are greatful. I do it for the enjoyment and to see others smile =)

Spent 24 hours in a Hospital
Posted 12 years agoI went to the ER early sunday morning at 5 AM EST. I can only put it like this, I stared death in the face twice now. I thought I was going to suffocate to death. But I did not.
Heres how it all started.
Friday night I came down with a soar throat, thought nothing of it. Come Saturday it was a little bit worse. Around 4pm I took some throat spray, it numbed my throat for about 20 min then it just got worse from there. Around 9pm I was spinning records for a minecraft server I play on in Mumble with VDJ and VAC and my top lip started to swell, I instantly killed the decks and left, some people in there were worried. I ran to check in the mirror, sure enough my top lip did swell up like a balloon. Not only that, it felt like my feet turned to glass, it was very fucking painful to walk.
My parents got home around 9:45 pm and said if it got worse they would take me to the doctor in the morning. So I said ok.
Around 11:30 One of my best friends told me just to call an ambulance and go to the hospital, me being stubborn I didn't and tried to go to bed. I was tossing and turning all night till about 4am. Where I just could not take it anymore. My bottom lip swelled up even bigger than my top, my tongue was swollen as well. My eyes started to swell, By the time we left the house I could bearly see out my right eye. My hands every time I touched something It felt like I was putting my hands through meat grinders, oh god the fucking pain.
We get to the hospital and I was rushed off to the ER, I was asked so many questions I could not comprehend what was going on cause I was on the edge of not being able to breath. The doctor shoved the person asking questions out of the room as they were starting to stick me with needles. They had to switch from my right arm to my left as I started to lose it, throwing up, dizziness lightheaded. I Thought I wasn't literally going to make it at this point, All I could hear the nurse saying was "are you all right!" she said it about 7 or 8 times and I just could not respond except my hand gestures. They finally get the needles in my right hand and left arm, pumped me with meds and everything started to calm down. The doc put me on oxygen and Thank God I was able to breath.
At this point being around 6am I was moved to a room where I got to stay for a full 24 hours while they monitored me. I got to meet someone new, The guy was around his 90's but still kickin like a mule, we talked abit before we both got hit up by Benadryl which was nice to be put to sleep for some time.
During the day on Sunday, I was not allowed to eat anything and I can understand why. I was hooked up to an I.V. and was still on the oxygen. Towards 5pm my mom came to stay with me for a few hours. We watched Pineapple Express on the T.V. and they let me have ice tips to chew on. Granted Ice tips is not food, but frozen water. It was still nice to have. Around 6pm (Sunday) I was shot up again and went to sleep, So I only got to see an hour of the movie, but it was hilarious on what I did get to see.
So around 8AM Monday (Today) I woke up and the doctor came in. Asked me a few questions and all I could say was Thankyou, I feel like a new man today. He said how about some breakfast and I said I can't wait!
I got around to ordering breakfast and I was able to get, Cheerios, Scrambled eggs, 2 strips of bacon, 2 pancakes, a small fruit cup and 2 orange juice cups. It was mad delicious.
My mom showed up around 10am. The nurse started filling out the discharge papers as well as getting my prescriptions from the doctor. I was discharged from the hospital around 11:30 AM.
I'm doing a lot better than what I have the past couple of days. I will say this has been a life changing experience. I am changing my eating habits. I am going to start working out lightly and get myself on the correct path.
I will say this, If you ever have something like this happen to you, DO NOT Procrastinate like I did. I was at the edge of life and death laying down in the ER.

Its that time of year again!
Posted 12 years agoWhere I start picking out the styles of glowsticks for Anthrocon. In the next 5 weeks or so, I will begin ordering them. As many of you know, I DO NOT CHEAP OUT on them. I buy Quality anda large Quantity of them.
Last year I brought in 1500 Glowsticks. Picked out so many per night untill the final night. Being the largest croud on the final night, you need a ton. Spand out over the nights it was 300 for the first night, 300 the second night. Then 800 the final night, WITH 100 to spare for the dead dog dance.
This year, I'm planning to do that again, Maybe get custom logos done to the Glowsticks themselves. I need to figure around with pricing. I doubt I'll go for custom logos SINCE we are in a DARK DARK ROOM with lasers, lights, loud music and fog. No one would pay any attention to what it says. Its more like FLAIL around with arms up and party!
Anyhow, I am going to try for a new number of glowsticks this year, Every year since 2010 I have been bringing them, Number increasing each time. But as SOME of you know, It is a real Kick in the teeth. I normally don't release On what the cost is, But in this case, I will. Last year Not including shipping was about $634. With shipping it was another 40 dollars more.
However Some people may ask, What do you do with all these? Simple. I usually find 1 - 2 people willing to donate their time to help hand them out during the Dances at night. It is NOT hard to find us seeing as we are usually stationed on a set of chairs with a box or 2 and a ton of glow-tubes. Breaking them open in the air. Its quite hard to miss us unless you have your head down.
Anyhow, IF you like what I do and Feel Inclined to help donate to this my paypal is FizzyFox2007[at]yahoo.com
Remember, This is a donation, No one is forcing you to pay. Its out there if you want. Remember, I do this out of the kindness of me to supply all these. So everyone can have fun. I have fun doing this. Some find it a waste of money, I find it to be a fun enhancing tool during night.

Well anyhow I got guild wars 2 to cancel out world of failcraft, MoP you ruined it!
Been playing on minecraft quite abit, on a server www.awnw.net Its a very fun and friendly server.
Also, Been updating alot of things in Second Life, The Anthrocon Replica I made, I been updating the lightsystems and so far its turning out fantastic.
And Last but not least, Anthrocon 2013, Who the FUCK is READY! I cannot wait. I have special suprises in store for the Dances! For those of you who already know, I give out glowsticks. Not 100 or 200, more like 1000 plus. This year I have a special suprise, although the quantity is very limited so its who ever grabs one from me. Will be giving out on the 3rd and 4th, Since its a 4th of July Item, I am not saying what it is. I'll let your imagination run wild on that.
But thats about it for now.
Time for more light tweaking on SL!
