I've just been slammed at work, causing my online time to just thin out, which kinda sucks, but eh, it happens.

I've been trying to play some games in my downtime, mostly "Fist of the North Star" (ps3) and almost done with fallout new vegas (360)

hopefully next year will bring a surprise I can't wait for...some of you know what it is ^^

Wow, I haven't done much or even got on messengers that much, and I really don't have a answer for that. I really don't.

So, the busy time is here, fall (i know its still summer, so its a late summer/early fall) gaming season has started. so that mean, less time trying to do something, more time for playing.

Btw, what are amped/excited/or just plain crazy about certain games that come out this season. mine are mostly: Dead Rising 2 (Zombrex edition paid off ^^), LittleBigPlanet 2, Fallout new vegas, Sly Cooper collection, and Fist Of The North Star: Ken's Rage (aka Hokuto musuo, basically dynasty warriors with fist of the north star character, and tons of exploding bodies!)

Yeah, someone turned on the ultra lazy mode around here, getting nothing done, or posting nothing...need to fix that switch.

Well, I got to rescan everything. I lost my thumb drive, which had my AC data on it, but hopefully i get a hold of a better scanner and get things scanned and whatnot.

Also, good news, I saved up enough money for the suit, so i got to wait til next year to get it, I can't wait.

I've been getting rid of some animes I have, just because I got tired of having them, and I need money to save up for holiday season, and hopefully some commissions too.

Movie watch, a quick review:

Expendables: good, its a 80's action movie all the way
Scott Pilgrim: loved it, saw it twice
Batman-under the red hood: great, a bit mature for a animated batman movie
Ip Man: if you like kung fu movies, watch it.
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo: very intense, just some scenes i was disturbed by
Inception: don't need to say any more about it (it was amazing)

Gaming watch:

nothing to say yet. been playing mostly DLC games like lara croft and scott pilgrim

Warning, it's a rant journal, because a certain company pissed me off for the last time. if you don't enjoy a good rant, leave.

You know Netflix, that company that sends dvd's in your mail or streaming...I just had enough of their bullshit.

I had them for about 1 and 1/2 years or so, and this now, is my breaking point with them. I usually rent out series, and other miscellaneous movies from them in the mail, because due to satellite internet, I can't watch streaming content. (yes, I live in the country, and no, i tried to get cable or dsl out here, and both companies were bastards to me...)

So, I tried to get a series that came out 2 months ago, and when i added it to my queue, it said now available, so i put it as #1....so, I go the next day, its still on my queue, saying "now available" but i scratch my head saying "why didn't they ship it out?" well, the next day i check..."VERY LONG WAIT" was on the first disc, so i got a bit ticked but wasn't upset, so i deleted it, thinking "well, disc 2 and 3 are available, i will get those instead", wait a day, still saying "now available" but they haven't shipped out...i started to get a bit unhappy, so i waited another day, and lo and behold "VERY LONG WAIT" on disc 2 and disc 3. I get pissed, because I listed them on my top of my queue, and yet, they haven't sent anything to me in weeks.

I went ahead and added stuff that i know is coming out in August, mostly new anime and some new movies, and they were on my queue with the street date. so I was happy that i have them on my queue, but happiness doesn't run with netflix. I go check today, and ALL OF THEM ARE NOW "Unknown", so basically, I got fucked. I called and asked to talked to their customer service, and talked to their so called "representative" and the douche bag was like "well sir, have you tried out streaming content, it has a lot of stuff that is on your queue" "I can't watch streaming content on netflix" "why can't you?" "I live out in the country and it just freezes up my internet" "oh well, have you tried watching netflix on xbox 360 or playstation 3 or nintendo wii" "I told you, I can't watch streaming content though netflix" "well sir, for 3 dollars more, you can get one more dvd in the mail, would you like to get that plan today" (at this point i'm pissed off with the person on the phone) "no, three is fine" "oh sir, based on your rental record, we can see that you get a lot of tv programs, with the four dvd plan, you can make sure that you get all of the discs from that particular show" "you know what, I have enough, goodbye" and I just hung up the phone.

So, within the next few days, I'm thinking about my options, and well, I might go ahead and cancel them, since I only got 2 things in my queue and both are on "Short wait". I really don't like them pushing a service that I can not do, and just hounding me about it.

Also, another thing to add to the thunder that is my rage towards those people, and basically hollywood, what the hell is up with the 28 day waiting period to get the damn movie to rent it. I mean, do you really want my measly 14.99 so that I can get a dvd with nothing on it. I mean, give us the 2 disc freaking explosion edition dvd, with special features that will blow your mind for 14.99, not 10 dollars more and you basically get shafted.

Oh well, I might go support Amazon.com and get the only stuff I want, and just feh the rest, or just wait til it comes on tv.

And to those who have netflix on your systems and whatnot, all I can say is, you're lucky. If I had DSL or Cable, maybe I won't need dvd's in the mail at all.

For those wondering, I have WildBlue, its satellite internet and IT SUCKS.

Well, i'm back to my slump, basically being invisible again.

Lately, I just feel embarrassed when I try to open up, because I don't know how that individual feels about me when I try to talk. I've been trying to get out of my shell, but I'm been going back in it.

Work is again, pressuring me to go further, to get more stuff, and well, I know there are others on my team that get stuff but the management staff is slacking, letting me and other people on my team get all of the stuff while they just work on other things. I do like to do projects but nope, stay on the register and get numbers.

I know I should put up the scans of the sketches I got at AC, and got the okie by several artists, but I've been out of it, with family and work stuff invading my time, so I do apologize to those who I got sketches from. I will try my best to get them up soon.

I'm going to take the plunge and buy a half-suit soon, but I got two quotes and don't know which one to take. (btw, if you are suiter and you are reading this, please note me if you can or IM me, I need some help about who to go with, and whatnot)

I got the photos off of my phone, so I will have to find a site that lets me setup a gallery and so that all of you can view it. what is the best site for that?

on a totally different related matter, I don't like going to several doctor offices to find out what is wrong with me, it makes me super nervous.

As of this morning, my grandfather, passed away.

For some of you may know, My grandfather is not doing well at all, when I got back home from AC, hospice came to my grandparents and well, they gave him2 months to live. this really hurt me badly...

but it just got worse.

I get a call from my mom when i was getting home, my grandfather is getting really bad and well, right now, we don't know if he is even going to make it though the night. Just, its hitting me hard, and i've been crying ever since. he was the first person who took me to the movies, and got me into wrestling. I wish I could watch a movie with him one last time, but when his time comes, its gonna come.

Well, I went to AC and I had the best time of my life there! It was the best con I ever been too, take that Otakon!

At first, I didn't know what to except and plus, i was kinda scared because this was my first fur con ever and I didn't know what to do, and well, I am extremely shy in RL.

Well,  lodoss-12 basically help me and I met a whole lot of furs there, including those who i admire there work, and well, it took me a bit of time, but i got more social around them.

our room at the westin wasn't bad...you had to put the room key near the light switch to use the bathroom lights...that was pretty weird. but other then that, it was a very nice hotel, with a restaurant that i should of went day one instead on the last day (yes, i am talking about fish market ^^) but some of the restaurants that were around there were great (except big mama's...read  Dragoneer journal about it) oh, the doughnuts at Fernando's was really good.

the fur suits was really good, and I was amazed, like stunned. i got plenty of pics of antics, even myself with them. I met  raccoondrew,  captainfurry, and  alkora and many others in suit and that was just...wow. I hope i get a suit in time for next year (oh and if anyone is taking suit commissions, please, PLEASE, let me know asap!)

Also, I got alot of sketches done at AC! I was extremely happy with every sketch I got, later in the week, when i don't have to work, i will try to post them up! it was very nice to get sketches from wonderful artists, and well, hopefully, next year, the book shall return (with a proper info sheet, hehe)

And right now, I am definitely going next year, and hopefully by that time, i will get a suit.
