Found out today she has leukemia. Its slow moving so she has a good chance but that ruined the rest of my day. How can I go from having the best day yesterday to a horrible day today? Welp, I'm going to probably be on hiatus for a little bit.

This Aunt of mine is like a second mother to me. Me and her are so alike that I have my suspicions that I'm really hers and the hospital photos of my mom after I was born were faked. We love the same type of movies and our favorite holiday is Halloween. She's allergic to everything ever it seems like but she's still awesome as fuck. She read the copy of Hoof Beat that we have out loud in front of me, my mates and our horrified roomies. She's the uber troll and I love her to bits. That's what makes this new especially hard for me. No idea how long I'll be gone but I will be back.

Its my 27th birthday. 27th.... Ugh I feel old. Anyway, had a bunch of fun today. I got a few new to me games. And I got tickets to the Twins of Evil concert. I'm so fucking excited for it! Marilyn Manson is who inspired me to start drawing and I always wanted my first concert to be one of his. I got my wish and I'm so fucking happy. Best present ever!

Nostalgia Critic is gone! Doug Walker retired the character and the series. My Wednesdays feel so empty. I always looked forward to his reviews more than anything. I watched each new one every Wednesday. I enjoyed them immensely. Now he's gone for however long they deem fit to make a new episode with him. I'm really, honestly depressed about it.

Recently it seems that everything is going bad. My health is in a constant state of failure but I'm not worried about myself. See I just reccently found out my grandma on my dad's side has stage four stomach cancer. This means she only has a matter of time. I hope she'll last until November so I can see her when we go up to Michigan for Thanksgiving.

I'm also worried about He recently had something bad happen with his mental statis. No details out of respect for him but it was scary as fuck. Thankfully he had the right medicine that helped him. Hopefully this doesn't happen again anytime soon.

Anyway, because of all of this, I have experienced a lack of drive to draw recently. I'm trying to motivate myself without much luck. I need a hug... T___T

I want some very specific custom plushes. I want a large Entei that looks like the huge poke center release. Those are so pretty! Happy 4th to you all! I feel like crap today so I doubt I'll get anything done today. I'm hoping the medicine I took will help me.

We have to go renew our lease tomorrow. We also have to get quarters for the laundry machine tomorrow as well as some for ourselves. To top it all off we get to sort through boxes tomorrow. Our old Landlords, who thought of as a surrogate family, told us to get our stuff out or they would toss it out or sell it. So we were stuck with boxes of stuff and no room to put them.

Although, to be fair, one of the old Landlord's sons told us she was gonna check with us to make sure she could sell the stuff. Anyway, we have a lot to do tomorrow and I will do my best to finish ongoing commissions and requests. Thank you all for your patience.

I am home from A.C. My laptop is just shitting itself right now. I have to use my boyfriend's Mac Book Air. And I loathe macs. But I get home and see an explosion of Drama over something that happened involving furries in NJ. What the hell happened??

Okay I have very few pet peeves but I think I've developed a new one. What is it with these artists that want to do art only for the attention they get from it? That's not what art is about at all! I cannot even begin to tell you how annoyed it makes me when I run across several journals from several artists that are like this:

"I'm not getting the attention I deserve for the drawings I do! So I'm quitting! (at least until enough of my friends kiss my ass)"

or

"I opened for commissions twice before and not for very long. No one commissioned me so I quit. You all hate me! Baaaaaaaw!"


Art is not about the attention you receive from it guys. Its about doing something you enjoy! Bringing characters to life, making people smile, putting some beauty into the world. If you can't handle the fact that you have to work long and hard to get a fanbase at all, this isn't for you.

It can take years of trying, failing and trying again to get anywhere. You have to put yourself on the line everyday and advertise blatantly to get anywhere. There is no instant gratification in this business other than the satisfaction of being proud of something you drew. That is all.

Hug, maybe not. Manson is a grouchy character. So please don't be offended if I act unfriendly while in suit. Talking is fine, if I'm out of character I'll talk back. Feel free to suit with me. I like company. No groping. I would get really embarrassed and prefer you don't do it.

Okay so they changed things very minimally. The search is still awful and where are those folders promised us so long ago? On top of that, there are still GLARING security holes in the site structure itself. Shouldn't and his team focus a little more on those instead of focusing on making the site a little more compact? has done his part to tell and his team about these account compromising holes and they ignore them.

Christ. If there were any better art site that allowed me to advertise I'd leave for it. Instead I'm stuck with a site that any hacker can get into and just grab whatever they like. Also the admins are almost borderline Nazi! I mean come on! They violate basic free speech and their own submission guidlines just to remove something they don't like. They can do anything they like to us and only get a slap on the wrist at the most. I'm sure this will get removed... But I just don't give a shit anymore.

I just bought the Silent Hill HD collection. I was so excited to maybe get to play the game without the horrible controls of the original versions. I got home, popped the game in and.... was very disappointed

The controls got even worse. I can only get the character to move at a stuttered, stilted walk for most of the time. This makes the game unbearable for me to play. If I came up against a monster I wouldn't have a chance in hell. What makes this worse is Konami already released a patch that fixed almost none of the issues the games have. And according to several customer reports Konami will tell people to just get a new system.

Also it doesn't seem like they plan another patch either. They''d rather focus on pushing out more games rather than customer satisfaction. I highly suggest you do not buy this game until they come up with a definate fix for it.
