This is a little silly, but I don't really have anyone else to share this with since I try to keep how perverted I am IRL on the down low.

I was just surfing around the net and revisited https://www.wwoec.com which, back when I was a teenager who never drew shit and spent my nights scouring for hours and hours in the basement of my mother's house for any kind of gay toon porn (kids these days have no idea how fucking good they have it!), I stumbled onto Mouseboy's stuff.

I remember I contacted him a couple of times by e-mail, saying his stuff is amazing and pleading with him to consider drawing Pete some day, and he responded back he had been thinking about it, and thanks for the compliments, which is basically the kind of messages that I get nowadays as a furry artist. Which is neat in a sense.

And when I was back on this page today, I loaded his old comic Goofy Neighbours and the moment the shitty star filled Bg loaded I clearly recalled the moment I saw he had updated with that comic way back in... 2003, 2004? And opening it, and wanting to save each and every gif to view one at a time so that I could draw it out. And how I didn't want to zoom ahead and ruin Pete's part for myself.

I had a similar feeling when I first found Biohazards page and reveled in his amazing Rocko porn and, again, I remembered the day I saw he had updated his page with Sam and Max pics and tried to save each one to my hard drive without seeing it first, so that I could open each and every one one at a time.

And needless to say I remembered how incredibly hard my dick was, cause I was a teenager and that shit happened a lot.

Sooooo Mouseboy and Biohazard if you're out there, you're incredible and I wouldn't be drawing if not for you. The same goes for many other artists, some of whom are still active today. And there's a teenage part of me that is always hoping to see new work from you.

And I don't know if people still read journals, or use FA the same way, but it's a different internet now. And I feel bad in a way that teenagers today might not be getting that same gift on christmas feel. So tell me your stories if you can relate, or shout out, or whatever.

FA just ain't like it used to be! The social element is all gone... but since I've pretty much stopped socializing anyways, I guess that's fine. Still, it would be nice to know who/what/when/how is going in the rule 34 world. Any good artists or sites I'm missing out on?

Having lived life as a normal person in NA for the past two years it's occurred to me that it really blows.

I have more than enough money saved to afford 4 semesters of school at Sheridan OR one year at VFS... both of which are fairly acclaimed schools for artsy shit.

But it's terrifying because I am pretty much blowing all the money I've saved in my 20s on this, so I gotta do it right.

if you know someone, on FA or otherwise, who is currently studying at or has graduated from either school, please note me. I'd really like to hear from actual people and not just webpages that talk about how amazing life is once you've blown 40k.

I consider this community to be a group of relatively tech-savvy people. I'm shopping for a new laptop or a new desktop. But I'm only looking for one or the other.

The advantages of the two as far as I'm concerned have more to with my personal life; one travels easily, the other is powerful and won't need updating.

Also I have a cintiq that I can't make work on my current laptop, and I don't know if this is going to be an ongoing thing. If it only works on desktops with multiple video in/out plugs, there's not much sense getting a new laptop.

That being said, this laptop functions fine. If I get a new laptop, this one is useless. If I get a desktop, this one is still useful as a portable tool.

But I like chatting/drawing/doing whatever wherever. The freedom to move around is nice, especially if I hop countries again in the near future.

SOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm trying to leave out my personal reasons for wanting one and giving some preference to the actual performance. Anyone out there care to share their opinion/recommendations??

Two things.

One, regarding the tattoo journal. The winner's turned out to be the do-gooding losers who recommended me to wait. I decided I was succumbing to peer pressure, and succ,,,ame to a different kind of peer pressure in order to not succumb to the original peer pressure.
