Going with one of these again to address my lack of activity lately. I haven't been completely off the grid though, I have one story that's already complete and just pending confirmation and about five more that I'm in the process of writing.

I do apologize for the lack of updates though, and in return for my absence you can feel free to ask me the most awkward, hard to answer or embarrassing questions you feel like asking. You can also ask any of my characters and they will respond in kind, but if you ask a question to Blitzen please specify whether you want the character or the real me to answer.

Happy vore day everyone! In celebration of noms, pudgy guts, noisy bellies and storywriting, I've decided to try something a bit different with this AMA. I've been somewhat inspired by the AMAs where people draw their character's answers to the questions they're asked. But since I'm not able to draw and I don't feel like just doing a comedy event with them, I'm going to respond to each question with a very short story. Each will be under 1000 words, and depending on the question will be either a monologue from the character in question or a short scene involving the question that was asked.

A few ground rules to read before we begin:

1. The usual rules I have around topics I will and won't write don't apply in this case, since some of my characters do have darker pasts. But anything involving fatal vore won't be sexualized or lingered on, and I can't promise that my characters will have a positive reaction to questions regarding some topics.

2. Only one character and one question per person please. For those who might have multiple questions, I will likely be doing this again if it gets a good response so there will be other opportunities.

3. Any of my characters can be asked a question, no matter how unimportant or small their role to the story was. Just please refrain from asking me questions, this is just meant to be a character AMA.

4. All stories will be put on Pastebin, and all questions/stories will be gathered together after today and submitted to my account.

This is a bit of an experiment on my part as well, so hopefully it will go well. Looking forward to seeing what comes of this!

Making up for my relative silence with another one of these, ask me or my characters anything you like and all questions will be answered by the end of the day.

And don't worry, I assure you that my silence isn't showing that I've stopped. I've got side stories in the works, I'm going to be getting back to those two commissions, and I've got a pretty big main series project that's been in the works for a while now. So soon my silence will be broken with more uploads!

As for the questions, anything goes, though any questions regarding plot spoilers may or may not be entirely truthful

I've been very quiet on FA due to the process of moving (Gonna be moving in on Saturday!) So after seeing Gray's idea a few of us decided to do our own as well. It'll give me a chance to interact a bit on here again until I'm settled enough to start officially writing again.

On this TMI Tuesday I'm not going to be taking questions as my characters, it'll just be myself. You can ask me about the impending move, or whatever you want, really. Anything that you've wanted to ask me but never had the occasion to, now's the time! And I'll answer everything to the best of my ability and as honestly as I can, no matter how embarrassing.

It's just a quick and easy one, which of my characters if your favourite? I might still be doing little side stories apart from commissions, and this will help me see which characters you guys might want to see more of. You don't have to do both, it's just there for fun. I was quite suddenly offered a new job in a different city, one that I decided to take. I've been looking for a new job for some time, but now the next two weeks are going to be a flurry of activity while I find a place to stay in the meantime. With the job search and the move, as well as studying for a certificate so I can keep moving up in my new job, I probably won't have as much time to write as I'm used to. I'll do what I can, but until I get settled at the end of March I don't think I'll be able to finish up anything in time to be submitted.

I am excited about this new job and new place to live though! Once I have everything worked out and I get back into a routine I'll have a good amount of material to post to hopefully make up for the delay. Thank you all once again for supporting my writing and continuing to support it in the future

As I promised in the journal at the start of 2017, I am going to be opening two slots for story commissions going forward into February, which I'll be working on at the same time as my normal stories. There are only going to be two slots for now, while I get the feel of how the process works and how quickly I can get such commissions done.

If not then I'll just be leaving them open until I do, and I'll possibly be reopening them as the stories get completed.

Currently working on: Sacred Fire Chapter 4

First of all, my apologies for having a bit of a lull in the updates. I was all set to have my prologue for my new series start up either Monday or yesterday, until I got hit with such a nasty bout of the stomach flu that I'm still trying to recover from it. My writing has kind of taken a break while I work on getting myself better. Now that I'm feeling a bit on the mend though, I figured I'd try a little AMA exercise to get myself back into the spirit of things.

I saw  BlankSlate15 do another one of these and thought I would give it a try. Instead of asking my characters something and having them answer, today I'll be taking questions on the Stony Plain/Clearspring setting in general and answering them to the best of my ability. No major plot spoilers here, but I could be willing to reveal a bit more about what my plans for the setting are. Or if there was just something unclear that you wanted clarification about, now's the time to ask~

Flareon Day snuck up on my again (though I was reminded yesterday by fellow writer  EtamitEvofox) so I don't have anything actually prepared for it. Not a very good showing for a day celebrating my own existence, I know, but in my defense I was busy playing XCOM 2.

I would like to have something to celebrate the most important day of the year however, so instead of trying to slap together a quick story I'm going to take the simple route and hold an AMA instead! Today's AMA features the one and only Blitzen himself, and all questions will be answered in character as Blitzen the Flareon, not as Blitzen the writer. He's a relatively minor character in my works compared to the others, though I do RP with him more than anyone else. So if you had any burning questions or mysteries you would want the chubby Flareon to solve, now's the time to ask them!

And because Blitzen is the chubbiest, warmest, and fluffiest of them all, every question asked of him will result in an answer and a free hug. Just remember to share, and not to eat the Flareon so that others can receive their free gift.

Heck of a year it's been, and with 2017 coming up it's natural to want to take a look back at everything that's happened the previous year while still looking forward to the next.

2016 has been... a rollercoaster of a year is probably the best way for me to put it. I've had a full year of submitting stories, and I'm fully expecting to have another solid year ahead as well. As for 2018... well, we'll see what happens when we get there. I've gotten both a lot more and a lot less done than I thought, I expected to be going into my next story arc, Worlds Apart, but got distracted by a bunch of other side projects too. A lot of stories, and a lot of good reactions mixed in with a few bad. I wouldn't give up the experience for anything though.

Everything else has been a mix of the very good mixed with the very bad. Things seem to be getting out of control on the world stage, and I'm more uncertain about the future than I remember being. And at the same time, this is also the same year where I found Breeze, my loving mate and close friend. Despite all the uncertainties I'm still going forward with all the optimism I can. Things usually work out, whether it was the way you expected it to or not. Just gotta stay together and stay strong.

But the journal here isn't just for me to reminisce. There's a few things I wanted to bring up or mention in regards to my writing, or the Clearspring setting in general. A few things to be made aware of if you didn't know, and a little bit about what to expect from me in the coming year.

First, there are a lot of contributors to the Clearspring setting, and I wanted to take a moment to mention them all here, gather all the links in one place. They've all added their own stories, most of which are still ongoing, and I hope you take at least a moment to look over their stories as well!

And lastly for my own plans going into 2017:
-After the chapter I uploaded earlier today, I have one last Interlude Chapter to complete, and River's Eaten By chapter. But afterward I'll finally be able to start my next major story arc, and I'm not sure how long this one will be. Only that it will likely be longer than the 10 that The Travelers ended up being. A good portion of it will also involve a crossover event between KingdomofGray and myself, which has been planned for quite some time now.

And I'm finally going to make it official.. once I start Regions Apart, I am going to become open for commissions. It will be mostly experimental at first, but my major hope depending on the length and complexity of the commissions will be to get one commission story and one main chapter completed each month. What this means for my stories in general is that there will likely be less things such as raffle stories or side stories while I have commissions open. I'll be working up a TOS and price list for the commissions as well. I'll be posting a journal when I open a slot as well, and it's my hope that these commissions will go well and result in even more enjoyable stories for everyone in general ^^

I should have the story ready to submit by Halloween, and I hope you all enjoy it!

Hey everyone, October is here again, and just like last year I am going to be writing another Halloween special to be submitted on the 31st. The last one was a huge hit and I'm excited to have come up with another idea for this year!

Things are going to be a bit different this time though. I need six characters for the idea I have in mind, and that's where all of you guys come in. All you have to do is comment below, filling out the brief form I included in this journal, and your character will be possibly included in the story! I will draw the six winners once my next chapter is posted (Monday evening or Tuesday morning). And in the case of less than six volunteers posting I will fill out the roster with some of my own characters.

The brief outline of the story is that your character has seen a Halloween event going on in Stony Plain, a scavenger hunt that encompasses the whole town. And the first person to solve the hunt will not only receive a fantastic reward, but they will also win Guild Points for their team (if they havd one). It promises a fun, spooky time, and you can think of worse ways to spend a Halloween night. What could go wrong?

As usual I missed the actual milestone of 300 watchers, but I didn't want to do a raffle until I was done a lot of the stories I had going on. Now that I have, I want to celebrate all the wonderful support, encouragement, and constructive criticism I've gotten over the past 15 months. I really could never have gotten this far without all of you, thank you so much for everything! <3

Since I'm still working on how to handle possible commissions, I wanted to celebrate and practise more with another story raffle! I don't have a set minimum or maximum length for this, the story will just be however long it ends up being. Just don't ask for a trilogy or saga or anything x3

I just got back from a trip to the city, which while fun didn't afford me many chances to keep up my writing. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things while I'm on my week off (heading back to work next Monday, boo) so I was thinking of writing another Eaten By story ^^

The problem is... I like so many of my characters as preds that I don't know which one I should feature next. So I thought I would ask what you all think, which of my characters would you like to see as a predator in a second-person perspective? I'll keep the poll open until tomorrow evening (Around 9 CST) and the winner will be featured in the next story, which will hopefully be written just the very next day.

FA's outage has a lot of people spooked, which is something that shouldn't surprise me, I guess. This happens a lot, unfortunately, but I really don't think FA will ever go down permanently. It still sucks that some people lost their submissions though, losing a week is rough. I just don't think it's really cause to leave the site, it's a bit of a knee-jerk reaction.

Although it is fair to let people know where to find you in case it does go down temporarily again. In my case though, I only use FA. I am aware of many other sites. FN, DA, SoFurry, InkBunny, Weasyl, Eka's Portal, Gurglr... but none of them appeal to me for a number of reasons. Some I even purposely avoid. So if FA goes down again there really is nowhere else to see my works for now. But I do still have my Skype and Telegram, which can be used to contact me in a pinch. Well, to my account, since I had my actual birthday in March. But it's still a pretty big deal for me, I had no idea when I first made this account whether I would still even be doing this in a year's time. But now here we are, I've written a ton of words and chapters, and received such a welcoming, supportive response from the community as a whole. I now have no idea if I'll ever stop doing what I do ^^

And since this is a celebration of a year on FA, I think it's time to take another step forward when it comes to taking commissions. Today I'm going to be doing two free commission stories! I'll probably put up another journal sometime tomorrow to go into more detail, and that I can keep up on my front page instead of this one that focuses solely on them. But for now, if you have an idea for something that you'd like to see me write, send me a note and I'll see what I think! I will probably keep them open for a week or so to see what ideas I get, and what the response is, before I choose which two I will write and close them down. When I finally do start doing real commissions I probably won't be open a lot of the time, but I'm still going to try them. This is just the last step to practice the commissioning process and work out any kinks that might come up.

After thinking things over for... probably longer than I should have, I finally decided to start posting all of the artwork and gifts that were commissioned for me to this account. Not only will it help gather all of the references for me and my characters in one place, it will also hopefully give a bit more attention to the incredibly talented artists who drew the pictures for me, and deserve to be recognized for their work ^^

I'll spread them out over the next few days while I work on my next chapter, a side story involving three new characters and one that might be familiar to you ;3 Hope you all enjoy, and be sure to check out the artists I've commissioned if you haven't yet.

Hello everyone, been a while since I did an actual journal so I figured I'd finally get around to it now. First of all, as always, thank you so much for watching my account and reading my stories. I've reached 163 watchers recently, which is far more than I ever imagined I would get when I started writing. I'm glad so many of you enjoy my stories, and I appreciate all of the support you've given me over the past 10 months. It's been a lot of fun to write, and I am looking forward to more stories in the future!

However, the unfortunate part is... my updates to the story have been pretty slow lately. It's in part due to the fact that I just write such long chapters, but it also has to do with a few other things as well. There are more and more things eating away at my free time to write, and I just feel my drive for it lagging a bit. I am by no means quitting the series, so don't worry about that. There are just a few things that have happened with my life that are slowing things down.

First of all, I'm looking not only for a new place to live, but a new job as well. My current job is fine, I'm not in any danger of losing it, but I am hoping to find a place to live in the city rather than out in the boonies of Saskatchewan. More actual career opportunities, for starters. And it would be nice not having to drive for hours any time I need to buy something that's not in town here, or to see a movie in the theatre. The search for both of these things is likely going to take up a lot of my time over the next little while; as much as I do enjoy my writing I still have my future to think about, and to plan for.

Some people are already aware of this, but I'm also starting to suffer from what I suspect might be General Anxiety Disorder. No official diagnosis yet, but... there are some days where my panic attacks get so bad that I have a hard time functioning. I've seen a doctor about it and I have a prescription now for an anti-anxiety medicine. But it's something I find myself dealing with almost daily, and quite obviously it's caused my work ethic to suffer as a result. I am working through it though, and I'm feeling confident that I'll be able to get it under control eventually. ^^

Not everything is bad, though! I've started -really- getting into a game that some people might be familiar with, known as League of Legends x3 It's incredibly fun, and while I'm still pretty bad at the game I am getting slowly better. I also have a birthday coming up this month, which I am looking forward to despite the fact that I'll be over a quarter century old ^^;

I've also had something pretty unexpected happen as a result of starting my writing and joining the community here. I recently met  markhaen62, also known as Breeze. After quite some time just talking and spending time together, the two of us have actually become mates~. He's an adorable sweetheart, and while we may be far apart for now, I'm hoping that in the future we'll be able to meet in real life.

And lastly, to the writing itself. My next couple chapters in the Travelers is going to be a little different. It's going to be a crossover chapter, written both by myself and by  BlankSlate15, with a combination of our characters. I'm looking forward to working with him, and I recommend checking out his writing too! I really enjoy his stories, and they deserve more attention ^^ I'm also working on a side story, to introduce even more characters that I've come up with. Whichever comes first, I hope you all enjoy them!

And that's about it, really. It's been a crazy couple of months this year so far, with both incredibly good highs and some pretty bad lows. Overall though, I'm feeling optimistic going forward. Finding a new place, maybe even some place that Breeze and I could one day live in together, would go a long way to making me happier. And in the meantime, I will keep working on my stories wherever I can. I enjoy writing far too much to ever give up on it completely, and I hope you all enjoy what's coming next!
