I loved everything about it. The story, the characters, the humor, the drama, the animation, the music. "Try Everything" is stuck my head right now; but I don't mind it's a good song.

Wednesday night the tool shed in the back of our house was destroyed during the storm and the basement is flooded.

So, instead of trying to catch up with my drawing I'll be spending my weekend cleaning up the basement and the backyard.

*groans*...

Haven't posted a journal entry in a while, so I thought I'd give this another try. Maybe I'll get a response this time. :P

I don't know what's going on with my internet connection at home. It's so freakin' slow! It takes so long for sites to load and I can't watch streaming video sites like YouTube; and my phone is having similar issues.

I'll still be around, but this is really frustrating me right now.

So far 2016 is shaping up. My dad got a new job as a Service Writer for a Toyota dealership and as for me; next week I'll be working a new position at NAPA working on class returns (parts that have to be returned to the distribution center). And yes the job does pay better.

Please God let this good streak continue.

Just to let you guys what's going with me lately; While working at the auto parts store I'm still searching for a new job. Hopefully something with better pay. I miss the warehouse. Also I'm getting ready for Christmas (decorating the house, shopping, and hoping to get some holiday-related art done in time as well)

Plus next Friday is my birthday...which I'll be spending at work :P And at the and of the year I'll be attending the New Year's Furry Ball in Newark, DE - http://thefurststate.com/newyears/ Hope to see you guys there.

In spite of all the frustrations I've experienced this year (those of you who know me know which ones I'm talking about) I still have plenty to be thankful for. I'm thankful that God still loves me even though I'm not perfect. I'm thankful for my family and for all of my friends; my old high school buddies, my church friends, and those in the furry fandom. Yes, all of you! :)

Just got back home and I'm tired. *whew* So many messages to go through and so much to do before returning to work tomorrow.

Anyway...I've had a great time at Furpocalypse. Meet some great friends both old and now. Got some drawing done. And got to perform my stand up comedy in the masquerade Saturday night. There should be video of it posted soon. Speaking of which; my friend  allan who finally got to see me live couldn't stop talking about my performance! I wasn't that great, but I appreciate the attention. Others liked it too.

Hopefully if things go well for me job-wise, I get to come back next year. I really want to.

Got a four day weekend ahead. After all this overtime I've been working this month, I really need some time off! I'll be leaving for the con very early Friday morning. I'm picking up a friend in Beachwood, NJ then it's off to Connecticut! Come say hi if you see me there!

As of now our room at the main hotel for FP is full. If anything changes I'll let you guys know.

Also...*sighs*...I've been very frustrated lately. I've been working long hours at my job for the past few weeks. Most of the parts in the warehouse is being sent to other distribution centers in the Northeast. Even with all the overtime, I'm still not making enough. Soon I'll be working in one of the parts stores where I'll have to take a pay cut.

Not only that; I haven't drawn anything in quite a while. I've been super busy and really tired; so again I apologize for the lack of art. I'll try to get something done soon. Right now I just need some time to get myself together. I'm a mess.

Remember this is a non-smoking room and you must be clean and neat. (Gotta reinforce that 6-2-1 rule)

Today I finally got to talk to the manager of the parts store where I'll be working soon. My start time and hours haven't been set yet; but he has allowed me to use my two remaining vacation days for the year. So I can still go to Furpocalypse! WHOOOOOO!!!

As for my job situation - (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6941888/) I was offered to work stock in the NAPA store in Westmont. I decided to take it. I start in October. Hourly rate is a bit less than what I make now; but I'm still with the company. My benefits and seniority remain the same. It's the best option for me now.

As for Furpocalypse...I pre-reg'd for the con just days before the announcement about the warehouse shutting down. I haven't cancelled my plans for it yet. Technically I still have some time off left for the year. I'll have to talk with the store manager and see what he says.

As a stand-up comic, I can vouch for that.

Another MFM has come and gone. The weekend went by a little too fast for me, but I still had fun.

I left for the Philly airport early Thursday morning. I arrived in Memphis a little after 11 AM CST. Got my rental car (Buick Verano) so I can commute from my friend  saizaku's house to the con and back. Several weeks ago his dad had hip replacement surgery. He just got out of rehab when I arrived. I had to help move him around throughout most of Thursday and Friday. Having a physically-demanding job helps :P

Anyway, back to con. I've met several of my friends there including  khordkitty,  skippyfoxcub,  kittrel, and the members of the Babsiwuff club -  squeakybunny,  marmelmm,  walt46, and  kennykitsune I gotta include him in my next pic. :) I bought a couple of DVDs and prints from  rabbi-tom, who by the way included me as one of the Dons during the Saturday night dinner at Coletta's. Don Snowflake thanks you. *bows* On Sunday I performed my stand-up act during the masquerade. I did alright this year. Later that night I played a couple of rounds of "Are You a Werewolf?" and "Cards Against Humanity" in the game room.

So it was a fun yet bit of exhausting weekend for me. Hopefully I get to come back next year. I gotta come up with something big since next year will be the 20th MFM!

In a few hours I'll be leaving for Mephit Fur Meet. My flight should arrive in Memphis later on this morning. If anyone will be there this weekend I'll see you there!
