Honestly, I didn't think I'd be able to do it. Like two days into this whole thing I thought I'd shot myself in the foot and wasn't going to be able to do it. I was two stories in and realized I had like 29 more to do x3
This was a blast! It was a trial, sure but in that good way where you fell yourself getting something out of it. I haven't written on a daily basis in a long time and it was exhilarating to do that again.
I hope you all enjoyed a whole month of macro mouse stories, I certainly enjoyed bringing them to you. As rewarding as this was, I do feel a little burned out by the whole thing. Next story I post certainly wont be a mouse story, that's for sure x3
Thank you all for reading and engaging with the stories, that's what truly made this theme month an absolute rush!

As is very evident--It is March. Not only that, but it is Macro March!
For this very special month I am going to be dedicating it entirely to the species that can never get enough representation in the macro scene (In my totally unbiased opinion):
Mice!
The theme for the month of March is Macro Mouse March, I will be posting one story featuring a huge, immense, colossal, gigantic mouse every single day for the whole of March.

Cohost/tumblr short stories

long time no update XD
Lately i've been writing some short stories on Cohost and Tumblr. Since twitter algorithms seem to kill all visibility when you post outgoing links i figured i should plug those here. Got a good few shorts on there already, some of them are nsfw so they cant be seen without an account. Some are sequential stories split into parts while others are nonindependent stories. Currently i have an ongoing story about a mouse empire colonizing a planet of tiny cats.
I realize that some people might not want to sign up to a new site (Or dig up their tumblr access) so i'll likely compile the stories on a semi regular basis and post them here.

I never thought my stories and drawings would garner this much attention, what started out as a single story written because i was bored during covid lockdown has now become something so much more!

Well, i finally got rid of the distraught looking Moomin picture. I'd been meaning to do that for a while, to use the picture of my sona i drew for my twitter but for some reason i had this weird caveat in my brain that i shouldnt do it on my FA until i had a story to post, which for the life of me i cant remember what the reasoning was.
Anyway, sorry for the slow updates on here. The final days of my work have been hectic and i am counting the days until i'm out of there. I decided to use all of my vacation days so i dont even have to be there the final month of my resignation period. Will have an entire month to prep for school, refresh a whole slew of math knowledge that's just been rusting in the back of my head, and maybe get some stories done.
I've actually become really active on twitter, i got into #minifurfic writing, admittedly i've been using it as a sort of idea bank, my latest story (Staying up) is based on one of these minifics. It's honestly a great writing exercise and i cant recommend it enough for anyone looking to get into writing.

Just checking in to say that i am still alive. My last update was somewhere around new years, sorry bout that. Things at work have been awful. Two long time employees have quit recently and we've been forced to pick up some new employees. You'd think with the covid epidemic that we'd be able to pick and chose some good replacements but instead we got a literal psychopath and a narcissist.
The latter guy cannot stop commenting on everything everyone does. Every minute thing i do he has to ask what i'm doing and why i'm doing it, not to learn his job bstger or anything, just to find a sliver of a chance to complain about something. Every conversation i've had with the guy has lead to him complaining about something and it is so goddamn insufferable.
The former honestly eludes me. I dont know how the fuck he got through the hiring process. The guy cannot focus on anything for more than 10 seconds and spaces out constantly. On several occasions he's stopped what he's doing to wander around the workspace, mumbling to himself only to walk up to someone to tell them some insane rambling about him contacting the US embassy from denmark because he saw a statue in some building. The guy honestly might be insane.
Work has been frustrating. The workload has increased expinentially and the workspace has gone to shit. Luckily i am planning to resign at the end of the month. Essentially the last 2 years have gone into improving place and all of that work has been undone in the oast week due to poor management. It is frustrating beyond belief.
I'm going to resign at the end of the month and hopefully start university at the end of july. Even if my admission gets rejected, i dont want to continue working there.
If i do get accepted into uni, my already slow posting flow will likely get worse. But i will try to post something on occasion. Not the long 20-25 page stuff i did begore but shorter more concise content.
I've got three stories in works right now. A conclusion to me Tall tales series, a short eoth my deer boy from the delivery crew series and a brqnd new independant story.
My new method involves working on three stories seperately so i can shotgun them all out at the same time, it's better to get a lot of content in a long time than little content in a short time imo.

Slight Venting/Work update.
General | Posted 5 years agoRight, so this is a slight rant against my father. After the election he's been binging some right wing news pundits and sharing some conspiracy theories regarding the whole capitol building thing. Me and my brothers have tried confronting him regarding it but he keeps defaulting to some rant that always degrades into an argument with him bringing up some unverified, sketchy video that is somehow supposed to prove some insane conspiracy where the FBI allows antifa into the capitol building so they can pretend to be trump supporters to make trump look bad to help biden win the election he already won. The kicker is that we dont even live in the states so i gotta deal with a right wing relative who cant even vote for the guy and isn't at all affected by anything that happens in the US. Rant over.
I've started like three stories over the last week. Dont know if i want to finish the first one but the second and third might get done within the month. Personally i think it's coming along nicely but i might be a bit biased considering i'm the one writing them.

New Stuff coming up.

Been working on some stuff for the past three weeks but every time I seem to start something I tend to get thirty pages in and then realize it's not up to snuff and either erase it or start something new. It always perplexes me how someone can write twelve goddamn pages of something and before realizing it's garbage. Either way I'm making good headway on another Tall Tales part and do have a few ideas on the backlog. Started a Twitter page that I rarely update, it's another way to contact me I guess. Also I organized all my stories into folders since I didn't think far enough ahead to actually name one of the series I made, to make it a bit easier to see which stories are sequential and which aren't.
