Watching how adopts can turn up in the most random and surprising places always seems to bring me joy. Even if you missed out on a favorite design a year ago - that same design pops right back up in your feeds available all over again! It's so exciting to see these characters make their little journey between owners and be influenced in so many little ways.

I absolutely love to collect and hoard characters. From supporting my favorite artists, to just loving the look of the oc itself? There are so many reasons I randomly pick up an adopt. So many different ways to use them and imagine them in action! It feels like an entire library in my head sometimes and any day I can just browse the selection and pick what I'm feeling in the moment. I never feel lost or alone with all these little characters making a mess in the back of my mind. I just can't seem to stop thinking of ideas to doodle, interactions to write, or commissions I'd love to get. Sighs whimsically~

I just think it's so cool how an adopt can travel through so many people or find that "just right person" who does want to hoard them forever! I keep a huuuuuge wishlist of all the characters I find interesting and I often offer 3-way trades for them if I can't afford to purchase them myself. And I just spend a lot of time watching characters go up for offers, find new owners, get new art, become a sona, go up for offers again!! Just such a roller-coaster with each little character. There's no designated track for anyone. Sure you can make all the assumptions you want? But I bet if you keep watching you'd be surprised one way or another. Just makes me really smile to see all these characters I adore have their own little lives person to person. It's incredible how such a simple creation can connect so many people!

I'm always so happy to see my fav designs I wanted for myself getting adopted/sold out. I know that's... a weird thing to say, but I figure reading the bit above maybe it makes more sense now. Just makes me so happy to see other people ALSO love these designs and want to engage with them just as much as I do. And those designs / artists absolutely deserve it!

I guess I just want to shout... Thank you artists for making such beautiful points of light that connect us all together!

I always let people approach me and ask questions when this stuff pops up because I don't really know where half the info comes from.
