Hey all!

Those of you who currently have commissions going on with me have probably noticed my slow responses - First of all, I wanted to let you all know that I am working on them as much as I can!

I've recently been having tooth pain which has been causing me some pretty bad headaches, and looking at screens has been making the headaches worse; as a result, I've had to limit my screen time and stay away from phones, my tablet and computers. I've been chipping away at commissions here and there and putting the pen down when the headaches start to increase.

Fortunately, I do have a dentist appointment tomorrow to see if I can get things all fixed! Thank you all for being so patient with me, I'll be trying my best to get some WIPs of your commissions out to you as soon as I can~

Hey all!! Just wanted to give a lil update on commission pricing here - I've given it a lot of thought, and so I've decided to lower my sketch and colored sketch prices back to their previous price! So enjoy the -$10 once again on those commission types! I was thinking that maybe the price increase from earlier this year seemed a bit much for something more simple like a sketch or colored sketch, at least for me in terms of how much detail I put into my work. I also still want to have some options for everyone that are more affordable compared to my other more detailed commission types! (Comic sketch+colored sketch prices have not changed however, comics are hard pLS DON'T YELL AT ME)

Eventually I do want to get to a point where I personally like the look/level of detail of my sketchy art, so maybe then I may increase the price, but for now, I may be experimenting a bit more with how my sketches look! So I hope y'all will enjoy the things I plan to put out~

Hello everyone, commissions are open once again! This time I've opened for 5 sketch slots and 5 colored sketch slots! For anyone still interested in getting a Valentine's Day themed commission, I've extended the 10% off holiday discount until the end of February! As a reminder, your commission must have a Valentine's Day theme to qualify for the discount! So roses, rose petals, ribbons, hearts, chocolates, related colors(pink, red, purple), must be included somehow! And please be sure to mention the discount so I know for sure you want a Valentine's Day themed commission!

Side note, I tweaked my commission info slightly! The Short For Comic Page commission is now called the Comic Story commission, and the Minimal/Minimally Shaded Comic commission is now called the Simple Shaded/Shading Comic commission.

Another side note, I've decided to offer the Comic Story commission on an ask basis! I won't ever advertise that I'm open for this commission type, so if you're ever interested in getting a Comic Story commission from me, you must send me a note when you have a set idea+all of your info ready! The reason I won't advertise opening for this commission type, is because working on a Comic Story requires lots of project planning, and I will have to schedule around regular commissions in order to work on the project!

Hi all, welcome to the new year!! Before I get into all the commission changes - Commission slots are open and available, you can see what I'm currently offering in my profile description! With Valentine's Day around the corner, I will be accepting themed commissions starting now! A 10% discount will be applied to Valentine's Day themed commissions, as long as the themes are there!(Examples: Roses, hearts, character eating chocolates, wrapped in ribbons, etc.) Just make sure to specify that you are getting a Valentine's Day commission so I know to apply the discount! (Slots may potentially be added or cut off early!)

Now for the new info: I got off to a bit of a rough start this year with some weird health issues, so I haven't gotten to make a journal until now; I'm managing well now, and wanted to inform you all of some updates regarding my commissions. Having revised my commission sheet, and thinking of new ideas for what I can do differently this year, I'm excited to talk about them!

First off, the part that I'm sure isn't exciting for most people - My commission prices have changed; you can see the new prices listed on my commissions tab, or you can visit the Google Doc link in my profile description to see them as well! Prices have mostly risen by $10, with the exception of my Minimal Shaded Comic Page tier, which I'm pricing a bit higher now; comic pages are a lot of work for me, especially when colored and detailed like I do for that particular tier, so I feel like it is best for my time and effort. I tend to get a bit too consumed with the details+making it look nice and clean! (If we have discussed a commission prior to these price changes, I will honor the price at the time of discussion!)

I also got rid of the painted comic tier, leaving just the sketch, colored sketch, and minimal shaded tiers, since the painted comics were just too much work for me, and took significantly more time than all of the other tiers. Personally, I would rather put all of that effort into an illustration where 1-3 characters can shine, instead of a comic where they would all have to be painted multiple times in different poses and different panels! I do think the painted look is pretty, but I like to abide by the idea that a more simple look for comic pages is better for getting the story/message across.

The Short Form Comic tier has been shortened, from 10 pages, down to 5; I find that I prefer to do less pages per project, as it allows me to focus on my own personal comic projects, and it helps me pay better attention to continuity details on your projects! I've also added a Cover Page tier(cost of this will vary depending on commission type), and a small discount will be given to those who add a Cover Page to their Short Form Comic commission! You are also allowed to get a commission type for your cover page that is different from your comic pages(Ex: Painted cover page + Minimal Shading Comic) if you so choose!

I have been thinking about bringing back some comic YCHs, something that I haven't really done for a long time. These may be more rare in occurrence, and priced lower than my custom comic pages! I likely will be doing these as Colored Sketch YCH comics, priced at $100 per slot! A $40-$100 difference from my custom Colored Sketch comics, depending on the amount of characters/panels!

Lastly, I've updated my Terms of Service! Nothing too crazy, just updated things such as how I now use Square instead of Paypal, added some info that was said in this journal, and changed some wording to hopefully be more specific!

I think that's all the updates I have to share; I think I have some more art to post from last year, aside from that, I'm looking forward to what new things I can bring and work on with you all in the new year!

Hello all you amazing people, I've risen to make one final journal entry for the year!

As the title says, commissions are closed for the rest of this year! I know I had a few slots remaining, but I fell ill last night/yesterday and feel absolutely yucky - so I decided to close commissions a bit early since I feel I wouldn't be able to finish in time before I go on holiday break if I took on any more. I felt like I was about reaching the limit on what I could finish on time anyway, so I suppose closing early works out either way!

Apologies to those who were hoping to get a commission with me before I closed up shop - if you sent me a note wanting a commission beforehand, I will happily keep a slot reserved for you when I open up commissions again in January! To anyone who I've already discussed/been discussing commissions with that haven't been paid for yet, I've already put you down for those slots, and they should be finished on time!

Thank you to everyone who has commissioned me this year or considered me for commissions, or in general has supported/enjoyed my art in some way! I especially enjoyed doing all those holiday commissions that were requested, and look forward to working on the rest of the commissions I have left for this year. I'm not quite on my holiday break yet(which will likely start December 18th and end January 6th), but this may be the last journal I make for the year, so I hope you all have happy holidays(if you celebrate any), and I will see you again next year~

I wanted to try opening and accepting slots early for both November and December in hopes that I could get a head start on commissions these last two months of the year, and give myself an early holiday break! I may potentially update and add more slots+commission types while open, or reopen commissions next month on a smaller scale, maybe for like 2-3 sketch commissions, but again, it's not guaranteed!

Before I get into info about slots - holiday themed commissions are 10% off! This can include any holiday between now and December 31st, and can be anything as simple as there being a candy cane somewhere in the commission(as an example)! Just make sure to specify that you want a holiday themed commission with me and you are good to go with that 10% off!

That being said, here are the commission types I am offering this time around! I've always preferred doing any and all commission work and communication through FA alone, so I honestly don't have any social media accounts, but I may make some if things don't go well here. You may still communicate with me on here, and you're welcome to share your email addresses with me for communication purposes(especially if you currently have commissions with me, or hope to get something in the future!) in case the site goes down.

You may also share some of your social medias if you're comfy doing so, so I may follow you when/if I create accounts for those sites! But for now, email communication is the best option until I can set up social media!

Also, I know I said I would get some sketch commissions set up in my last journal; I'm still working towards it as much as I can! I've run into some complications setting up my account with Square, but it's been sorted out - my family also adopted some puppies super suddenly recently, so I've been switching constantly between caring for them and trying to get commission work done. Hey all!!

Small life update, I've been doing waaay better health-wise, still trying to figure out the main issue however! Things have been hectic, but I'm managing~

I've been trying to post commissions I've done this year, I got through a good chunk of them, am hoping to post the rest soon! I've been working on a new ref sheet for Sage on and off as well, I can't wait to show her off~ 0v0

As for trying out a new payment method for commissions, I was thinking of going with Square! I hear about other artists switching from Paypal to Square for many reasons: It's simpler to use, as told by one of my artist friends! Supposedly you don't even need an account on Square to pay invoices, you receive the invoice through your email and can pay it there? I'll definitely test it out, and if you guys don't have any issues with it, then I may fully switch over!
Another reason I hope to switch over to Square, is because the Paypal fees have gotten crazy over the past few years. Paypal takes a decent chunk out of my earnings, and I don't want to have to raise my commission prices just to cover Paypal's fees if there are other better options out there.
I've also heard lots of nightmares about Paypal withholding money from artists, my friend being one of those artists. While I haven't experienced anything first hand, I would rather not take a chance with that, since this is my only income.

So yep, I may be trying out Square within the coming week! I'll also be out of town/away from my computer next week, and I've been wanting to open for a few sketch commission slots, so be on the lookout for that next week! The sketches will be done on my ipad, so they may look slightly different than my usual stuff(different brushes+program), but the quality will be just as good! Hopefully I can try out Square then, and I'm excited to do more sketches! Right now I'm sticking to more simple commissions, and will slowly work my way up to other commission types later on~

Hey everyone, just a small update, nothing too serious!

Lately I've been having illness-related symptoms that come on randomly; some days I'll feel fine, others I'll feel very nauseous or have strange pain shooting through my limbs(not unbearable though), so I've been trying to take things slowly commissions-wise. Those of you that I'm currently doing commissions for, I know my replies have been slow as well, but I'm trying to get to them when I can! I've been seeing a doctor to get my health sorted out, so I can come back with more consistent commission updates!

I know I said I was offering Valentine's Day themed commissions at a $5 discount in my last journal; my commissions are closed, but if anyone out there is still interested in a Valentine's commission, I might be able to squeeze you in; if you don't care about it being done by Valentine's Day and you just want it done during the month of February, I can definitely hold a slot for you, but it has to be a Valentine's themed commission!

I'm offering this $5 discount during the entire month of February, so you may wait until the next open commissions announcement to get a themed commission if you choose! (Just a heads up though, they may not open again until after Valentine's Day)

Hi everyone, happy 2024!! I meant to post this last week but I got sick for a few days ;v;

I should probably start off by saying that I've reorganized+simplified my commission info; new additions include "Half Body" tiers and "Sketch Page" tiers! I also adjusted the "Short Story/5 Page Comic" commission type, it is now called "Short Form Comic". Only the comic commission types have undergone changes, everything else has stayed the same! These are the changes I've made:

.Wide/double page comic has been discontinued
.New comic commission types have been added! In addition to a painted comic page, you can now get a comic page as a sketch, a colored sketch, or lined w/ minimal shading!
.The standard comic page has been renamed to "Comic Page (painted)", and the price has been updated to $230. I made this change because painting a comic page simply takes too long, and it was difficult for me to live on the original price.
.Due to the addition of comic commission types, the Short Story (5 Page Comic) has updated as well! You can now get a 5 page comic as a sketch, a colored sketch, lined w/ minimal shading, or painted!

I wanted to have my comics to still be more accessible in price, thus the new comic commission types! You can still get a colored comic page(lined with minimal shading) at the original price of the standard comic page! The sketch and colored sketch pages were sort of a last minute idea, but I hope you will like the idea as much as I will enjoy drawing them! Thank you all for sticking with me through these changes! Small lil update, got two things going on here! First thing, I decided very recently that I wanted to identify more as my sona Sage on this account, and I guess I also want to let Sage be my persona as an artist! So from this point forward, you can call me Sage and refer to me as she/her! I will no longer be using the name Flo despite it being part of my account name!

Second thing, I'm thinking about adding a new commission type, though I'm still unsure; depends on how many would be interested/like the idea! It would be an uncolored sketch commission consisting of at least 10 headshots(or possibly 12), all featuring different emotions portrayed by your OC! For reference, it would look sort of like Disney's facial expressions model sheets~ If that sounds of interest to you, feel free to let me know!
