As a life update, I’m pretty permanently in New England for the next decade. I have 3 partners that I love dearly, two awesome dogs and a cat, and I’m a step parent to some pretty fantastic kiddos. Life is good. I’m pretty confident in saying I don’t suffer from any massive depression anymore, I feel healthy, and I am overall quite happy.

In the morning I had some digestive issues, which I thought would pass, and by mid-afternoon I had a 101.3 fever and it hurt to move. Weird, not-even-24-hour-bug, but it was incredibly horrible and I slept/was in bed literally all day.

Hi friends.

I've been on this wacky website for 8, going on 9 years now. It's been nuts.. But I just don't really have as much time, lately anyway.

I guess I've grown up? I work 45 a week at a full time design job as a production artist. It's pretty great and I'm super blessed. But with that comes bills, and seeking out my own health, finally.

I'm doing a lot of research and reading in my minimal spare time on transitioning. I will be pursuing hormone therapy and gender therapy in the next several months and boy is it scary. I am also trying to find a mental health therapist to help me with my brain meat, since usually those two things go hand in hand. That coupled with trying to write up a ten page letter to my family coming out and explaining what's going on, maintaining my home and relationships, trying to exercise and eat even SOMEWHAT well, paying off my thousands of dollars of student loans, car insurance..

Basically living.

But I'm happy. I'm REALLY happy. Getting offline has resulted in a happier life, but I don't have time to play or hang out or do things online. I touched a video game today for the first time in weeks and it was fun.

I guess what it comes down to is I need a clear work/life separation, which I am sure is a challenge for anyone. I'm trying, really I am. I'm working on a commission today, I hope to finish it, but pretty much I can only work on the weekends.

Let me make clear, if I owe you something and you want me to refund you, e-mail me at floebutt at gmail dot com. Part of the brainmeat issue is severe social anxiety and confrontation issues. I literally ave...2-3 hours after work every day to exist before I go to bed. This includes doing things like cleaing the house, taking care of/playing with kitten, spending time with my family here, actually engaging in recreation..I've gone for WEEKS without logging into FA but I do NOT want to forget anyone. This weekend, serious mod, I want to make serious progress on what's owed. I'm embarassed, honestly. But I wasn't expecting Real Job to sap all my time so much :B
