Some additional important points are that these are sketch commissions and i work very quickly. For the communities that are very internally involved (ex. fanbases, roleplaying, art communities in general, etc), what makes them so successful? What do you miss about art communities? If commenting more could bring back together a community of artists, would you leave more comments? How can you improve your role in the community, what will you do to improve your role, and how would you go about inspiring others to do the same?
Also, as a continuously growing artist myself, what are some more things you would like to see from me? Would you like to see more experimenting? More fanart of a particular series? More ocs? More comics? How do you think I can also improve my role in the community?

Updated the "other commission types" section with animation and talksprites as of 1/16/15
ALSO, I'm opening up my Valentine's day sale since there's less than a month to go until Valentine's day. As I've prefaced before, my favorite myth is that of cupid and psyche. So, to me, Valentine's day is a day of appreciating those you love (including friends and family) and reminding them of that love. Last year I tried this commission sale and it was a big success! It is also my biggest commission sale of the year. So let's get into it!
The sale includes 5 to 10 USD off of couple commissions (commissions that include 2 characters) and all commissions will be completed BEFORE Valentine's day (for gift giving purposes).
Sale varies from each commission and does not include: snack packs, normal ACNL commissions (they are already discounted), ACNL comic commissions (for obvious reasons), sprites, bookmarks, and custom adopts (also obvious reasons). However, I am willing to discuss a discount on character sheets!

I have temporarily opened up art trades (in celebration of the dmmd anime wooo) and I only have a few limited slots left. The trades will only be simple sketches, however we are both free to go farther will it if we like what we've drawn (say you like what you've drawn for me and you want to color it then be my guest, and if I like what i've drawn enough then I will do the same).
As for questions:
I'm interested in knowing what you guys think of me having done so many digital pieces lately. I'm a primarily a traditional artist, but have recently taken to digital art for practicing my skills and for experimentation (ie. I have been wanting to traditionally paint but have been experimenting digitally). It is also much quicker to take out the materials required for digital art than traditional. But I mean, everything has it's pros and cons. I guess, what I'm trying to get at is, do you like what I have been doing lately as far as art goes? Would you like to see more of this? Are you interested in more traditional work? If so, what kind of traditional work (painting, ink, sketches, colored pencil, markers, etc)? Also, which do you guys prefer over all? Do you guys like to draw traditionally or digitally and do you prefer seeing one over the other from another person?
And feel free to leave example/links of the artists you are personally inspired from as well as your answers. Or just talk a little idk.

As for the free extra sketch, you get one free extra sketch of the character in your commission for each commission you purchase, meaning that if you have two separate commissions, you get two extra sketches and 3 means 3 etc etc
Aside from that, here is just a written list of base prices for everything I have set up right now:

I'm going to try and complete some mighty fine examples and prices and all of that jazz. Just trying to make some money and get myself out there because i'm worried about college and expenses (which i realize a lot of others are as well).

AS FOR THE 8 INCH PILLOWS
i have recently become interested in the idea of taking custom commissions in which you commission any character you would like [fandom or your own original character] for me to draw and i will make a custom pillow with the image printed on it. It'll be about 8' inches tall and the price will range from around 25 to 35 USD
The viable options will be:
-a print on just one side of the pillow (the front of the chara)
-a print on both sides (the same image on both sides of the plush pillow
-front and reversed image covering the front and back (the front image of the character on one side, and the back side of the character on the reverse)

Help!? Streak of bad luck
Posted 12 years agoSo, I seem to have a stream of bad luck, I finished a drawing in photoshop, it was saved completely and everything, and i accidentally unplugged my computer and when I reopened the file, It was a single layer and it was black. I'm guessing it's corrupted and I've done a bit of research on how to fix it, but I'm still pretty stuck. I use CS2, so if anyone has any tips or help, that'd be mighty gracious of you.

now, i just wanna make sure i'm doin the right thing here ok
i have a paypal (haven't had it too long, but i do have quite a bit of money in there at this point) and i added my online banking account. Ever since I have done that it has said that my access is limited. I can't make purchases, add money to my account, or basically do anything except receive money.
Now, I've never used a paypal until this year and i personally know a lot of people who have used it (frequently). It is now asking me, in order to lift the limit, for proof of my identity, address, and social. Now, trusting the people i know and who are more experienced with this like a good little girl, I am going to ask if it is safe to give them this information and have any of you gone through this already?
I do trust paypal because i know so many people who use it as a trusty payment method, but i would just like some reassurance before i run it by my own mother and ask her for everything necessary to lift the limit.

Posted 12 years agoI didn't even realize that there were so many drawings i hadn't put on here yet. Probably because they were all sketches. I could put some flat colors on them and post them.
I do want to try to be more active on here because I'd like to try to get better at drawing furries and animals in general;;;
I'd also like to get better so i can take some commissions on here. I mean, I don't mind taking them now, but I don't feel extremely capable. It'd certainly be good practice though...
