My bra died 2 hours before I was done with work to heat stroke. Had to peel it off like a wetsuit. And I'm a guy, if you're a guy with breasts and don't wear a bra you don't know the struggle.

Last night I completed a "scuba update" or refresher course, since I hadn't been diving in years or keeping up with new standards. I am glad I did, there were many new changes in procedure and practice I had no clue. I do have a trip coming up where scuba is an option and I really didn't want to look like a noob if I chose to get wet.

The in-pool session went by quickly, after I got my frog-legs back I feel confident I can handle myself like I used to in the old days when we breathed off the tank valve because regulators were for wimps! I'm breathing a lot of air which is to be expected until my fluidity returns; I was not a part of the water and off-balance. That feeling of flow should return with experience and reconditioning.

This course is well worth the time and money, ask your nearest dive shop you rusty frogmen and ladies!

It's becoming less fun to play army in SL. I'm good at the game and play clean, and have developed ways of winning against those who don't. I'm bored again, there's no challenge.

Whenever we're outnumbered someone upstairs decides to throw out a tank which gets countered with a gunship which draws fighter/bombers at which point fleetships are called in; it's no longer the foot-soldier's battle. I could log out and not be missed once 3+ vehicles are in play.

I give honest thanks to Alliance Navy and Chaos, you have always acted in character and I expected everything I/we got. No harm done.

All the little armies, I shrug and go out to work on a few things as long as you tolerate, or I get bored.

My SO says the rest of the grid should be grateful so many trolls and discontents have the SLMC to go to, otherwise who knows where they'd be causing problems.

I'm still fighting when I feel like it, bad thing is at this point I wouldn't miss it if I did hang it up.

If the series follows it's normal 26 episodes, with 2 opening and 2 finale episodes on the same day, that would make for 24 weekends of new shows. If it were to start on February 28th the finale would fall on August 8th... the weekend of Bronycon. I posted as much in the TN Bronies forum as well.

Wouldn't that be the greatest "Thank you" a show could give it's fans?

My stash of furry swag got a significant reduction this weekend. Fangcon's charity auction to benefit Tiger Haven gave me the chance to turn treasure into cat food. My hopes of aiding and abetting the goals of TH were met and I had a good time watching the auction in furson.

A British military vest (with more pockets than I had mags to fill), two canteens plucked from a pile of a dozen or so (only used to hold quarts of air so far), furry and non-furry comics from the 80's and 90's I was glad to pass on (before they got moldy or mouse-eaten), a garage-kit Asuka Langley Soryu figure (un-molested by angels). I was astounded by the "paw pride" badge that went for significantly more than when i acquired it at MFM '09; someone just handed it to me in the hotel and i thought it might come in handy in the future.

Knowing the crowds aren't ginormous at Fangcon and the con attendees aren't likely to be major shareholders in anything, the money my stuff raised was pleasing. I merely provided the motivation; I didn't feed the kitties, you the bidders did.

I'd kiss you all but you smell like con-goers.

Just finished rebuilding the rear brakes on my Ford Ranger. Damn that hurts. Now I know why repair technicians get paid so much; fair compensation for doing brake jobs straight.

For the record I did it for less than $200 in parts including 8 12oz. bottles of Yeungling Light. The adjusters were the crux of the problem and main impediment to rapid and easy repair, they didn't set the shoes properly when running and wouldn't let them release when I started changing them.

If memory serves I agreed to rebuild the rear brakes on a Ford F-100 a few years back in exchange for an AK-47. She lost the truck to her cousin after probate and so I lost my chance at the rifle. In other places in the world you can trade a chicken for an AK-47 so I guess you could say I didn't lose much, however you can eat a chicken.

Not going to Mephit meant I spent the long weekend at the house. During that time I watched over our family kitty as she died, I buried her amongst her foregone family beside the house. I had to have my truck towed home after a part wore out, then half a day fixing the Vokeymobile.

The gods knew where I needed to be, and took care in ensuring I was here to deal with everything; possibly they also kept me from harm unbeknownst. I try not to fight it.

Being blessed can be a bitch.

Missing Mephit, someone's about to win the hotel room lottery when I cancel Monday morning.

All is well, no major drama or tragedy. In fact i will have moolah for a few pet projects! Yay me!
