Hey guys! I come with a big update slash info on my commissions, a post I‘ve wanted to make for a little while.

As you know I was in autistic burnout for aboout 2 years though only the second year really hit me hard and disabled me to the point of being unable to work and cope with daily life and chores. That also effected my art and my commission queue. I‘m still working my way through it (thank you to my clients for being so understanding! I truly have such luck with my clients you‘re always so kind!!) and after a lot of thought I‘ve come to the decision to changing my commission services from here on.

Autistic burnout isn‘t just something that happens to you, it can actually alter your brain and functions longterm and unfortunately that seems to be true in my case. Art has been….very hard. Even now that I‘m finally out of the nasty hell that is burnout, working on commissions is still very difficult and I‘ve found a lot of anxiety and stress in it which I‘m very unhappy about :‘)
Maybe I will at some point go back to my brain functioning normally in that regard….but for now that means that I‘ll have to change things up and set up rules and boundaries for the sake of my mental health, sanity and productivity which I hope you‘ll understand.
I have closed my commissions a little while ago due to a death in the family and they will remain closed until I‘ve finally worked through my commission queue. After that, these are the changes you can expect:


Commissions will close and open at my own leisure
My commissions will close more often instead of being open at all times. This way I can control more what comes in and when.

Commission types will be specified slots
When I open my commissions I might only open them for specific types of commissions like headshots, 1 character only, no background, pre-set backgrounds, fullbodies, sketch styles, fully rendered styles etc. Whatever I feel like I can handle or what I simply want to do at that point in time, will be specified. This is, again, instead of having my commissions open for anything, at all times.

More specifications on body types/anatomy for YCHs
YCHs might be more strict on not giving me characters that require me to change the base too much. For example if the character slot in the sketch base is rather slender I‘d ask you to please not give me a muscular character because that would require extra work I might not be able to handle.

Raising pokemon commission prices
My pay-what-you-want pokemon commissions were incredibly helpful when I was really desperate for money and for that I‘m extremely grateful! I also just really enjoy drawing pokemon (it‘s my longest special interest) but now that I‘m finally in a financially stable position I wouldn‘t want to undersell myself anymore so I will most likely raise my pokemon commission prices in the style you‘ve been seeing at least a little. That way I can also control them a bit more because at some points I was being flooded with them (which I am SO grateful for!! but I just couldn‘t handle that kind of work load anymore)


I hope you can understand these changes :‘) All of this is for my own well-being as well as to ensure I have the energy to make good art within a reasonable amount of time that my clients will be happy with.
