Adoptables
Posted 12 years ago- They are concerning me.
Especially with the LE's coming up. For limited editions especially, I texture completely free hand, no reference, radio on and the window open, letting the breeze come through. What I mean is, it just free lance, free spirit, and fun. With SO many artists using the adoptable method to make money (sure I don't blame them it is a good business model).. It's going to come to the stage where one day I might accidentally clash. This worries me. I don't want to be accused of copying any particular colors / style / design but while artists are milking this I think its is going to become an inevitable side effect of trying to be unique.
This is more me voicing my concerns than anything else. With so many 'designs' being coined by various people - if the inevitable happens I simply will hold firm. I really will.

Exclusively at the new club Furry, Raawr Avatars will release their Kitty and Dark Spot Designs their Lion in a massive double party!

Just a quick journal (mostly to get rid of the black Friday deal journal X3) to announce that there is going to be a new addition to the Raawr lineup very very soon.
I admit I was really trying hard to get an av done for Xmas, but since the husky took longer than anticipated, I kinda ran out of time.
I *think* I'm ready to post a few screen shots, and aiming to send out the beta for late next week so stay tuned. I'll get the pics done tomorrow if I have time and upload them here for the preview.
Notably this time, there are a couple of things I've tried to improve on; the rigged legs are now 'almost' completely seamless as they join to the body, and this new av should (in theory) work with rigged mesh hair. Well it works with the several I bought and I'm happy with the way things look, but of course as always you will have to try out demos of rigged mesh hair in world.
So want to know what it is yet?
It's a .......... (I'll post the preview soon and you can see for yourselves! :p ) Teehee.

A huge huge thankyou to the three venues IYC, YIFF and ENC for three fantastic parties.
Also thankyou for everyone who attended and showed their support, and of course congratulations to the lucky winners!
After a monster weekend of non stop partying, I'm going to go find a nice quiet little corner and hide away now XD

Husky Release Announcement.
Posted 13 years agoHi all. The husky is going to be released next Friday, at YIFF and IYC, and there will possibly be an after-party on the Saturday.
Most of the colours are done now, and I'm boxing things up and getting ready for it. I'm aiming for 20 colours in total, and as with previous avatars, I will post a screenshot of all of the available colours once they are ready.
I'll be happy to see this husky finally released into the wild! :D

It's waay too early to post anything, but I have a new avatar in development.
After a week or two of holiday I'm back on the wagon and rumbling towards completion of another critter. As soon as I have something a bit more solid, I'll post a few preview screen shots.
The tiger has been very well recieved, and I offer a very warm and fluffy thankyou to all of the staff involved in the various promotions, and release parties.
That's all for now! ♥

Raawr Avatars announces the Tiger!
Posted 13 years ago(Finally!) Sorry it's taken so long. I won't make excuses, this has been a tough avatar to make, with the move over to mesh. As much learning has happened as creating.
There is no official ETA yet, it still needs to have final touches, and then be sent over to the testers.
This avatar has a few more features than previous avatars and I have tried to improve on my texturing skills.
There's not a lot more I can say at this stage except I will continue to keep up my 'haven't slept in a month' appearance to get this finished as soon as possible.
