Slowing down on Kinktober
General | Posted 2 months agoWell, this wasn't an easy decision but I think I gotta slow down. Keeping this pace has had a real toll on my sleep schedule and it's starting to catch up to me pretty bad. I work the next 12 days straight so I can't count on a break for a while. My plan for now is this:
I have 11 stories out right now. Including the one I'd originally intended for today, I would like to get at least four more done, but to compensate I'll be making them more theme-dense.
I'd like to do the following:
Ghoulfucker/Medical Play/Cardiophilia/Weird Anatomy
Tulpa/Heat Cycle/Coiling/Drugs
Reverse Petplay/Breathplay/Absorption/Mind Control
and lastly my wild card day, closer to Halloween, so I'll talk about details of that one later. It'll include a friend's character as well so I gotta hash out some deets with em to make sure I get it all right.
But yeah, that's the announcement. Thank you for your understanding. At least with the new approach, I don't need to worry about deliberately trying (and often failing) to make them so short this time, hm? I wasn't super happy with the most recent story's quality, so for now, I'm gonna focus on fixing my sleep schedule and hope it helps.

Oh right, Kinktober (and updates)
General | Posted 2 months agoSo as I've been doing this for six days already as I write this, yeah, it's official, I'm participating in Kinktober, thanks to a writer I befriended on Bluesky.
Less an announcement and more an explanation,
I'm not using a standard list. I pretty much just wrote down a bunch of things I'm into to some degree and then paired them up.
With only a few exceptions, I don't actually know what I'm going to be doing for a given day! Lunch break hits, and I get to improvising.
On principle there will be no major refining once-overs nor is there really time for it. I'm throwing these out there in one draft each.
In terms of quantity, this is the most consistent I've been in a hot minute and I think it's helping me speed up my writing in general. In terms of quality, it's gonna be all over the place, but I hope they've been (and will continue) to be fun reads.
As for other updates,
I've also got a finished commission to upload probably this week, so look out for that.
Nobody's Servant 2.0 - By A Thread will also continue... eventually. I've written fragments for a few chapters out, it's just a matter of bringing them together. Next arc is going to be especially consequential so I wanna make absolutely certain I stick that landing. Thank you all for your patience!

Taking one more 2000 word commission
General | Posted 2 months agoI’m in need of new glasses so I wanna add one more story to my queue. Limit of up to 2000 words for now, I’m trying not to take on more than I’m certain I can deliver in a timely manner. Check out my TOS by clicking here and see if I’m a good fit for you!
Commissions Open 08-16-2025
General | Posted 4 months agoAs I'm mostly doing quality passes on my usual work right now anyway, which isn't super interesting for me, I figure I might mess around and take a writing commission or two. $0.05 USD per word or $50 USD per thousand; if your commission takes place in my setting you get 10% off.

Chapter Delay
General | Posted 5 months agoGonna need a little more time to make this one work. It feels a little weird postponing what's basically setting up to be a big ol cliffhanger itself, but I'll be more comfortable pushing it to the following Tuesday.
July Hiatus
General | Posted 6 months agoChapters will continue weekly until the end of June, at which point I'll be taking a break for at least a month. I'm reaching the end of my backlog here and I wanna ensure I can build up another to ensure the best quality I can possibly deliver for this next arc. A lot is about to happen very quickly, and I promise it'll be worth the wait.
Back In Motion
General | Posted 7 months agoWell, with three uploads in three days, Nobody’s Servant is officially off hiatus. I’ll probably fall back on a schedule of every other Tuesday after a while, but I have enough of a backlog to edit through that I can guarantee weekly uploads through June and prooobably keep it up even a bit longer than that.
Thank you all so much for your patience. I’m excited to show you where this goes.

Internal Audit - Updated + Sequel In Progress
General | Posted 9 months agoIt's been a while! I feel like that's always the case though, huh.
But, with the commissioner's approval, I've revisited Internal Audit to bring it up to my current standards, as well as to better set up a sequel.
You can find Internal Audit here! https://www.furaffinity.net/view/43130018/
Be on the lookout for the follow-up by sometime next month. After that, it's full steam ahead on Nobody's Servant 2.0.

Act 1 Complete! What's Next?
General | Posted a year agoAct 2! ...Eventually!
I'm gonna be taking a somewhat long break between acts to work on some things I've been putting off.
Ref sheets, for one, there are a few characters I wanna give some visual representation to. Most of them will not be from Nobody's Servant, sorry. My priorities right now are Anita, Sengsef, Ravvanyenma, Yhana's goons she "recruited" in Welcome Aboard, and potentially some overhauls for Yhana and Eren's refs.
Short stories as well. Most predominantly, the sequel to Internal Audit, which I've already got in the works, so you won't be waiting too long for that now. Beyond that, I wanna show off more locales other than Paliputra. All of these, including Internal Audit and its sequel, are set Post-Melancholic Era, as opposed to Nobody's Servant which is set long before. ...Something definitely happens in the middle to warrant such a big dark age but we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?~
I may even be able to share some more details about RRRPG. I think I have a strong foundation for it right now, and I think it'd be cool to make a lightweight version available for free. If anyone feels a desire to get some friends together and make their own adventure in the Ravel, consider this project my full, unambiguous support.
As I sign off, thank you. It's been many years and even a couple of re-drafts to get to this point, and the whole thing came out over 128000 words long. It's not been a short journey, so I appreciate you all the more for taking it with me.

99,500+ Words??? Also Plans For The Future Also Thank You
General | Posted a year agoIf you've been following me for a long time, like a LONG long time, you might remember my first account over on Deviantart, before I even fired up an account here. If you remember that, you might remember Aberration, which I consider to be the first draft of at least three major acts of Nobody's Servant. Not accounting for minor edits and overhauls there were actually some others after that, which never saw the light of day and were comparatively very condensed proofs of concept to cover the rest but that's neither here nor there SO
Aberration was a little over 77,000 words long. Not bad in terms of quantity even if the quality left a lot to be desired and of course it did, I redid the damn thing four more times counting Nobody's Servant. Now, this version here, I originally thought "Yeah, this'll be kind of a big story but nothing monumental" and well, you see how that's gone. SO (again)
Nobody's Servant, in its final form (or perhaps penultimate if I ever entertain the idea of a master revision before looking into print but that too is neither here nor there), is planned to be a five-act story. As of right now I would say I am probably about 75% of the way through this first act, surrounding our arrival and inevitable departure from Iyakamraa where the stakes are established in full. So I think, to make this project a little more digestible both for myself and you readers I appreciate beyond words (words, I'll remind you, I consider to be sort of my thing so let that say a lot), I'm gonna officially chop it up into five "books". Functionally, this shouldn't change much, but ideally it'll one; help set a baseline of anticipation for where the stakes are at after each major turning point, two; give you a better roadmap for where we're actually at, and three; make visiting the project in its complete form a little less daunting than starting at the foot of an absolute literary leviathan potentially ten times the length of its very first incarnation.
Lastly, if you're still reading this, I wanna say thank you so much for sticking with me this long. I don't mean just this journal, I mean the entire time. On that note, if you're one of the ones who's been here since I started Nobody's Servant, you were reading it when it was just a side creative outlet I had the ill foresight to attempt indulging during my college years. December 24th, 2015, that's how long it's been. Told myself 2016 was gonna be the year I wrangled this thing into a form I could take pride in, and that didn't really happen. And it didn't really happen for a while after that either. At this point, I feel like I've harped on the uncertainty of the future in general enough, so I'll nod at it that much and no more, but while I have it, I wanna use as much of it as I can telling this story with everything I have. Hell, my TRPG group didn't even know this at the time but during those college days I used the events of the campaign I sent them on to determine historical details that became very important at the end of the previous draft, which I probably could not have finished without them. You don't go to those kinds of length for a project and settle for it not being done.
That was kind of a long last point so I'll try it again. Maybe it's not so far beyond words after all.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the interest, patience, advice, and motivation you have given me. It means the world to me. Hell, it even means a lot of worlds.
There's a whole Ravel of em in here.

Resuming Activity
General | Posted a year agoI've been quietly doing a full revision of Nobody's Servant; no major changes, just prettying it up, rewording some things, standardizing vocabulary, generally making it sparkle a little more. I'm almost caught up as of writing this, with only a few chapters to go. If you've got an account there and you prefer the layout, I've also been putting these on wattpad: https://www.wattpad.com/story/36672.....dy%27s-servant
As for new chapters, those are coming along too! I like to have three in reserve in case need for revisions becomes apparent. Expect those to start rolling out sometime before the end of the month. These are gonna be a little heavy; I went on hiatus about them after all, but the world's not getting any less grim and if there's one thing I've learned since then, it's that time is precious.
Additionally, as I work on all this, a sequel to Internal Audit is in the works, so be on the lookout for that too!

General | Posted 2 years agoThere's a lot in this one but I'll keep each point short as I can.
Nobody's Servant is takin a while I know; my focus has been elsewhere lately. I've been working on a tabletop game based in the Ravel, with the long term goal of eventually making these materials publicly available via itch.io or something. There's not gonna be an awful lot of spitshine on it but I wanna make sure it's at least functional and detailed enough someone else can pick it up and tell their own stories with it too.
Next point is about subject matter; this is also feeding the delay a lil bit. The next few chapters have to do with military devastation and collateral damage. Given current events, I don't feel like there's a way I can really tastefully bring that forward right now, nor do I particularly have the stomach to work on it. In the meantime, I'm writing ahead, so at such time that I can finish the next bit, I'll have a handful of chapters to upload, so it's not all bad.
Next, edits. I'm updating some terminology; my conlangs have drifted a lot such that the species names "xeeok" and "moku" don't really fit anywhere etymologically now in a way that makes sense. Adjusting for this, I'll be revising every instance of these terms to "morph" and "chatter" respectively.
Lastly, a life update. This could be nothing, but I won't know for a few more weeks and I must confess the uncertainty has been impacting my life a lot lately.
But my liver is exhibiting signs of severe damage on par with someone ready to keel over dead from hepatitis. They've confirmed I don't have hepatitis, but now it's kind of a mystery as to what's wrong. I'm not a heavy drinker either, and my diet is pretty varied. Presently, I'm avoiding alcohol and ibuprofen, and sticking to my so far successful efforts at losing weight. In the near future, I'll be getting subsequent bloodwork done to see if that made a difference. If it does, excellent; I tweak my lifestyle just a little bit and that takes care of that. If it doesn't... well, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
I've already had my whole personal crisis about this, believe me, so now all that's left to do is wait and see. I'm trying to stay hopeful.

Chapter Delay
General | Posted 2 years agoYeah, I know it happened a lil bit sooner than I anticipated, but the consequences of poor wrist care have caught up with me. Typing is a lil uncomfortable even with compression gloves and a brace but I'm still chipping away at it. The mind is willing but the flesh is weak, and all that.
Quite shamelessly, I'll say May will be a slow month too because you know I'm gonna be all up in that new Legend of Zelda. That said, I'm not abandoning my goal of making at least some progress, but in this case, I'll be working on the raffle winner's story, so look forward to that!

Closing Commissions + Update
General | Posted 4 years agoThings have mostly stabilized for now, and even though I'm coming up on the slow season of my job, I'm going to be closing commissions for now. With how exhausting life has been, as long as I'm going to be looking at a lower workload, I'd like to secure a period where I don't have to worry about much. I'll probably open back up in the spring.
Other than that, I'm still working ahead on Nobody's Servant! I've got outlines for several chapters in the making, with a couple coming up on "ready to post", but between now and then, I've got one or two NSFW one-offs I'll be uploading, maaaybe more. Those of you here primarily for my series, I hope you won't mind the time I take to wring all this sin out of my brain, but we will get back to our usual program soon!

Near-Future Plans!
General | Posted 5 years agoHappy 2021, everybody!
Normal hasn't changed much for me; I'll be rather busy as usual, but I've decided I wanna go through with opening for commissions soon.
Before that, I've got one more short story I'd like to finish; I've been setting it aside a lot just because it's been such an involved project, but it's close to done. It's got vore themes (because of course it does), but isn't vore-centric, which should round out my examples of offerings pretty well. So we've got...
A Change In Perspective for accessible vore.
Welcome Aboard for NSFW vore.
The Healing Process for stories without vore at all.
and soon, Occupational Hazards, as an example of what "do whatever" looks like for me.
I'm still figuring out pricing and writing up a document for what I do/don't do, but upon finalizing that, I can probably consider myself open by late January or early February.

Revisions + Updates!
General | Posted 5 years agoI'm in the process of going through and editing all chapters currently on-site; this will include the official re-titling as Nobody's Servant. Despite having started the rewrite to bring the story up to par with my current abilities and state of the lore... well, it's been a few years. I'm even further on now and like most writers (and so-called writers like myself, hoo hoo) I have a tendency to worldbuild without writing things down to such an extent that it entirely shifts the frame of what I would even be writing.
These aren't drastic changes, just a little bit of polishing so that I'm satisfied and it flows better. You'll know when I'm finished when the next chapter is out.
Beyond that, some other things in the works too! I've got some short stories coming along; I haven't ruled out the possibility of commission work, I find I work a lot faster if I've got someone to smooth out ideas with so it's feasible. That said, I gotta have some examples of what clients could expect.
First one up is a look into exorcism gone wrong, set on the world of Kuyjir, which some of you may have a vague memory of.
The next is of Yhana having some fun with some would-be thieves. That one's a lil explicit and nasty... no, it's REALLY explicit and nasty. For all you weirdos into that, something to look forward to. 2200 words in and nobody's inside anybody else just yet, so on one hand that means it's gonna be a bit long-winded, but on the other that means you can expect the same love and care in it that I put into my more accessible things.
And of course, Aberr-- I mean, Nobody's Servant, is still in the works. Running an entire tabletop RPG campaign set in the same world 20 years after the fact has made me very excited to retroactively stage-set, so to speak. I'm GONNA finish this story and I can't wait to share it with y'all.

Commissions, theoretically
General | Posted 8 years agoLong story short, I'm sitting at the edge of hard times and nowhere is hiring. That said, I've decided to turn to an alternative mean of potential income, like people have been saying I should for so long.
I'm not open yet, but I'd like to be, soon. The one thing that stands in the way is my indecision on pricing. I don't want to short anyone. The average price seems to be 0.01 cents per word, or $10 dollars for every 1000 words. I want to remain affordable but at the same time I've been warned against underselling myself.
Odds are, I'll hit close to that mark, but I think I'll keep it lower for whomever the first few commissioners are. Now I just need to put myself out there once I'm ready to go.

The average price seems to be 0.01 cents per word, or $10 dollars for every 1000 words. I want to remain affordable but at the same time I've been warned against underselling myself.

THE WOOORLD OF TOMORROW
General | Posted 9 years agoGoodness, it's been forever and a half, hasn't it?
I'm surprised anyone still follows me, to be honest. In any case, I plan to make a return here real soon. Writing is definitely back in motion, and I've began to try my hand at drawing though I don't know how often I'll be doing that.
Within the next few days, I will resume posting my work here, though, truth be told, there's not much new. Not yet, anyway. But I think I've caught that rare specter known as motivation once more, so here's hoping it leads us all somewhere nice, right?

That was fast.
General | Posted 10 years agoSo I may have finished faster than I thought I would/could.
That said, uploads will commence before too long. First thing on here will be a redo of one of my longer stories from before.

Getting Started
General | Posted 10 years agoSo I think perhaps I'll get the ball rolling here soon. I've got stories to upload and I just need to draw up a thumbnail for it. That might take me a while but I have every intention of doing it. Once I do that, I'll start posting. Until then, I guess I'll just be stockpiling story material for any who care to stop by and check it out.
