Posted a year agoHi hi! I lost the password to this account. Like so long ago. I just finally able to get back in and pretty much brute my way in on what password i was using. I would of reset it but I dont have access to the email that was associated to this account. Anyways, enough excuses. Its been to long, i feel so bad.

2023 Goals

Anyways, lets talk about some goals I have and why I chose them.
Goals:
- Start making comics!! (Probably gonna start with some short ones before going into a longer one)
- Learn 3D art in Blender
- Get better at my art
- Be consistent at uploading my art
- Start a Patreon
- Make a website
- Make a Carrd
Lets start talking about the comics. I have some ideas for some short stories. Though, turning them into comics is easier said then done. I have some idea on how to approach making a comic. But, I would love some help. If any of you got any suggestions, tips, and advice. I would appreciate it. :D
This is defiantly the hardest goal. I have zero 3d modeling experience. So, I expect this to take alot of time to learn. I cant wait to begin my journey to learn 3d art. Hopefully I will be able to make at least one 3d diaper theme drawing before the end of this year. If I can, I will share it. Like alot, ALOT!! lol
Lets talk about getting better at my art. That is vague by it self. So, let me explain a bit. I feel like there is some key things in my art that is lacking to make it really my own. If that makes sense. First, is how I draw eyes. I still dont like it and how im doing it know. It hard to do it on some uncommon or weird angles of the face. Second, is the shading. I like how I shade but I would preferable like to find a consistent method. Since, im always slighty changing how im shading. Thirdly and lastly, is the backgrounds in my art. I love how I draw backgrounds but im slow at it. I defiantly need to draw more and get faster with time.
Also, it probably doesn't help that I have pretty bad imposter syndrome with all my art. Feeling like that wasnt even me. Like im proud I drew it because I know I did. But, it doesnt feel like I did. Like it was made by someone else entirely. But, im not here to vent so I will leave it there.
I would preferably like to have one or more drawings uploaded once a week. I feel like its not the hardest thing to keep up with. Unless life gets in the way again. Also, maybe even be able to make this a career. Instead of me working part time jobs.
I feel like a Patreon would be great to maybe show some exclusive art, behind the scenes, polls for what I should draw, commission discount, early artwork, and maybe some more. Im currently working on it and hopefully soon will having it up.
I would like to make a website. Showcasing some of my best art. With as well as a archive and about me page. Then maybe a commission page where you can fill out a forum. Ideas... ideas... who knows. First, I need to decide what I will use to "build" the website.
Making a carrd would probably be a good idea to link everything!

Been busy with life as usual but also been quite demotivated at drawing. I don't know why but I just now slowly started getting back into the groove of drawing again. So, be prepared some upcoming art. I had this sketch I did awhile back so I cant wait to finish that first. Some of you may know what sketch im talking about. Anyways, im doing fine and im alive.

Critiquing my own art!!!
Posted 3 years agoCritiquing my own art and putting it in a journal. Starting this again. I was first gonna do it on my first post then I just procrastinated, but im back doing this. If you think I miss anything feel free to tell me in the comments.

I feel like there is 2 main issues with the drawing. First off, is the composition. A quarter of it has barely anything of interest. With nothing to lead the viewer to the focal point. I feel like I could of maybe added something more or change the composition to not make it so empty in the top right.
The other main issue is the shading. I should of added some reflected light. Also, probably not make the shadows as dark. As it makes it seem like its a very direct light but I wanted to seem like they were outside. I dont know if that makes sense or not.
Though I think I did the clothing folds very well. I also think the anatomy and pose work very well. I also think I did well with the plushie and the shirt design.

I think there is only really one issue that is very noticeable with this drawing. The lack of consistency in the details and shading. I think the shading and rendering is very good in this drawing but there is some parts where I put more effort into even tho its not the focal point. Some parts of it are not as detailed. Which I think is a bad thing. Though, I could be overthinking it.
I should of pushed some of the saturation with the terminator on the diaper. As I think that would make it pop more. Though I am very happy with how I drew the diaper in this drawing. I am also really happy with the pose. I am very surprised and happy with the shading of course.

I feel like I could of push some of the values in this drawing. Like, with the light. I could of made some parts of the hoodie a bit brighter than it is. Also, with the wings. I could of probably pushed some of the reflected light to show the form a bit better.
The folds of the hoodie is alright but I don't think it's too believable. I feel like some folds are doesn't make the most sense. Especially the folds on the left sleeve. I dont know, I could be overthinking and overanalyzing this one a bit much.
I am happy with how the expression came out. I am also happy with how the wings look. As I don't really draw wings. Defiantly a skill set I might need to practice on eventually.
