In case anyone is wondering about the slight delay in reply's from the main DVC websites? Angie (ciara) is my partner and the main person you talk to on a regular basis for questions is on a mini vacation to visit family. She will be returning tuesday at some point but until then please be patient we will get back to you and thank you for the support.
Everyone needs some time off here and there to relax and recoup.

Oh and no worries about webstore orders as we are still right on track with the 1-2wk send out time. we are all still working very hard at DVC to get the product out to you as fast as possible with the holiday season just around the bend. Skull orders will be started this week and i am currently in the process of making a second mold to speed up the production process and get those skulls out in a timely manor. Most orders are new special varieties so expect some really neat looking pics to be posted in these next few weeks.

Now for the furmeet.

I will be attending the Arlington Furmeet around 1pm this sunday. Might bring my Flurry partial but not sure yet. This is only the 2nd time i have tried the meet so i am excited but also a little nervous about seeing everyone so please dont be offended if I am quiet/shy or off in a corner a bit. ^^;
My co-worker Synnal will be coming along as well, not sure if drakharr and his daughter will attend just yet so thats going to be a surprise.

so i want to run some panels for TFF but i am very curious what you would all like to see or hear about from DVC or even fursuit related stuff in general?

Sorry cant do any mold panels.

However i can do panels on fursuit construction, extreme suits, smooth-on materials, how to panels on using our products and stuffs.

I am now working on Eerie Sergal a dark blue and white northern female sergal. Today is the final stage I will be trimming and gluing the fur to the resin mask then do final airbrush touch-ups at the end. Going to get as much done as possible but will stop streaming at 11pm.

Its been a long time but I am finally starting to stream again on the weekends and here comes the second mask from my commission pile.
I am now working on Eerie Sergal a dark blue and white northern female sergal. Today the tape pattern work has been confirmed so now I am finishing up with the tracing and cutting of the fur pieces. Once i finish cutting I can pre-shave some of the parts and start pinning and sewing everything together. Going to get as much done as possible but will stop streaming at 11pm.

Well i haven't posted a real update journal in some time but with lots going on this month and more to come figure i would give everyone a heads up.

Back in Feb i flew to a Katsucon for a week in DC area to hang with my friends and also in that time I made a 1964 foam godzilla costume in under 3 weeks with still keeping up with webstore orders and all the molds that need made and updated on a weekly basis.
Thankfully it was a great success and our cosplay group won Best In Show! godzilla received lots of praise and many old school monster fans were totally thrilled to see the suit in person.
Sadly to due being sucked into the Skit practice, judging, masquerade and helping out my 2 friends in the giant mascot suits I did not get to really meet up with friends or anything much that weekend. I also did not get to wear my Rin costume so it was a waste of money to pay for the baggage. I do love helping my friends and this was a great experience but NO MORE SKITS! When i go to a convention to have fun and NOT WORK that exactly what i want to avoid. There was no time to do anything other then skit stuff, eat and sleep. -_-

So I apologize now if I didn't recognize you or kinda ran buy carrying the godzilla body around Or seemed angry. I was just in a big rush from one place to the other and didnt have time to think much less remember names or faces. ^^; everything was a blur that weekend.

I hove no major plans for Akon and plan to keep it that way other than running around in costume the whole time having fun and meeting people. ^-^

Also I was very sick after the convention and did not return home till tuesday the next week. when i got home i was still sick and recovering so work was slow.
Next thing i know there are 6 pages of work on my board to catch up on.
I did attend Texas Furry Fiesta for a couple days and was mostly hanging with Ino and her boyfriend Cerros which was mega good time which sure did make up from the past weekend at Katsucon.
Got to meet a bunch of great people and MEGA THANKS to Cerros for letting me borrow a little table space in the dealers room Sunday. ^-^

Now for the past 2 weeks I have been working 12hr days half the time sometime more trying my best to catch up on webstore orders and get ahead as i will be leaving again next week for a Kickstarted I helped Fund last year. So yet again I will be gone Tuesday-Thursday flying to L.A and hanging with Riley, Ino and Cerros.

Going to check out the fashion district and hope to find some exotic furs and to the ADI Tour wednesday with Riley. So much excitement!

Also I do have a sergal mask in the works plus a Bird, deer clays sculpts they are all on the side for now until there is more free time to finish sculpting and webstore orders plus molds are under control.

We are also starting to prepare for Anthrocon in July! Plus I plan to start on the list of Mask commissions I took in November so keep an eye out for journal updates on streams and progress. Lots to due in these few months. O_O

We are looking into the option of flying to Anthrocon for 2014 and shipping off a pallet of product and display materials for the Convention center.

I really have no idea where to start with this process but need to calculate pricing for fly/shipping vs driving 32hrs straight -_-

Does anyone have experience with shipping pallet costs for UPS or Fedex and what the process is?
