Was not happy with the first wing design so using lighter materials and a new method of attachment. now the fun part of beefing up the skeleton and making the fingers.

Looking for a new home!
General | Posted 13 years agoMy male flying squirrel is looking for a new home. He is not socialized to humans and prefers to stay in the cage or use you as only a human tree.
He is going with all him things including a nice large cage, toys, food, water bottle and treats.

General | Posted 13 years agoHello everyone! We're back from our 2 week away-ness. Quick recap:
Drove 25+ hours from Texas to Pennsylvania in an extremely cramped SUV. The passengers included Wolfaya,
ciaradragon, 
monoyasha, and Ciara's chihuahua puppy, Rune. There was no extra space. Long drive. Many stops. We called the night before we arrived to see how early we could check in, and they told us Noon, since we were coming from TX and didn't know exactly how long it would take us to get there. Upon finding out we could check in at noon we drove through the night, and arrived about 11:45 to a rather crowded hotel on Wednesday, much to our surprise. The dudes out front were pushing for us to hurry and get out all of our stuff which wasn't really easy to do with 2 tired people from driving and a 5 month pregnant woman. So Mono goes inside to check in so we have somewhere to place all our crap. Surprise, they say we have to wait until 3. This is us going O_O because we have a crap ton of stuff, due to all the stuff for the table. And they want us to hang around for 3 hours twiddling our thumbs after having like.. no sleep for 25+. SO Ciara goes in and explains the situation to someone at the counter and bam! They give us a room right away. (I don't think Mono explained it very well..) so we're able to unload (took 4 hotel carts) and get everything up to our room.
Cue Wed, relax night.
Thurs gets there and we relax for a good portion of it, then go down around noon to reg. We reg, but have to wait until 2 to get our stuff taken to the loading dock to have it brought into the Dealer's Room for setup. Apparently if the cart has 4 wheels you aren't allowed to take it in yourself. >< Which was super dumb, but apparently it's a rule of Pittsburg. Still dumb. So we go back up to the room and watch TV until 2, then load up the car and take it to the loading dock. We get in finally, and have everything brought to our table for set-up. We're in there until almost 7 before we're finished and pleased with how it looks. We then leave, and head back to the room for more relaxing.
Friday, we have to wake up early to get down to the dealer's room before they open so we're ready for peoples. They finally open, and we get SWAMPED. We were definitely not expecting that. Mono is basically busy the entire day installing fans and doing minor repairs on peoples' heads. At one point we had to turn people away because the heads were just getting backed up. A small note here. If your head is gross.. DON'T take it to someone and ask them to work on it. That's just wrong and disgusting. Clean and disinfect your shizz. There weren't many that were like that, but she did have to turn away one or two just for the sheer gross factor. Also, a note to makers; you wouldn't guess it maybe, but it seems like EVERYONE would like a fan in their mask. You should give them the option. :) They really do add a lot of comfort to the wearer. After the dealer's room closed we went back to the room and died. We were tired! Constantly busy.
Saturday is another wake up early day, and we go back down to the room. Just like with Friday, as soon as we open we have a line of heads for fans, and a crowd of customers all through the day. The only time we weren't busy was during the fursuit parade! Unfortunately we weren't able to get a fan in everyone's head before the parade; some heads just needed more time than others depending on the construction of them. As with Friday, we go back after it closes and die in our room. Sunday is much the same...except for the few hours it took us to take down the table.
Monday we pack up and fight the elevators to leave. From there we drive 4.5 hours north to visit Mono's family cabin in north PA. It was hot and the cabin had no AC.. apparently it's the hottest it's ever been up there right now and we just happened to choose that week to visit. Then on Wednesday Mono's mom takes us on an 8 hour float down the river trip (normally a 5 hour trip) and Ciara gets super burnt. Wolfaya and Mono get semi-burnt, but apparently Ciara gets well done even with 2 coats of sunscreen applied during the trip. That, and the biting flies were out in force so we were actually pretty miserable. We get down the river finally to her mom's car, only to realize her mom forgot the keys in Mono's SUV up at the TOP of the river. >.< So she had to hitch a ride up to the other car and brought it down with the keys so we could go home and lather ourselves in aloe.
Needless to say, we didn't do much on Thursday due to being burnt and tired from lack of sleep. That is until Thursday evening when we drive 4.5 hours south to Maryland to visit Ciara's brother. We get there Thursday night and Friday we see Brave in the theater (good movie!) and visit Ciara's father's grave since she hadn't ever had a chance to see it. They wouldn't let her visit it before he was buried or the day of (which is so dumb) and she lives in Texas and not MD so never had a chance to visit it. So after paying our respects we went to Olive Garden and then back to her brother's house to rest for the evening.
Saturday we got everything packed up and left about 8 am. We arrived back in TX at 8 am this morning. Drove straight through, dropped off Wolfaya in TN and came home so Mono could die in her bed.
We just wanted to let everyone know what the last 2 weeks consisted of. XD We were unable to update the webmail auto response unfortunately before we left so e-mails went unanswered for 2 weeks, and for that we apologize. We thought we would have net for the week we were at the hotel but we didn't; they only let us use it for Square and that was it.
We will be starting work back up on Tuesday. All orders that were placed while we were away will be worked on this week, and Mono will be finishing up the Talbuk horns, and some unicorn horns/tails from a previous large order. We'll also be finishing up
shineyfighter's sergal suit which just needs a few more things, and then get to work on Nemmy's bodysuit, feet and wings. Once those are done we'll be turning to Emmy's bodysuit and then we'll be done with all fur commissions!

General | Posted 13 years agoWell after a long couple of weeks I just finished up the Red Dragon Partial around 9pm today with all the last hand sewing details and must say this thing is badass looking XD
Will be sure to take pics and video of the partial monday but might not get to upload till after AC so please Please bare with us as there is lots to do in 1 day.
I did manage to squeeze in a little time to finally finish the clay K9 Mold and will try my darnedest to have a working mold to bring with us to AC.
Will also finally have a chance to make some Resin blanks for the table but only a few.
Packing and gathering of documents will ensue and the madness of stuffing all the giant totes in my one suv for this looooong trip >.<
We plan to leave bright and early Tuesday morning and pick up Wolfaya in TN around 3pm. This will all hopefully land us in PA around noon to 3pm Wednesday. Thats right driving allll the way non-stop...err only if we can ^^; otherwise might arrive late Wednesday if we need to pull over and rest.
So anyways look forward to seeing everyone there and please feel free to stop by our Dealers table this weekend ^___^

Updates and Akon!!
General | Posted 13 years agoFinally!! after one difficult month of injury, sickness and Many maaaany orders we are all caught up with Webstore orders and the Fursuits are near completion and one already sent out plus large side commissions are also close to finishing.
Thankfully items were taken out of the store to ease the work load on ourselves and help get back on track with the webstore and the suits.
Sadly many of our molds took a hard hit from these many months of production and will need to be replaced.
K9 mask, springbuck, ram horns, bull horns, k9 jawset, Sm Cloppers, SM and LG bull hooves, SM and LG horse hooves took the biggest hits and the molds either dried out and cracked or ripped apart from use. So All these molds will need remade and will do so once we return from Anthrocon in Mid-June. Some of these I am making immediately for our AC table during my weekends so you will see the first line of new Items there!
Suits:
*The Canadian Lynx has been completed and sent out to his new owner.
*Sergal is nearly finished and Will be completed this week! All that is left are final touches to the hands/feet/body and head and I will be streaming the progress starting May 29th.
*Red Dragon partial has already been started, casted the head last week and jawset. A custom new pointed tongue (not forked) will me made for the dragon jawset. Will be also working on the red dragon this week if time allows. Either way I will be working on him every week till Anthrocon to be hand delivered at AC.
Well our attempt at picking up our preregistration FAILED!! We arrived at 7pm just to be told that we will not get to the front of the line in time before its closes at 9pm!! O__O

So we turned back around and drove home. One good thing is we checked in with the Marriot about early check-in for friday morning and they were so nice to reserve a room for us so we can show up anytime to unload our stuff and get registration which makes me very happy ^-^

So All these molds will need remade and will do so once we return from Anthrocon in Mid-June. Some of these I am making immediately for our AC table during my weekends so you will see the first line of new Items there!

Well our attempt at picking up our preregistration FAILED!! We arrived at 7pm just to be told that we will not get to the front of the line in time before its closes at 9pm!! O__O

On another note this is now my personal account so i will be uploading cosplay photos and animal pics plus some suits and projects here and there.
Thankfully the medicine is working and my ear and ankle are healing well. still have the cold but should be gone soon.
I was working all weekend for extended hours to catch up on webstore orders. We are now all caught up to May! thats right finished all the april orders and will be sending out Monday morning.
I have also been working on sculpting the New Small Feline and Large Feline masks. will be making molds of those soon and have the first batch ready to sell at out Anthrocon Dealers table.
Also working on side project commissions for the new talbuk horns and unicorn horn order. Will also have a large Ram horn available once i can figure out how to make and effect mold for it so not till after AC.
Dont know how many of you know that i Am a HUGE How To Train Your Dragon Fan and have been keeping a sharp eye on the Big Arena Spectacular since its first announcement last year.
WELL!! They finally have the List of US Tour Dates!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!

We're also working on the Canadian Lynx partial suit at the same time, so you may see pieces pop up every so often for that.

We no longer offer a first class option for either international or US customers; all orders will be quoted for priority (or express for international) mail. This is due to the fact that too many products arrive damaged, or not at all. Did you know some international orders were taking up to a month to arrive, due to customs? Squeaker noses are now available in the webstore! These can be made in our toony hyena style, medium or large k9 toony style, and will be made out of flex foam, rather than plastic or silicone. It's still very squishy, but is more lightweight. They can still come in a variety of colors, too!

Sorry about the lack of updates these last 2 weeks or so! We've been so crazy busy, you have no idea.
Recap of last 2 weeks:
Week of Furry Fiesta- Work work work, trying to get lots of stuff done by the convention, because not only did we have an artist alley table, but we also had some pieces that needed to be delivered to their owners by the time the convention came! No small orders were worked on that week, as everything went towards premade items. Then came the actual convention. Not only did we not get much sleep, but we had to be at the Artist Alley by 9 am every morning; we didn't stay at the hotel, so we had to be up extra early and fight traffic! In the artist alley we talked to a hell of a lot of people, showed off our wares, and installed several fans in peoples' heads! That was interesting. We should just advertise doing that more often. XD Helps people stay cool, and we know that suiting is really warm! We had a table on Friday and Saturday, but by Sunday we were so wiped we just suited that day. Met up with some friends and hung out, but tried to take it easy. We wanted to leave early on Sunday to get some rest, but we were asked to stay until closing ceremonies to be announced as the Furry Fiesta 2013 Guests of Honor. ^^; We're so crazy excited about that. We're gonna have a few panels next year for it, too! We finally left super late and went home. We didn't even unload the car until the next day. <_<;
Week after Furry Fiesta- Took us 2 full days to recover from lack of sleep and running around like crazy. We were cranky, sore, and super tired until about Tuesday. XD Though Monday after the convention we went over to the rental office, and got the keys to a brand new apartment that we could use just for workspace! So we no longer live where we work, but have to actually "go to work" every day. :D Well.. that's :D and D: for different reasons, but the extra space is a lifesaver. And we have a room just for resin/silicone stuff, so we don't have to worry about fur invading. We hope to have a video uploaded soon of our new work apartment once it's fully set up. ^^ So we got the keys on Monday, and it took us 3 full days to get everything in and organized. I have NO idea how we fit everything into 1 room. And it didn't help that it was just us for the most part. Back to being sore. :( We had one good day on Thursday to work on some small orders but that was it, because on Friday Mono was off again on a flight to PA, where she had to go for her father's funeral. Much sadness was to be had all weekend, and she just returned yesterday!

Is moving in with us this Monday. :D If you have joined us on livestream you may have seen him in the chat room; he's moving down from Michigan to join our team. ^_^ We hope this will allow orders to be done even faster.

We want to be able to still offer items in our webstore, but with as booked as we get with small orders, it really takes away from our suit customers, hence the reason we haven't been able to open up for any new large commissions. New items available in the webstore include fiber optic whiskers, which glow at the tips naturally, and can also be wired up with LEDs for extra glow. :) These whiskers are also colored instead of being clear, so if you have a character with colored whiskers, these will be good for you!
