Why? Because some might saw taurs have unnecessary extra parts. Sure, cruft is more referring to unneeded, useless, defective, unwanted parts, but its close enough to make it funny, no?

Ok, since there's a mass exodus from Twitter, I figured I'd post some info about the Fediverse of which Mastodon is part of for those who haven't already found a replacement for it.

The Fediverse is a collection of server side apps sharing posts via a single protocol (ActivityPub). These don't have to be micro-blogging like Twitter, though there are 4 of those (more in a bit), they include a YouTube-like service, and Instagram-like and more. The only exceptions to sharing is Diaspora which uses it's own protocol that's only shared with Friendica, and OwnCast, which can only share announcements for obvious reasons.

Add in that I have a lot of respect for artists, so I wouldn't want to use their work without compensating them by accident, I'd like to find a partner in this. Art needs to be single colour or greyscale with a transparent background. Aside from MLP cutie marks, I don't have anything specifically in mind, although complex art is obviously going to be a problem for engraving as it'll all be single colour, ie tattoo like.

Pay is negotiable. I say that because obviously you could choose a flat one time rate, flat rate plus a cut, or just a cut, and a cut can be a flat amount per piece or a percentage of either the gross or net, and obviously, I'm open to hearing what you think is the best for you.

So, anyone want in? You do need examples of your work, and you can be a starting artist or experienced, hobbyist or professional, I don't have a preference aside so long as you can produce engraver compatible art of good quality.

This is a rather long term goal, but I'm looking to get a comic done feature my OC Jeph domming someone, preferably a canine.

The script is fairly straight forward, our sub thanks to a flyer his friend finds, signs up for a tease and denial service. Basically they send you a portal device that removes your cock, giving it to one of their trained doms for a session length of your choice. Problem is that when the time comes, Jeph refuses to give it up. Our victim gets kidnapped, and wakes up bond and naked. One from  hufnaar that I spent a bit more on than I meant to, but damn, the speed and quality, no complaints, really the only reason I was trying to be a bit cheap was that I wasn't sure I was going to like the finished character, it's a gender changed version of an existing character, and didn't want to spend a lot of money in case of regrets. No regrets here, so it's all good.

Not sure if there's any more, we'll only know when I start going through my folders, but I do know this year has been a bit light on commissions due to money thanks to Covid. In fact this will likely be the last one not so much because it's the end of the year, but because for mental and physical health reasons, I quit my job, so while we have money, I need to be more sensible spending it. This last one was possible in part do to me cleaning out my gadgets collection, three tablets and a laptop sold so far, one more laptop, one more tablet, and a Kindle to go, along with a few old VGA monitors and a bunch of cell phones. Along with a bunch of miscellany (anyone want some Aloha shirts size large?, what about a new in box Goth disc set? Also have a Roy Rogers disc set, used but complete, all discs play).

Ok, so thanks to a couple pics I've seen recently, an idea popped into my head set in my Gen-K universe or a furry pic. A pregnant domme, her cuckold husband-slave and her 'bull'. Soooo, apparently starting tomorrow we're in lockdown... quarantine... Sorry, shelter in place. Still trying to figure out the point of the order, considering that the list of things you're still allowed to do are go to the grocery store, pharmacy, get food, access essential services and work. Ummm, so basically the same things I've been allowed to do until today, right?

On another note, we stocked up yesterday, mostly. Wasn't able to get regular OxyClean, just laundry booster, though since laundry was the main reason I wanted it, that's not a big deal. Also wasn't able to stock up on chicken as ALDI USA was out (they're really struggling in my area), and Dierbergs charges like three times as much for it. Still, we're mostly good, got ingredients for a Mexican meatloaf, root vegetable stew and a chili along with lots of cans of soup. Also stocked up on cough medicine. This plus the amount of frozen cook in a pan meals, one Hello Fresh meal and two more on their way means we've around three week supply of everything we need.

I'll still be working, my job (O'Reilly Auto Parts) is an essential service, so we won't be closing.

...my Mac died. A mid 2010 21.5in iMac that went tits up Tues night... Well, I suppose Wed morning at about midnite. Locked up, won't reboot, getting kernal panics. When it will boot, it acts weird (Finder crashing, duplicate copies of it, and so on), but luckily I saved almost everything, I'll prolly lose my downloads folder, and my Open Office dictionaries (bit of a pain in the ass as they'd developed from my editing work and writings), but nothing major at least.

So, I"m stuck computing using my Linux test box, an eMachines D525 laptop, I'll let you look up the specs and such, its pathetic.

So, with that said, anyone wanna help me build a computer?
Got the case (Commodore 1541), planning a mini-ITX (I'd prefer mini-STX, but they're basically non-existent right now) build of modest power, the current one falls short, but not by a huge amount surprisingly. Need to pick up a DVD driver, tray loading preferred, but prolly have to go with slot, and one or two SSD's too, have to see what the limit on those is.

None of them are official, I'd love to see  Goldfur change that, but it is what it is. Since I've started the process of folding my taur account Woggle into this one, y'all have prolly seen things in my descriptions that don't jive with the established canon. Some of it came because I was only vaguely aware of Chakats when I created my early characters and wasn't aware of the rules, but some are things that I either think enhances the universe, or are my form of protest to the rigidity of the universe. So, lets run through them...

No discernible talent, I rather hate the idea of everyone being born with a measurable talent confined to a few areas, nature is never that neat, and even if we were to play god, I somehow think nature would screw with us occasionally by not playing by our rules. As such, my chakats often have more subtle talents, abilities that aren't so easily explained or quantified, such as Amberspot's improbable skills with machines or Coalpepper's ability to read any language whatsoever, including dead languages.

Chakat resettlement programs, one is mentioned in Triskan's back story, another one was mentioned in Whitepaws story (still up in  woggle's scraps), both based on things Israel has done, or you'd expect. I'd think that its expensive to travel through space, so starting a planet for Chakats would be difficult. Think of what it took to establish Israel, and that's just a country smaller than some American states, now imagine doing that on a planetary scale. The government would have to pay to get settlers out to the planet, so I created two programs. For Whitepaws it was the orphan program. While orphan Chakats are rare, and there's certainly a support network, I'd think they'd be ideal resettlement candidates, so I imagine the government would fund an economy birth and an apartment in public housing so that they can start a life on Chakona. The other one by this time is prolly a small lottery, and that would just be the government doing the same for a handful of lucky Chakats that couldn't otherwise afford to go where their people are.

The thirteen month calendar, was something that I've had rattling around my head, and decided to use it for Coalpepper. If you get over the superstition about the number thirteen, it make for a logical and simple calendar. Attempts at simple calendars have been done before, but their focus is on making every year identical, typically by storing extra days until you can make an extra one week month to realign the calendar. I think that makes things more complicated, not easier, instead I went with adding another month, that allows 12 months of precisely four weeks/twenty-eight days, and twenty-nine days in December, thirty days on Leap Years. Easy, no? I also didn't realign the months, to use October for example, that's Latin for eight. Yeah, that month kinda got moved, in fact from September to December the months are numbered, but I didn't see any value in moving them. Instead, my solution was to insert a new month between June and July, Qunitillis, the original name for July until Julius Caesar decided he deserved a month named after himself.


So, there you go, all of my additions. Considering how far back the Chakat universe was designed, I don't see anything wrong with tweaking it just a bit, after all the world is constantly changing, no?
