So I'm trying to afford a new monitor.
I have a 27" Acer CB271HU . ( https://www.displayspecifications.c...../model/bcf6dc4 ) and it's ghosting pretty badly, get super hot and turns off randomly, so I just need a new one. The port also keeps literally falling out. That being the most minor of issues.
So, opening a few commissions up so that I can afford a new monitor that won't hurt my eyes, won't overheat or turn off randomly or just literally drop it's one plug.

That feeling when ya forget how to anatomy. o.o;
I was doodling this morning and trying to get my art to 'wake up' like I've been doing recently, and for whatever reason, I was having the worst time with anatomy. XD It got a bit better with time, but wow was it a rough start.
Does this happen to anyone else here? Do you just pick up a pencil or drawing tablet pen and your hand is just like: 'Naw, sorry. How about we don't?'

Rest in peace, Dragoneer.
He didn't deserve to be jerked around with his health, and it makes me wonder if he'd still be alive if he'd been in almost any other country for his medical care. The American medical system needs to change. This is unacceptable.
He did all he could for FA, and the community of it. He gave a lot of time, patience, and attention to everyone that made this place what it is.
I'll miss chatting with him and showing him art and seeing his as well.

Would anyone be interested in background arts?
I love to draw backgrounds! It's a little happy thing for me, especially when in deep thought or just looking for colors that really make me happy.
The idea behind something like this is thus: ★ I'd create a random background, and let you guys see it and people could claim, or bid on it to keep as their own.
★ You could commission one with a set of colors you want me to try out.
★ I could take characters and put them in a random background of my choice.
Just a curiosity, so let me know what you think!
I'd really like to do this, and you can help make it possible if this is something you'd like to see.
I find just the idea itself very calming and welcoming, so they'd get done pretty fast.

I want to do art.
I want to help dreams become color and sketch.
I like working on commissions and projects.
But when I try to get adopts, commissions, YCH's and more to sell, when I join platforms that seem like they could hold some promise- no one seems to care. At all. I'm kind of at a loss. Because I want to do this but it's hard when it feels like no one wants to help.
It's also hard when I have friends that are amazing at what they do and they're also having a horrible, horrific time trying to get anything to sell so they can make rent, or pay medical bills, or anything.
I mean, is it even worth it?
I want to say it is but.. sometimes I have doubts.

Overbearing ads on FA- Advice?

Anyone else having an ad pop up that asks to be allowed just to view the site?
I've found if I F5 it sometimes just goes away but I have to admit it's pretty aggravating.
Is there a way around it that blocks that, too, so I don't have to see 700 ads on my FA page when I'm looking through art?

I used to be with someone that didn't celebrate Valentines. I get it- it's super commercialized, but I think what a lot of people forget is that it's not just a one day thing. If you love someone, or thing, you already celebrate love in some way, shape, or form. Including, naturally, if you have pets.

So, I'm moving To Bryan Texas tomorrow. It's been a hell of an adventure, and there's even more to go yet. I admit I'm a bit anxious, but I think it'll be worth it. Hey guys! I just wanted to post a short journal as I keep saying I'll post more... and then life gets busy. :P
Art has been progressing pretty well! I've been drawing a lot with almost no interruption. My back, arm and shoulder are doing way better! So that's really great news. For those that don't know, a lot of that news and what happened is on my Art Telegram here:
