I just got out of a 3-4yr relationship with my ex-fiance and just finished moving into my own place. So thankful to have my parents who were able to help me out a little financially. But it's been super rough and emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausting. This is the first time I have ever lived truly by myself and I'm still getting used to the quietness and loneliness. All of my family is still up in Maryland and I don't really have a support system down here; so, hoping to eventually move back up to MD since there is nothing for me down in NC anymore.

But, anyways, still in the process of settling in and upacking boxes. And then hopefully I can start back into school and drawing.

My copy of photoshop & illustrator have arrived! So has my new tablet pen! *dances* I have never been so freakin' excited in my whole life! I can't believe I went a full year unable to do digital art.

I get off work this evening at 9pm so, unfortunately I know I won't have the time/energy to work on art when I get off. But hopefully tomorrow.

Just recently noticed the "commission info" feature is up and running again, so I went ahead and updated all of my "Commission Info"!

The only thing I need to note, is digital commissions are still on hold until my copy of photoshop arrives, which should be shortly.
Then I just need to save up for a decent scanner that is compatible with my laptop. :)

Photoshop and illustrator have been ordered and are on their way, as I just got notice that they shipped.

Now.... just need to find a good scanner.

I already have a million ideas in my head as to what I want to draw/work on.

Totally can't wait.

Thinking of offering a bunch of small sketches, with just a "pay-what-you-can" to celebrate the whole being able to work on art again.

Any ideas? I definitely do want to offer something that is affordable to most people.

I am desperately missing photoshop. I knew I used it a lot, but I never realized quite -how- much I used it until... now. I keep finding myself wanting to open it up so I can edit various photos and pictures. Or to work on art. And... nope. I can't. I just want to cry. ;_;

Do you know of any artists that are currently open for commissions and who might be able to design my first tattoo for me? It's going to be of my 1st parakeet in a tribal style.

I've considered designing it myself, but I don't want my own artwork on me. :3

Currently working on some personal art. I'd love to get back into digital, but my old laptop is dead and I don't have photoshop/illustrator/painter/artrage/etc on my new computer.

I am back and very much exhausted! But I am happy I went. I am rather clueless to most of the geekery/nerdiness that occurred, but I still had fun. Went to a lot of the art programming panels, spent lots of time the Art Show, Artist Alley, and Dealer Halls.

Does anyone else get super tired when they work on art? Or that just me being weird?

Trying to get back into drawing more fluffy animals again. HAHA!! I am so rusty it's not even funny!

Trying to draw a ragdoll cat right now and it's pretty much a joke! That's okay. It's a good exercise for me though the pose looks so stiff :(

Anyone have an feral feline characters that you wouldn't mind me practicing with? Can't promise anything fancy. Most likely it'll just be a plan sketch or a page of sketches.

I'm finally graduating college in about a week! Woo-hoo!

Currently dealing with finals and all sorts of craziness. And if that's not enough, I woke up this morning with the worst sore throat ever and have had a fever all day. Hopefully it'll just be a 24hr thing because I've got too much stuff to do.

Theoretically, if everything goes as planned, I will catch up on all art after finals and I graduate.

YAAAAAYYY!!!!! I finally have photoshop again thanks to one of my very good friends! He was kind enough to set it all up for me. :D

Also, my depression is much better. My dr. put me on some good meds and I'm in therapy working out a lot of my bottled up baggage.

So I'm feeling darn good now. Expect to see an increase of art from me now that things are starting to look up again.

Just letting people know I am still working on art. Granted, it's slow going. Not having photoshop still puts a damper on things. But I am working on sketches and getting as much as I can done traditionally.

And also, to be quite honest- my mental health has been at an all time low lately. I have a really hard time being productive when I'm crying my eyes out. Thankfully I have a drs appointment on Monday, and hopefully I'll be put on some good meds so I can actually start to function normally.
