With the advent of the Togekiss blurb, I'm looking to get back to longer stuff again like I usually do. However, something's been on my mind for a while, might be partially responsible for another gap in my writing. So:

1) Would it be better to just release anything I write one-by-one as is, or try to write and store things to make a multi-submission with multiple stories submitted back to back? The only time I recall doing that before was with the Lati duo, and I've also been thinking about doing that in relation to my revisitation journal and the list I made there.

2) Should any "short" stories continue going into my scraps, and/or what would be the cutoff point for a "short" blurb making its way to the main gallery? The ones standing out to me are Dewott and Meloetta, though I don't think anything in my scraps folder are longer than them.

3) Just for kicks, is there anything specifically in the scraps folder that could or should be expanded upon?

Even with all the above, I still have a considerable amount on my plate, and I appreciate your patience as I try going through this sort of backlog I set up for myself.

It has come to my attention I've written something for every type in my main gallery, without having to double-dip stories to fulfill type slots or resort to the scrap submissions. One combination is as follows, with one unique story attached per type:

Fun fact: Kabutops was actually not the intended one I implied from this list! I started something else from this list before putting it aside in favor Kabutops, which sprang up in the middle of the original one. I still plan on finishing the original one before Kabutops happened...but which one that is and when is something only time shall tell.
Assuming I don't do something else not on the list again...

So not long ago I was dealing with my computer not being able to boot whatsoever.

Today at one in the morning, I kid you not, the machine literally rebooted itself, turning on as if nothing was wrong. Got past the self-identifying tests, got the BIOS screen, got to the desktop with everything as it was a few days ago, etc.

If anybody has any possible explanation of what happened, please lay it on me. And I'm not faking/didn't fake any of this either. Everything seems to be back to how it was, but still goddamn that was a nerve-racking experience.

In unrelated news, the day of yet another technical difficulty being resolved also corresponded to the day of somebody making a specific art piece for me which cheered me up to how I was days before this possible disaster. I'm having yet more technical difficulties yet again. To the point my main computer cannot boot up. At all. Hitting the power button does nothing.
I do not know if it just needs a power supply unit swapped out from the computer tower, or if I really will end up getting a brand new computer from scratch. This also probably means no more Microsoft word 2010 for me(writing software preference) and/or the original stash/drafts of stories on said computer. Right now I'm using an auxiliary computer in private windows just for this, so any more development from me will be few and far between until further notice or miracles. Jokes on me for not having adequate backups I guess. The irony is rich.

Regardless, this is probably a good time to save my stories on all your respective individual machines or storages, at the very least your favorite ones most of all but preferably at best all of them, main gallery and scrap alike. Just in case any more writing really does get botched in either end here. I'm not happy with the circumstances hitting me but I just need to be strong and hopeful I suppose.

Time will tell, so it goes.

Things are going way, way slower than I would like for my next intended long story. It is frustrating. I appreciate the patience from those waiting and guessing on what it'll probably be, but you and I will just have to continue waiting longer.

So, I assume a lot of people got a chance to check out my most recent story. This makes me want to ask: would others be interested in seeing more submission like this?

I know this one and the Zoroark one are a lot more concentrated/"purestrain" than most of my other ones and the male is an Aromatisse instead of a human trainer. But I do want to know how they typically compare to the more plot-oriented stories I make solo, and if others would be fine with more submissions like this.

This journal can also double as feedback outlet for the Aromatisse /Weavile story, why not.

I just want to clarify that the "carried away with suggestions" rant stemmed from one user running around making rapid-fire requests across different submissions. Usually for the same idea.
I don't want to dissuade anybody from sharing an idea. I just want to ask others simply to not do what that person did, and everything will be okay.

I'm still trying to write the next story. Trying, being the keyword. Low interest/energy, more research on the revolving subjects, etc.
But I've been through this before of course, and I know how the plot and events will go down. Still doesn't make it any better but y'know.

I will also say, the one I'm working one is taken from the request journal. And it's one of the main gallery longer ones. So there's a bit of pondering for ya.

I will try to finish the milestone story this month. If I can't get it done by then...well. Being disappointed in myself is the least of my worries.

Yes, I'm still here.

I just wanna say that just because I've uploaded a lot of short scenes into my scraps folder, that does not mean I have foregone doing the regular, full-length stories. I plan on doing another one of those for the 1k favorite milestone thing I said I wanted to do. Luckily, I know what I want to do for it.

The scraps should continue at their own pace as a separate thing.

As of this update, I have finally cracked over one thousand favorites. Since stories seem to require a lot more work to get such recognition compared to obvious art pieces and other obvious eye-catching things, this is no doubt a big thing for me. I thank everybody who sat down and read these stories.

As a milestone celebration, I plan on doing two main things:
1) I'll be gradually drip-feeding short stories that focus entirely on the pregnancy/birth aspect, somewhat similar to the recent Meloetta one; also known as "blurbs". I've sat on them for a very long time, and they'll be put in my scraps folder, where hopefully people can read them for a quick hit of erotic writing.
First one up now, I'll see how this goes. If I'm unhappy with the results I'll probably do these shorter ones as regular submissions.

2) I want to try to make another longer story for the favorite milestone, but a lot more indulgent than usual for celebration, like what happened with the very first Vaporeon story. This is obviously a much more personal endeavor, but I do want to try it.

And last but not least, happy 4th of July for those in the US like me!

I don't feel like writing these full-length/effort stories. Again. Somewhat frustrating. Writer's block or lack of motivation or what have you. Kind of surprised I managed to get the Magearna one out.

Should I do a similar hymn/folklore style for the other legendaries? I think it would suit them well. Emphasis on LEGENDary, like how people back in the day talked about fairies and dragons and what have you.

Or how the town pervert getting drunk/high in the woods and recounting a lucid dream that he shared with everybody when he returned.

It's weird how I'm going back to extensively clean up my first submission with Vaporeon. Yet... the second one with Aromatisse has -nothing- I can do to clean it up or amend. Both stories play out exactly how I want them, and both seem to sit upon perfection; can't think of anything to add or change about it even though I come back and read them frequently. I do adore them both, making sense why they're the first two items I put up here.

It's just that the Aromatisse one seems to have hit the perfection mark when I finished writing it and submitted it and where I can't think of anything else to compose about it. While the Vaporeon one, though much longer, is going through such a rehaul to get to the point of perfection where no further updates are necessary for it like Aromatisse. Only thing I can think of is an entirely new story, but even that doesn't seem to mold with me that well with what I already have.

Okay, small lie. I did go back and write a better description for the Aromatisse's offspring and a few grammar clean ups. I should probably uploaded the topped-off version after I'm done writing this. Yeah. For sure.

But barring that, there's nothing else I can see about it that needs rework. Similar to the other ones, to be honest. Contrary to the Vaporeon one undergoing the remastering I've talked about. Yadda yadda. I'll stop now.

Okay never mind, seemed to have gone through. Now I'll really stop editing this damn entry.

When the time comes for me to upload the Vaporeon remastering, should it be its seperate submission, or should I update the original one and its description for it?

Here's a rundown of my upcoming story ideas in no particular order:

Lilligant (Request) [Way more plant-based than Serperior with a straightforward plotline; there's so many interesting ways I can go with this]

Nidoqueen/Kangaskahn (Request{s}) [Much more cut and dry in comparison and mentally fleshed out]

Garchomp (Original) [Need more time to outline this but sounds like it would end up well]

Glaceon/Sylveon (Original) [Would be another all-out erotica bombshell like Vaporeon, unlikely to be written as of now]

Meloetta (Request) [I like the suggested plot outline, but don't care/know much of the Pokémon]
[Taken care of.]

Latias (Original) [Just thought of it now as I'm typing this, actual legendary could be interesting]

Mismagius/Genger (Request{s}) [One of them's done. Not sure about the other.]

Specialty: Vaporeon rewritting [I've been going back and doing a lot of improvements on my first submission every so often. I'll try to reupload a "remastered" version when it's -perfectly- refined. The overall sequence is still the same.]

Knocked this one out for the better.

I'd love some feedback on two things gnawing away at me:

1) Am I getting too formulaic or stale? I know that all my stories follow the same setup and they seem to all be popular but I'm starting wonder if I should try different formatting or something to "freshen up"

2) Am I putting in -too- much effort into these? The past few ones I've aimed to be about seven-thousand words, then I end up writing seventeen-thousand words. I don't mind the additional effort and work, but I am curious to see if I could try to condition myself to aim for lower word counts.
Possible idea: try to limit requests to shorter ones relatively speaking, but keep ones I think of myself to similar lengths as the previous ones?

It's gonna be one of those 5-digit word count ones, I've found out.
Guess this one is a much more delicate process than the others. Kind of like gestation.
