I see this ALL THE TIME here.

The trouble is, modern browsers will show the image even if it is labeled wrong. IfranView on Windows will offer to change the extension for you, but Eye of Gnome on Linux gives a run time error. An extremely avoidable, annoying run time error.

O, Great Geeks of IMVU, I beseech thee - just add a line of code to check the file extension on uploads and change it if necessary.
