Basically an amazing artist is having a lot of financial trouble atm due to health reasons and such. Instead of just asking for money, she's also got a website where you can buy some amazing trinkets via 3D printing (awesome, no?). I can't donate, but I felt sharing her journal might reach those that can.

General | Posted 14 years agoOK SO WELL! That last journal was a bit of a wreck in hindsight, but it's only ever in retrospect that I realise that, aha.
It was my 21st birthday yesterday, which officially makes me as old as the groans from my knees suggest, 50. I'm finding age to be a trying subject. It terrifies me. I don't want to grow older. This is only intensified as I found out today my martial arts instructor (yeah I do Hapkido now. It's a bit like Taekwondo. Learn something new every day!) is only 16. What the hell! He's amazingly good, representing England and such sometimes. And he's 16! Freakin' 'eck!
I think once I find out Paolo's (another rather good guy from practice) age. Because I know he is older and has only been doing it five years. Also the idea that others don't ever do martial arts is vaguely comforting.
Anyways, enough rambling! How are you all? Does age concern you? Do you do martial arts? If so, which kind?

Hello internet! How are you all?
A little catch up session here. I've been arting less because of real world. Over Christmas I was pulling crazy hours at work to get money, and was literally working til I couldn't work anymore. Less than eager to art on top of that. Now I'm arting less because I'm getting our house ready so we can move. Which is a big job! I do have commissions to complete though, so art-wise, you should be seeing a few more bits and bobs.
On the other hand, I am now working towards getting a book published/put on the internet to sell. It'll be a bit like a children's book, but with the demographic being older. At some point I should also get a website. But it shan't be furry related. I've decided that Foal = furry [even if I don't want to admit it, and aren't really a furry, but at least for furry /related/ jazz] and Wikwa = my professional stuff. So this website will not be like my stuff here or on dA.
So anyways. That's it atm. Maybe fill you guys more later. Hope everyone is chill!

General | Posted 15 years agoI'm gonna rant in this because I think else I will explode. Even if I don't usually like ragging too much on people who don't like rags. Hurr.
So the last couple of days I've been getting. Well. Angry. I wouldn't class it as stress as such, because I've been stressed, and this isn't it. My anger has just been flaring up at odd moments and I curse at people. If I'm completely honest, I'd say each time I've had a jolly good reason, but usually I can deal with bad situations at least in a cordial manner. Lately I've just come to hate everyone and everything. Bitter, I guess. And shit piles up so fast. I'm sure you all know what it's like, I mean, I hardly think my problems are unique or worse than anyone else's.
I guess I'm bitter that the only person I can talk to is my older brother, and whilst I love him dearly, I think it isn't enough. All my old friends in the know have ragged off and don't seem to give a shit anymore. You know, something new comes along and they turn their heads so fast they get whiplash. You know. The good kind of friend that says they'll be there forever, haha. Fuckers. And my new friends, who I am beginning to love, I don't want any of them knowing my problems. It's awkward, and clearly doesn't have any affect anyway.
My only reprieve these days is work. And considering I work with the two things I hate, customers and children, that is saying something. This is all just a big drama fest, and actually, I am not even PMSing, I'm right at the point in my cycle were I should be thinking clearly. So I don't even have a reason to be a ragging bitch. I will probably delete this or hide is very shortly, I can't stand looking at my own pathetic attempt at attention whoring for very long. And yet here I am garnering attention for my internet buddies.
Anyway. How are you guys? How do you cope with anger? With stress? How do you know when you're stressed? When I'm stressed I sleep more than usual, haha. What an ace mechanism. (:

For every watch, fav, comment, even for just looking at my art, I am eternally greatful. You see, even though I love art, I have siblings who are getting better at art every day, and since they are increasing their skill a ridiculous amount, it makes me wonder how good I am. So you know, you guys help the ego. :p But I really do appreciate you all! I look at every single person who favs/comments/watches me pages, even if I don't remember to leave a comment, and essentially your art inspires me. Even if you don't believe me, it happens. General | Posted 15 years agoSorry I haven't been around for a while, I've been vaguely busy. Got a job about three weeks ago at a kid's toy shop. It's not bad, but I begrudge being put back into a box I was just escaping from. I'm not allowed any hair colour that isn't 'normal', I had to take my lip piercing out, and they tried to make me take my scaffold and my plugs out. Depressing.
Aaaaaaanyway, hopefully I will be becoming more active at some point, but we'll see.

General | Posted 15 years agoYeah the bad news just keeps coming. So we're in an even bigger financial crapper. I've been trying to get a job for ages now, and I am unhirable, lmao. Damn you, hiring people! But anyways. I'm gonna do doodles for donations. o: I even got a uStream account and everything [although I am still shakey on it].
I'll sketch stuff out for whatever you feel is necessary to give. Please not anything mega-complicated, I'd like to keep things fun and loose.

Getting incredibly sick of living where I live. The place is an absolute nightmare. The next door neighbours are forever screaming at each other or their children. They also allow thier children to kick their damn ball against my house. My room specifically is above a walkway and they like to kick the ball against my floor, and of course it echoes in the walkway. Grr. They constantly kick the ball into our garden and climb in it to get it back. And don't learn, and are fucking rude. Their parents don't give a damn either.
And now, another bunch of people have moved in /somewhere I don't know where/ and are a lot older than next door's kids. They're more vicious with their ball, and are currently playing now. At eight at night. The damn ball games echo through the house. Also they were throwing apples at our windows earlier and running away. wtf?
And on top of that, my mum is being incredibly ill again so these wankers outside are obviously adding to her stress. Guh guh guh guh guh I'm gonna kick some bitches.
One day we'll move out I guess. Ugh.

-Rat's incredibly ill and will die soon. I feel a bit bad but am more frustrated that he's at an inbetween life + death stage. Like, not ill enough to be put down but you can hear that his breathing is taking everything he's got. Poor thing.
-My uni year is almost over so I have a hench hand in date next Friday. Rushing to get things done.
-I think I have anaemia because I need to sleep so much and am always tired. [I am tired right now, infact!]
-Making a new 'sona because I don't fully identify w/ being a dog. Making some aspects of it more human to make me feel better, haha. It's pretty rad.
-I'm going to a boat party as an end of [academic] year thing. How cool is that! A certain someone, however, is being a grump towards me, and I really hope their teaching timetable doesn't ruin my being able to go. Harumph.
-I drew a sleeping lady on the train. She opened her eyes and I was staring at her all creepy like. It was awesome.

General | Posted 16 years agoHey guys. How y'all doing? Not much from me on the art front as I have quite a busy life atm. Currently tied up with doing a short animation for uni. In a group with awesomely amusing and creative minds, and in all honesty I am glad we're all in a group. They're my first picks so it's awesome. c: Once the animation gets a little more steam I'll post some of my work, but not enough to ruin it. It will be a surprise! Also just in case someone from the other groups is a furre and I don't know and they might be watching me. ;)
Will be doing drawings as well but unlikely that they will be digital or scanned in, so I don't think I'll be too active here art wise.

General | Posted 16 years agoWell, a new year. How exciting! Thought I'd make a new journal to start the year off to. 2009 was both the best and worst year of my life. Who'd have thought that one year could contain so many ups and downs. It's all meant to be a fresh start from now, however.
The year itself, I can't lie, is very unlikely to be different. I know already that it probably won't be a good one. Instead, I am going to change my outlook on things. Attempt to be more positive and make the best of what you got! So here are some of my resolutions:
-Swear less [less because stopping all together would be impossible]
-Either move out myself, or move with the family in general. Anything but staying in this house.
-Lose weight. I'm pretty fat, haha.
-Go urban exploring more.
-Graffiti moar. Need better ideas for stencils.

In all honesty the Rage song Killing In The Name is shit but it means that the people still have control over the music charts. Also it means Rage are giving a whole bunch of the money they get to the charity Shelter, which is awesome, and that they promised a free gig if they won. c: UK history right here.

So uh. Not so active right now. Life is a little bit hectic. Uni is getting intense, lots to learn. I am not getting on so well with Maya and After Effects. How annoying.
