Something I thought I'd never have to deal with again came back to haunt me and disqualified me from a crewman position aboard The Lady Washington.
Pretty bummed.
But hey, that leaves me barely enough time to make plans to head to Rainfurrest! :D

Do you have a picture of the signage? I'm curious to see how it was handled.
You may have realised it already, but the main reason people are upset about the cameras is that an apparently very large majority never knew that the cameras were going to be there until they were already at the con.
Nothing was posted on the official furlandia.org news feed, and the Attendance Policy & Code of Conduct explicitly stated in article 7 "You affirm that you are attending Furlandia in good faith as a fan of anthropomorphic arts & culture, and not in any paid or unpaid capacity as a journalist or investigator, to study, discover, or make public any person’s or group of people’s affiliations, identities, or activities."
Further supporting that belief is this twitter post, stating that "media is not allowed and will be escorted out."
I was told this by
Mlller. He tells me he "didn't follow any of the rumors/words and stuff and just went straight to Saphy and Sibe to get the word on their respective chains of events."

I went as Trollface / Coolface trolling people, dancing funnily, and photo-bombing as many people as possible.
IT WAS AMAZING.
I lost count of the number of pictures I photo-bombed, and I had somewhere between 5-7 videos taken.
I have about 4 pics found of me so far, I'll be re posting the pictures as I find them.
I'll make some noise. x3

Posted 14 years agoHad a pretty FANTASTIC TIME this weekend with everyone.
Went and hung out with
keeko-chan Friday so I wouldn't have to take the bus ALL the way down on Saturday to 
wolfirotisha's Birthday party, which no one but me and Keeko showed up for.
Furlife, I am disappoint.
Later that day Keeko and I went to
furtherecord pretty much directly from Irotisha's party with him and another fur. We (Or at least I did.) had an adventure getting to the dance, but we made it! And OH MY GOD it was fun.
My legs are STILL hurting from dancing so hard. It was super fun letting loose and going wild on the dance floor. I got a free t-shirt from
kitty-loves-monster, which was awesome.
I signed up for a Livestream account. I'm messing around with stuff right now and seeing how it works, but I'll start streaming stuff I'm working on. We'll see how it goes. I'll make some noise in a journal when I do stream, just like with the Tinychat stuff.
Also, to any of you Furlife peeps out there that might read this, I'm at a point where I desperately need to start putting energy into other areas of my life, and won't be able to attend meets as often as I have been, and probably won't be going to Rainfurrest this year. I'll be sure to keep in touch, and you can still reach me through here, Furlife, and email and IM. I'm not gonna up and disappear on y'all.

Next time I think I'll try to pick a time I'll go live, and post ahead of time to see how many people I can get to come.
And maybe next time I'll play some group games like 20 Questions, Ask Me Anything!, or if I'm brave enough, Truth or Dare. xD

Posted 14 years agoHey everyone! Doing another random little journal blurb cause, well, I feel like it.
Pretty psyched for this weekend, if all goes according to my hastily made plans. Gonna be haulin' my ass out to Razzy's for her Craft Night she's holding, which seems like it's gonna be pretty fun. Had to write FOUR pages of note-card sized instructions on how to get there. Gonna be taking a bus, a ferry, two more buses, ANOTHER ferry, and one final bus. Total of four hours and ten bucks, just getting there. Then again, she's letting me crash at her place and I'm getting a carpool with people to the Rainfurrest Kickoff Barbecue the next day, and then probably to Safyras's Party later in the day, so it's gonna be worth it.
OMG OKAY. So last night I didn't sleep. AT ALL. Wanna know why? I was reading/watching RUBY QUEST all freaking night. "An imageboard-based RPG styled as a text adventure, created and DM'ed by a certain person nicknamed Weaver." -tvtropes.org
Think of a confusing but engaging puzzle romp that swiftly becomes a descent into madness not unlike the best Call of Cthulhu game you have ever been in, but twice as fucked up.

The Metal Glen
My mother told me once of when
A young hare ventured from her den
And as she danced in field and glen
The world sang joy about her.
But wicked hateful things abound
And that young hare these evils found
Then whisked her up from off the ground
And glen was left without her.
The wicked power tore asunder
And with this cruel and fateful blunder
Cast her to a world of wonder
Would she e'er see home again?
And so hare flew that mournful day
Over the sky and far away
And down and down, beneath the sea
To a place unlike the glen.
A world of men and man's design
A place where God's light would not shine
A Hell of steel beneath the brine

Posted 14 years agoThese past few weeks have been great. I've gone to so many meets with the group of local furries! They're all such cool and awesome people, and I always have a blast. I'm really looking forward to the movie night coming up this weekend! =3=
I'm also starting to seriously look for a place to stay, though my budget is in the low, LOW range. Going to have to dip into my college funds for the first few months till I find a job, due to having almost no money to my name, and then work for several months to pay the balance off. I'll figure it out. Somehow. ;x;

Just realized that I do actually have one slightly outdated image of him buried on my hard drive, I'll get permission to post it or have it posted eventually... But here is an image of the badge! Go and give her love and favorites, 'cause she's awesome! =3=
I'm really enjoying the meetup group I've joined. I've made so many interesting friends, and have gone on so many fun adventures! I find myself looking forward to the meets more and more with each day that passes.

For now I'll start fleshing out my profile. Yesss. That sounds good.
