Hello all! Hope you're well, and that your New Year is starting out great!

I wanted to talk a bit about my plans for this coming year, or at least for the next few months. There's not a lot I have in mind, but I thought I'd touch on a few things:

*Noel's Christmas comic is going well! I'm almost done with it, I'm so close now I can realistically finish it in the coming month if I focus on it more. It'll be my biggest project I've done to completion yet, and actually getting it done will be a real confidence boost for sure. Thanks for sticking with me through all of it! It's been real up and down in terms of updates, but I've learned a lot, especially on how to work within my own limitations, as a writer and an artist.

*Tao of Forest will be back sometime after that's completed! I'll likely take a break though, cause this has been a lot of work. X3

*The Noel "Happy Nude Deer" picture I do every year is still on the way, possibly in the next day or two! I'll also get around to posting some Christmas stuff I never got around to putting up, as well as a few other things I'm trying to finish... There's no shortage of things to work on of course.

Thank you so for your support and encouragement, I'm still trying to find a good balance between all the things I need and want to do, it just never gets easier, haha.

Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing okay and aren't suffering under the extreme weather conditions we've got going on in the states here. Record breaking temps where I live, was 110°+ earlier last week. XP Craziness.

In any case, I wanted to cover a few things! First off, I'm still working on Noel's comic, I've hit a few snags and I really (really) wanna get it done soon, but I also want to do my best, and this is the most complex part of the story...Since I'm out of Jury Duty and gotten to rest up a lil bit, I'm trying hard to get back into working on it. Here's hoping the ending to the comic turns out as well as I want it to! It's definitely going to be more than 20 pages though, as much as I was hoping to keep it under...But at least things won't be rushed? I've been planning this for years now, so I want it to be the best it can be, regardless of arbitrary limitations.

Next up, birthday this month! July 25th! Not expecting anything but people get grumpy when I don't give them a heads-up so...Heads up? lol

I know I've not been super active here, and I already posted to my other accounts, but...

Just wanted to mention that I'm probably not going to be very active for a while, on here and otherwise. My dad passed away yesterday, and I'm gonna need some time to recover and deal with that. It's been real rough.

First off, I wanted to thank everyone who wished me a happy birthday this year! It was a pretty peaceful one, which I've come to appreciate the older I get; not that I don't like a good party, but dealing with family and such just gets more and more troublesome year after year, haha. I'm hoping you all have as much fun with it as I am so far, and while I don't have a set update schedule at this point in time, I'm hoping for several comics a month at the least, but we'll see how it goes. It's not a direct placement for FW! Adventures (can't believe I used to do that three times a week), but it's got a lot of the same characters, and I've learned a lot about writing and drawing since then. So! Hello!

For anyone that's followed this account for any length of time (thanks to everyone who does <3), you might have noticed my lil Kingdom Hearts fan comic I've been working on! Can see it here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/2343554/

Thanks to the release of Kingdom Hearts 3, I've gone back and looked over it, and been considering when/if I'll realistically be able to finish it. I did start it 9 years ago! I took much too long for each page, and it's a bit disappointing looking back at all that time and I've only done like...Well, 40 pages, but still! I took so long that KH3 came out!

...So what do I do from here? Keep going? Change the format? Give up? I find my time at odds with what I want to do and frankly, it drives me a bit crazy at times.

I have sooo many ideas, so much I want to work on, but just not enough time or energy to do so. I'd very much like to get Noel's setting started, I wanna get further into KH story I've had written for almost 10 years now. XD But I figure I have a few choices on what to do from here.

1) I continue as is, and attempt to fit the whole story I had planned in,
2) I shorten things. Cut out a lot of content and condense the story so I can maybe manage it over the next few years?
3) Switch formats. I was thinking "illustrated story", but I'm not sure how much people would enjoy that. I feel like a lot of the draw is the comic aspect of things.
4) Give up on it. Focus more on Noel's stuff and never bring to fruition the ideas I've had since playing KH1 (Bad End).

What do you all think? I've been in my head over this for much too long, haha, some outside commentary would be welcome!

This month was/is pretty bad in terms of getting anything done. Between work, stress at home, and getting sick/food poisoning, I think I'll have to scrap my plans and just call it quits on any ideas I had going. Sorry, I'll try to do better in 2018!

Hello everyone, hope you're doing well! And Happy Thanksgiving for those of you in America! My yearly chubbeh wuff drawing will be later/tomorrow, due to family obligations. Sorry! X3

I realize things have been quiet around here, so I wanted to give an update:
1) I'm working on eliminating a massive debt I've been saddled with, so I'm taking steps to do that...Good progress since June so far. Hoping to have it completely paid off next year, if things go well.
2) Work is going very well, I'm hoping to get a raise in February if things work out. That'll help with #1 I believe.
3) I'd say I'll have stuff to post soon, but I've not really done anything noteworthy enough to go up here. That being said...

I'm finally going to move forward with a major comic project I've had in mind for the past...Two years? No, not the Kingdom Hearts one (though I'm going to be continuing that as soon as I can), but a Christmas/holiday themed comic, starring Noel! I'll be working on that during the month of December, though I'm unsure if I should post each page as I do it, or just all at once towards the end of the month. My goal is for it to be around 16 pages or so, I'll be finishing writing up the story this month and that'll give me a more clear idea of what I want to do.

The story should revolve around the relationship between Noel and his sister, and his struggles with finding out his place in their world...The magical, holiday-themed world they live in (they are reindeer after all), so its a bit silly in that regard. But yeah, it'll be fun to actually dive into a setting I've had in mind for so long! Here's hoping it all works out. X3

Long story short, work is being crazy, leaving me drained and with not a lot of free time! Thankfully it should all be done with next month one way or another, so I can get back to doing what I want to: Drawing. Also programming. I wanna make a game! :D

Its live now on Chrome, but it'll be a day or so for Firefox, because of their review process. This update sees the return of short description filtering! This was removed in recent versions due to the difficulty of doing so with the FA update (and plugin restrictions), but I've found an acceptable work around so that's back in! Filtering should now be more accurate/fast now, so look for that.

This update also fixes the issue of random filtering on submission/user pages. The plugin now only activates on the Home, Browse, and Search pages.

So FA's new layout changes made me have to update the FA plugin I built. Chrome should take an hour or so to go up, Firefox has a review process. So I'd check back in a day or two and update my extensions then.

Now on version 1.0.5! If your version isn't that one, its not the newest one!

Took a while to wait for Firefox to get things in place to allow my plugin to work on both. Now it does and its great, haha. So if you've got either one of those browsers, give it a try, and let me know how it works for ya!

Note: Sync doesn't work on Firefox yet, but its a minor thing.

Let's see...Other than that, I've just been real busy! Work has been picking up, I've got more responsibilities, but I at least enjoy what I do, and I'm good at it, which helps. Unfortunately, that leaves me rather drained by the time I get home, so I've not much energy for much else.

That said though, I'm working on several projects right now, full color pictures, stories...I need some time off to get all this done, lol. Recent(ish) pictures I've done, such as the Undertale picture have really made me realize that I enjoy reaching people with my artwork, making them smile, laugh, or just think about things. The In My Head series is a good example of this too. Being able to make a connection with someone I don't know through something I draw is amazing to me. I'm proud of that, if nothing else. I want to produce more work like that.

In any case, you all take care, and I'll try to update this more than every 5 months or so, lol.

Its Chrome/Chromium only right now because Firefox is being dumb with their current plugin/extension setup. Once they straighten that out it'll be an easy port.

So, to anyone using my FilterAffinity browser plugin, I hope its been helpful to you! I spent a lot of my time and effort into making it work with some of the (admittedly strange) design choices and such here on FA, and I'm glad its been able to help as many people as it has.

However, its also pretty out of date. Browser updates have rendered it non-functional in both Firefox and Chrome (to an extent), and it'll need to be 1) rewritten and 2) submitted to both browser's stores for approval, as non-signed browser extensions like this will no longer work. That's going to take some work to implement at the very least. On the plus side, all of the browsers are (supposedly) going to use very similar frameworks from now on! Meaning the same code I use in Chrome will work in Firefox, which will also work in Edge, and in Opera if what I'm reading is correct here.

That's great! It saves me some hassle if this actually works out.

However, this sort of thing isn't going to be functional for a few weeks still, at least on Firefox. Then there's the approval process, if that works at all (I had to do some pretty hacky stuff to get the filtering working on the submission descriptions...That might not fly in a review process). In the meantime, please bear with me on this, I'll try to get it up in the appropriate stores when I can, but we'll have to see how it goes.

So, how can you help? Well, you can't quite frankly. XD It'll be faster if I just code it all myself (this sort of thing is basically what I do for a living anyway). But if you wanted to toss a bit of money my way for this endeavor (hint hint) I wouldn't mind it! :D
