-Brief description of the Usurper Vernindad

Reiner Bertholdt better to be known as the Usurper Vernindad was an Oltanian who cheated not only death but changed the course of history in the Oltanian Empire. He's best known for his metal jaw that takes the lower jaw of him.

Birth
Born to a middle class Oltanian Family located on a island southwest of Gorda City, Reiner grew up like most Oltanians in the Empire. However unlike most Oltanians, His family couldn't afford a slave. His father believed hard work or doing it yourself rather than letting a slave do it was better for his son. So for nearly most of his child life Reiner did chores around the house helped build up the town he was raised in. Just before he reached 8 years old his mother dies in childbirth giving birth to his sister Annaliese. Being a single parent Reiner's father sheltered his daughter and made Reiner do all the hard work. This made Reiner envy of his sister who received the attention and love of his father. As they both grew Annaliese became more stern and watched over her brother feeling sorry that he wasn't getting the love he deserved.

Hatred of the Republic
As per tradition in the Oltanian Empire, every village goes through an "invasion" from the Republic. Reiner's village was selected for such an invasion. Oltanian Military dressed up in Republic Armor and began to terrorize his village. While most villagers surrendered Reiner and his father fought back. This invasion was a test to see who was loyal to the Empire. To Reiner this invasion cemented in his brain the brutality of the Republic and what will happen if they surrendered to them. Throughout the course of Reiner's teenage years his village along with others were selected for more "invasions" by the Republic troops. He gained more respect in the eyes of the elite and military as he along with other teenagers of his village defended themselves from the troops.
Joining the Imperial Army
When Reiner was of age he joined the army like all Oltanians, considered a birth right to join the army since he couldn't pass off as a trader or a achieve in riches like a nobleman. However due to Reiner's past with the "invasions" he earned the eye of the Vernindad, Vernindad Heinrich Harrond. He was placed in charge of the Vernindad Elite guard where he served for 2 years before the rule was passed to Heinrich's son Jessop who in turn revealed to Reiner his plan to conquer the Republic. Like with all Vernindads of the past, Jessop told Reiner that his goal was to swarm the Republic and claim victory taking Tretris Oakutarui for the Oltanian Victory. At first Reiner was speculating on how the Vernindad was going to achieve this however Jessop was keen on victory. Now called the Shadow War, Reiner served as the Vernindad's personal guard and was present on Novalis when the Republic surrendered to the Oltanian Empire. However the victory for the Oltanian Empire was short lived...

Battle of the Dragons
When the First Galactic War happened, Reiner was 39, he was still serving under the Vernindad's Personal Guard. When the galaxy entered the First Galactic War, Reiner was the only elite guard protecting Jessop, the Vernindad believed the skills Reiner had was enough to protect him. However Reiner's true test came when the Empire razed Meridum attracting the Intelonian General; Adrian Rendaux. Both Reiner and Adrian battled onboard the Vernindad's flagship the Bertoon's Grave.
The Vernindad wanted to capture Adrian and use him for the Empire, at first Reiner seemed to be winning however the only way Reiner was able to do it was jabbing Adrian in the chest with his spear. However something inside Rendaux sparked something that to this day shocks the Empire. Harnessing the dragon blood inside him Rendaux became empowered as if his soul was taking control. This overpowered Reiner, Rendaux now with the upper hand defeated Reiner and in his mode instead of killing the Oltanian he severed Reiner's jaw clean off before collapsing. Reiner bleeding rushed to a medical bay and had his injuries treated. However it was beyond redemption for the Oltanian as the only option left for Reiner was a mechanical jaw...

Usurping the Vernindad
When Reiner returned to Oltanis after the First Galactic War, he was outcasted from the Oltanian Society, his mechanical jaw prevented him from being celebrated along with the other surviving Strategists. He returned to the Royal Palace only to be outcasted not only by the other guards but from the Vernindad himself. This left Reiner in a depressed state without a mate to continue his family's line, Reiner was forced to return to his family home off the Gorda City coast. Only his family accepted him with a sour demeanor. Soon Reiner after mustering up the courage decided to do the unthinkable in the Oltanian Empire. He went to the Royal Palace and assassinated Jessop Harrond right infront of the Oltanian Nobleman, he declared to the Oltanian Empire that he was now the Vernindad. He usurped the Throne from the age old Harrond Bloodline and ushered in a new change to the Oltanian Empire. At first no-one in the Empire wanted to follow Reiner, they even sent assassins to take him out but Reiner was clever and outsmarted them, he proved to the Oltanians that he was the new leader and wanted to show every Oltanian that he was going to usher in a new age of change to the Empire.

In the end, Reiner Bertholdt went from a kid off the coast of Gorda City to the Oltanian Elite Guard to the Empire's first Usurper Vernindad. He ushered in a new Empire and the people that followed him changed the Empire to a better more accepting Empire.

Imperial Era: 0 GRS to 350 GRS
*Koruscians make spacefall with their first spaceship named Emden they explore the outer reaches of their system to discover.
*Several years later around 6 of 0 GRS, the Koruscians created the first Hyperdrive-capable technology called Hyperspace Gate
*The Great Shift occurs on the planet Korus' lower and equatorial latitudes killing most of the Koruscian populace except the Northern Koruscians
*Sometimes around the conclusion of 7 of 0 GRS the Koruscians rebuild their homeworld and build their first above water city Aqualolis
*The Koruscians after rebuilding their homeworld finished constructing the first ever Hyperspace Gate after years of delay.
*From Korus the Koruscians colonize their first world of Melignor located at the edge of their empire.
*Stabilization of the Hyperspace Gates creates more opportunities for the Koruscians as they colonize more worlds around the Korus System.
*By the end of 1 GRS the Koruscians established a small section of space comprised of Maktar, Fhornlin, and Ytorus.
*Political uprisings in the later half of 5 GRS changes the Koruscian Empire from a colonial empire to a trading empire followed by the first ever Koruscian Council.
*Around 10 GRS the Hyperspace Gates are stabilized and the Koruscians continue to expand westward to what is now the Korus Routes.
*Sometime around 25 GRS, the Koruscians come across their first alien civilization on the planet Toxicus located in their lower empire called Ivento.
*Around the conclusion of 25 GRS the Koruscians welcome the Ivento civilization to space travel and officially absorb the aliens in their empire.
*Sometime around 40 GRS the Ivento rebel against the Koruscians due to a new ruler's decree, the Koruscians at first send their fleet to intimidate the Ivento, however the King takes his people that support him and head west, according to Koruscian scouts they eventually fade out of memory.
*The Koruscians expand westward to what is now the Garreous Cluster where they meet another civilization called the Garreous Empire.
*The Garreous Empire welcomes the Koruscian Empire with open arms, the Koruscians in response absorb the small empire into their own.
*Sometime around 52 GRS the new ruler of the Garreous Empire begins to start rebellions across the Koruscian Empire inciting that the Koruscians don't care about the people.
*The Expansion Wars begin with the ruler of the Garreous Empire taking on the Koruscian Empire.
*For nearly 5 years the Garreous Empire claimed parts of the Koruscian Empire, but the Koruscians fight back forcing them back into the Cluster.
*At the conclusion of 53 GRS the Koruscians end ties with the Garreous Empire, keeping a strict border patrol at their borders.
*The Garreous Empire soon falls into anarchy due to internal power struggles at the conclusion of the Expansion Wars.
*Following the conclusion of the Expansion Wars, the Koruscians adopt a Xenophile trait while still being cautious on other empires they come across.
*Around 100 GRS the Koruscian Empire establish their first trade route called the Korus Route which circles around the Koruscian Empire.
*Sometime around 110 GRS, the Koruscian Empire re-explores the Garreous Cluster, they find out the former empire that once fought the Koruscian Empire has reduced to smaller civilizations scattered across the cluster.
*Around the conclusion of 111 GRS, the Koruscians absorb the Garreous Cluster once again this time keeping strict guard on the cluster.
*Around 150 GRS the Koruscians begin their first exploration to the far western Whirlpool to what is now the Northwest Whirlpool Galaxy.
*Around 175 GRS, Koruscians discover an abandoned Crocodite Temple on the planet Torais where they discover Cyranos an ancient Crocodite android.
*The Koruscian Council become enthralled by Cyranos, they reverse engineer parts of Cyranos to create advanced technologies that seem impossible to maintain.
*With the new technological jump, the Koruscian Empire creates the modernized Hyperspace Cannon based and designed from the remnants of the Crocodite Empire's hyperspace cannons.
*Sometime around 200 GRS the Koruscians explore the Northwest Whirlpool establishing their second hyperspace lane originally called Northwest Run.
*Around 210 GRS, the Koruscians expanded to what is now called Northern Republic Territory
*The Koruscian Council decides to splits into two factions while still united under the Koruscian Flag, they sent half their council to the Northwest Run to maintain order there while the other half maintains the motherland of the Empire.
*With their united territory the Koruscians established themselves as the dominant superpower in the galaxy, despite being the only empire that reached spacefall.
*Around 250 GRS, the Koruscian Council drafted the first ever "modern" shipyard over their homeworld while at the same time establishing shipyards in the Northwest Run.
*The new shipyard drastically changes the Trading Empire into a modern superpower, where they focus their needs on military approach while still maintaining their trade empire.
*By the end of 260 GRS the Koruscians transformed their home system into a shipyard powerhouse, with nearly 40 shipyards built across the system.
*To record their history, the Koruscians re-activate Cyranos so he can record the history, they build the Koruscian Library of Knowledge in Korus City to house the knowledge of the Koruscian Empire.
*Word gets out that the Northwest Run council is overrun by revolutionaries who demand a free Empire from the Koruscian Empire. The Council responds with their first ever attack since the Expansion Wars.
*For the first half of 268 GRS, the revolutionaries fight the Koruscian Empire, the Koruscian Empire fight back by bombarding revolutionary strongholds across the Northwest Run. By the end of 268 the Revolutionaries surrender not before sabotaging the Northwest Run's economy to the point of collapse.
*Around 270 GRS the Koruscian Empire send relief efforts to the Northwest Run to help rebuild worlds affected by the revolutionaries, this eventually leads to the Koruscian Council's absorption of the Northwest Run Council.
*Sometime around 279 GRS, the Koruscian Council disbands the Northwest Run in favor of the core Koruscian Systems, leaving the Northwest Run to fend for themselves. However by the end of 280 GRS the move was rescinded and the council brings the Northwest Run back under the Empire's rule.
*Around 281 GRS the Koruscian Scientists discover the Whirlpool Galaxy has a companion galaxy, they nickname this galaxy, the Koruscii's Soul
*With recent discoveries around 282 GRS the Council demanded they explore more of the galaxy, however their technology can only expand so far.
*Around 285 GRS, the Koruscian Scouts discover an area of space filled with ancient ruins to the northwest of the core Koruscian Worlds, they give them the name Caarn Space.
*Around 286 GRS the Oakutaruian Empire is established on the planet Czaria.
*The Oakutaruians according to Koruscian Scholars are the remnants of the Concordus Civilization.
*The Oakutaruians followed the beliefs of pacifism and worshiped Concordia according to scholars, their first temple dedicated to Concordia is built in the heart of Czaria.
*Sometime around 287 GRS the Oakutaruians reach spacefall and establish their first colony on the moon of Czaria. Around this time the Koruscians explore southward.
*At the conclusion of 287 GRS the Oakutaruians transformed their homeworld into an ecumenopolis, the first ever city world in history.
To support their newly established city world the Oakutaruians utilized special hyperspace cannons used by their predecessor the Concordus Civilization, the colonize the nearby world of Eclleon and establish it as a farmland world.
*Fearing that Eclleon wouldn't be enough, they colonized the worlds Haorun, Arenes and Layyrshk. All dedicated farming worlds.
*The Oakutaruians established their next colony on Oakutarui III the third planet in the homeworld system, they established Mezzazia City as the first city on Oakutarui III.
*Around 290 GRS, the Oakutaruians expanded to a small cluster of worlds called Tarui's Run or better known as the Czarian Cluster.
*Sometime around 300 GRS the Oakutaruians establish their last colony world called Katarui located on the edge of the Oakutaruian Empire border.
*Due to resource and economic setbacks the Oakutaruians didn't expand further out unlike the Koruscians, they kept to their little area of space and maintained their empire.
*Sometime around 324 GRS the Koruscians makes contact with the Oakutaruian Empire by mistake. Both empires are shocked to find another empire in the galaxy.
*Both the Koruscians and Oakutaruians establish connections with each other and start their first healthy trade that didn't end in violence.
*By the end of 330 GRS the trade from Koruscians help the Oakutaruians help establish dominate control over what is now the Southern Republic Territory
*Sometime around 332 GRS the Koruscian Empire sent an envoy to the Oakutaruian Capital, they propose to absorb their empire in exchange for protection and trade, the Oakutaruians rejected the offer due to how far both empires are in the galaxy.
*The Oakutaruians establish the colony Oakutarui in 334 GRS as a pseudo capital for the Empire in case strife would happen in the empire.
*At the conclusion of 335 GRS, Oakutaruian Prophets predict an exo-galactic species coming to the galaxy from a far away galaxy.
*Taking word to heart the Oakutaruians prepare for the upcoming visitors however due to the prediction the Oakutaruians brush it aside and let the new generation handle it.
*Around 340 GRS, the Oakutaruian Empire adopts the Koruscian Xenophile trait to their empire, they welcome new species found in their territory, while still maintaining the Pacifist trait.
*Both the Koruscians and Oakutaruians explore the area of space what is now the Republic Core Worlds.
*Around 349 GRS, another prophecy from the Oakutaruians Prophets predict the galaxy will change when the exo-galactic species arrives. However the Oakutaruians keep this intel away from the Koruscians in fear of backlash and hatred.
*The Intelonians arrive in the Whirlpool Galaxy from the Milky Way Galaxy after the captain of the Cadmus redirects the cyroship to the Whirlpool Galaxy.
*The Imperial Era ends when the Intelonians arrive over Tretris Oakutarui

The First Whirlpool Cold War was a cold war that happened between the Shadow War and The First Galactic War.
The Cold War was mainly between the Galactic Republic of Tretris and the Oltanian Empire. It lasted for 35 years and was considered one of the most active Cold Wars in the galactic history.

Starting the Cold War was the Shadow War, a brutal campaign orchestrated by the Oltanian Empire after their re-emergence in the Whirlpool Galaxy around 135 of 2779 GRS. The Shadow War was a year long war that crippled the Republic of Tretris to the point of collapse, it was considered one of the most deadliest attacks ever done by the Oltanian Empire, however what made the Shadow War so deadly and so cost worthy was the economic impact it did on the galaxy. The Republic was in turmoil for the first 3 years after the Shadow War. Refugees escaping the Northern Republic Territory which was recently given to the Oltanian Empire as part of the Treaty of Tretris Oakutarui, and refugees coming from war torn worlds caused by the war. In the Capital which was hit the hardest in the conclusion of the War, many sectors were abandoned due to the extensive damage from the Oltanian Bombardment this weakened the infrastructure of the cities of the planet. With sections of the city abandoned this lead to many more refugees flocking to them just to find shelter. Out of this black markets began to spring up in these sections and began to hold them down so Republic and Shanksville Police can't regain control.

Meanwhile other worlds were given the back end of the Treaty some saw reparations to the Oltanian Empire and its newly gained territory in the Whirlpool Galaxy. Many worlds like Arrogosii V and the Twin Systems saw that the Republic simply surrendered to the Oltanian Empire, this caused uprisings in their worlds. In the Twin Systems the Royal Line was executed by Demitri Allandar and his followers and declared themselves the ruler of the Twin Systems. As part of their new rule they seceded from the Republic to remain independent so they won't have to pay the reparations stated in the Treaty. Other worlds like Arrogosii V seceded as well from the Republic not because of their hatred from the Core Worlds, but more of their position from the war. The Arrogosiian Council predicted the war and the Republic's surrender they knew the Republic was going to fall but instead of paying reparations along with the rest of the Republic the Arrogosiian Council seceded from the Republic and defend themselves. Many more worlds seceded from the Republic following after the Treaty of Tretris Oakutarui this severely crippled the Republic.

Meanwhile on the Oltanian side, the Otlanians were celebrating their victory over the Republic, however Vernindad Jessop didn't want to revel in the victory. He prepared the Empire for the upcoming war, the war that will completely wipe the Republic. However they needed to defeat the rebellions in the Northern Republic Territory. Many worlds didn't like they were given to the Empire, this stretched the Fleet due to many outbreaks of rebellion throughout the Northern Republic Territory. The most known rebellion was the Koruscian Rebellion. The Koruscians of the planet Korus were outraged that they were given away to the Oltanian Empire, so they set off attacks across their former empire to show the Oltanians they meant business. At first Jessop ordered those that resisted to be enslaved, and if they continued to be executed. However he was holding the Republic's major shipyard makers so executions were hard to give. For nearly 5 years the Koruscian Rebellions continued to the point the Vernindad gave the planet Korus back to the Republic under an agreement to end the Rebellions. This gesture soon ended the Rebellions only for Korus however the other planets continued to rebel. However with Korus now back under the Republic those escaping the enslavement process came to Korus to hide. At the same time this meant the Republic can rebuild their fleet again without the Oltanians spying on them.

In the end, the Cold War between the two superpowers continued till the First Galactic War when the Oltanians attacked the Republic Capital. However the Cold War left an impact on the Galaxy, as the galaxy recovered so did those affected by the War, many territories saw this action and prepared for an Oltanian Invasion even though the Oltanians were only after the Republic, many worlds in bordering the Republic were affected by the Oltanian attack. The impact of paranoia of another invasion from the Oltanians remained alive in the minds of the Republic citizens, they knew the Oltanians were going to finish their attack on the Republic and whether it be today or tomorrow the fear of another invasion, losing everything they have was up in the air.

Its been nearly 17 years since the Chronicles was first laid down into history. Its lore, its stories, its worlds all have been constantly updated but now its time to work on the story arcs that make up the Chronicles.

The Royal Family Arc
The main story arc, divided into 4 sub arcs, the Royal Family main explains the Republic's origin and how it came to be one of the galaxy's superpowers. It describes the Royal Family of the Galactic Republic, a massive monarch republic located in the Whirlpool's Western Half.

The Demon Hunter Arc
The Demon Hunter Arc is a sub arc to the Royal Family but differs entirely. Following the Demon Hunters and their origin it describes the story of Cairne Smith, cousin to the first Royal Family of the Galactic Republic, its the only arc in the Chronicles that changes another. In the past the Demon Hunter Arc has always intertwined with the Royal Family Arc and at the conclusion of both arcs leads to the Insanity Arc which succeeds both the Royal Family and Demon Hunter Arcs together.

Bounty Hunter Arc
Ever wondered what the black market is like in the Whirlpool Galaxy? Ever wondered what the bounty hunters get when they follow the rules? Well the Bounty Hunter Arc is there, revolving around Crocodite Draugrson and Aridian Bounty Hunter Jaxter'kaii this Arc promises thrills and chills when it comes to it's story.

RCIS Arc
The last arc in the Chronicles, and the point of this journal. The RCIS Arc is the last arc to be laid down, even though it came before the Bounty Hunter Arc the RCIS Arc is a crime scene investigation arc revolving around the Republic's RCIS or known as the Republic Criminal Investigation service. Known primarily for their helping in the Republic Military the RCIS helps solves civilian cases if the need arises.

Now the point of this journal was the label out the Story Arcs for the Chronicles, but also help out those who are interested in it, so if you're interested hearing more drop a comment and I'll show you the wonder the Chronicles ^^

Now for those wondering why I suddenly left my C-MaxisGR Account and went to this account. I said I'll explain and I will, but I rather not explain it over a journal and get flagged as a drama post. Anyway, I've saved enough money to go on a tour of the East Coast, found a tour bus line that'll take me to New York City, then Niagara Falls, followed by Philadelphia and then finally Washington D.C. The trip was long in the making as according to my therapist, a much needed vacation. Sure my term of a vacation is a trip to California or Arizona, but my therapist said a trip far from the West Coast is much needed, so I decided to take this vacation tour of the East Coast for a little RnR. It might also reinvigorate my drawing skills so I can do more drawing along the way.

Anyway that it for now, Hope to meet some of you East Coast furs another time, next stop Sweden and meet the soulmate. Anyway I'll be leaving tomorrow morning to catch the flight to LaGuardia and from there the trip begins, Hope to have a safe trip and a great time there!

I've been tempted to do a YCH, but always afraid it won't fair any traffic or my art isn't as good to host one, I don't think Im well known enough to even consider doing a YCH its just one of those things Im afraid of doing. Fearing my art isn't that good or that I don't find any traffic for it.

Chronicles Update:
A Dinosaur-like species capable of reverse-engineering technology has been introduced to the Chronicles, a 50/50 chance they'll be the Delotoiians or possibly they could be the Tolorn but it's a 50/50 chance on it. They are able to reverse-engineer technology that crashed on their homeworld, this technology is remnants from the Great Extinction that rocked the galaxy nearly several eons ago (sometime around 4000 PGRS).

Chronicles Update:
The New Timeline as of now takes around the First Galactic War, the Smith Royal Family takes the reins in the midst of the Galaxy's most dangerous and costly war. Adrian's age now is fixed to this timeline, meaning anything before the 2017 Reconstruction is officially null and void. This also opens up the potential for new ideas so those interested in the Chronicles can join.

Chronicles Update:
The 2017 Reconstruction is also considered the 2016 Reconstruction but everything is being done in 2017 to match the new timeline and everything.

"You don't understand the pain what I went through... The Vernindad... He broke me, Me! The Grand General of the Republic of Tretris! He broke the Republic's greatest General! I let my own weakness get the better of me, a weakness he exposed for his own personal gain! Now you're asking me to forget that?! What on Intelus do you think that's possible?!" Adrian says with an exasperated expression. "It's because you are strong, you proved it to me when you came here, you told me what happened. I see great potential in you, you just need to move on from it." Haylin said with a caring smile causing the Dragon to blush."

Health Update
My health is turning into a better way now, the Medication I am on has worked it's magic, my schizophrenic episodes aren't as violent as they were before the medication. Though despite the random relapses I get every now and then. My health is turning better. I am getting another re-diagnosis/evaluation later this week in hopes my health is fully stabilized that I won't be needing medication to dictate my life. To those that remained with me, I want to thank you all so much, you guys are so lovely and caring! Thank you all for staying with me during these tough weeks.

What's going to happen to Adrian?
Adrian Solanos, my Gooey Sona and the Chronicles still belong to me, Me and the Co-Founders disbanded the Crew due to recent problems and have taken a year long vacation as planned. Adrian still belongs to me, I didn't give him up, I didn't sell him, I didn't abandoned him. Adrian is still my OC I am just going under alot of stress that I cannot associate myself with him at the moment. However to those that do want Adrian in RP's in chat, my new sona can look like him at their pleasure. So if people say I gave up on Adrian, or I sold him etc etc, Don't listen~

Health Update
Due to recent events that are now over, I've visited a psychiatrist who along with other therapists have helped me with the voices I hear in my head during these "Paranoia Moments" and have prescribed me with some anti-depressants to help deal with them for a month. If the voices persist they'll amp up the dosage or check me into a ward. However I hope that step won't be needed. Thanks to all the beautiful, loving, and caring friends all around; you know who you guys are; I am slowly heading down the path of recovery so eventually by September or October, my health will finally recover so I can return to the positive wolf/dragon again.

Account Update
As many of those found out, this account was my backup account created, my real account  C-MaxisGR was disabled due to Drama, Stress, and other reasons. I've moved onto this account from now on to escape the stress for as mentioned above, the betterment of my health. I will transfer over some of the C-MaxisGR Artwork over time, though I might reactivate the account down the line, hopefully when my life has straightened out to a better path. The new Starbound Update just came out, and already it's got me addicted like a blackhole has with light. Was just curious to ask, does anyone else have it? The new update has Steam Multiplayer! It'd be cool to play with friends again ^^
