I'm gonna try to squeeze in some more commissions today. Same rules apply as in: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6445825/

I'll probably take up to $10 dollars worth of commissions. Leave a comment on this journal, send a note, or IM me if you want a commission. I reserve the right to refuse to do the commission, and to quit halfway. I don't accept payment until the work is completed, anyway.

Today I'm relatively free, so I'm open to doing traditional commissions.

$2.00 for full body characters. Example of fullbody characters:

Note: The Vortex does NOT count as a character. However, multiple small details such as that will constitute a price if it requires enough time and work (between 1 and 4 dollars depending on how much of the page it demands and how much work it requires).

1 bust, for $1.00, plus one complex detail and dialogue for another $1.00 each.

I may have more examples after today. I reserve the right to refuse a commission because I deem it too uncomfortable or too complex to finish it within my traditional sketch time limit.

Digital Inking:

Inking costs half the price of the original image. So if your two character image costs $4.00, inking it will cost $2.00.

If I deem the image unfit to be inked in the stream (for instance, if it's too 'mature' for my channel), we can discuss if you'd still like me to ink it outside the stream or afterward.

I'm thinking of main-ing with the Pawpy fursona, since a certain is now only ever a Fory, and it would maybe alleviate confusion. I do have permission from him. He's indicated he's not going to wear Pawpy much at all and I could instead. X:

One of the biggest issues I've always had with digital art is tablets and the discomfort that results. (The other issue being GIMP because holy shit GIMP.) I'm curious what tablets other artists use and how comfortable they are with them. I tend to draw traditionally so if there's a tablet that feels as comfortable as drawing with a pencil feel free to say so.

I've been using a Wacom bamboo capture tablet. What do you guys use?

I'm looking to replace my current scanner-printer because the driver on the Scanner no longer works. I'm looking to replace it for under a hundred dollars. Does anyone reading this have advice towards getting an all-in-one/combo printer? I can use Amazon or national electronics retailers like Office Depot, Best Buy, etc.

For all those interested, Foryday will be Friday, April 11th. If anyone has a problem with that, speak up now!

The 'Foryweek' will start that Monday, on the 7th, and end that Sunday on the 13th, so participants can start with the celebrations on Monday. Icons will be distributed that Sunday.

Also, I did a mini poll on whether it should be Foryday or Foryweek. It was a fairly even split so there will be an 'official' day for it, and then anyone else can just wear it for the rest of the week for an 'unofficial' Foryweek. Please note, this holiday is by no means official as a day OR a week.

So we're currently in the middle of the fandom-made holiday 'hypno bear' week, one of a larger number of fandom-made holidays. I've had a niggling idea at the back of my mind for some time as a result of all these. A combination of goofy holiday excuses and my own cloning inclinations.

So I figured, why not try a joke holiday, Foryday (or week), with participants celebrating simply by wearing a fory avatar, name, and form, and acting as fory-like as they wish. It's a silly idea but I've gotten a little support for it from people I've discussed it with before.

If the idea actually goes through, I'd provide a link to a stash of fory icons for participants to wear. The date will be decided later so it doesn't coincide with other fandom holidays. Participants would sign up in a journal in advance just so I know who I did or did not give the icons to, lol.

In any case, please respond below if the idea actually interests you!

Some Fory fun facts:
Forykoopa originally had white scales. The scales are beige due to a color layer overlay effect by kuma. However the beige look worked so much better than the white one that I kept it. Yes, that's right, the beige was an accident.

Forykoopa and Forybur (and likely some future fursona) are interesting in that their facial hair has been requested to mimic mine at the time. Forykoopa has the sideburns and chin tuft my freshman self had, while forybur's beard more closely mimics (if a bit embellishes) the thick thing I had growing on me these days.

Raptor Fory is the only fory, to date, to be blue. There had been designs before that implemented blue as a color, but raptor is the first to have blue as the base color.

'Fory Yoshi' is not actually me. It's Pawpy. If yer curious about how the hell that happens, you can inquire with either pawpy or myself. xD

Inking:
Inking is presently free of charge and done on request. However, I may make mistakes (major or minor) so you must take that into consideration and be willing to accept that it can happen before requesting this.

My rules are as follows:

1) I like to finish my work before I accept payment.
2) You may take as many slots as you like.
3) Because I do not accept payment until completion, I may cancel commissions without completing or starting them if I am interrupted by classes, extenuating circumstances, or simply not being as comfortable with the commission content as I'd at first thought.

I take subject matter on a case by case basis. The worst I can say is no, I'm not the type to go downtalking you for having an interest I don't agree with; how many people do you think agree with body swap?

The last two slots were filled by Linoone, my not at all subtle HM slave, and a Floette I was raising to evolve for the pokedex. Neither took part in any battles.

Special thanks goes out to the pokemon center, without whose hyper potions and full restores I would have died horribly on the elite four member directly preceding the champion. 8D

Overall the game has been a blast, if a bit fast and unsatisfying toward the end. But then, there's always the post game!

Scaley - Scalies = Furry in the making

I only recently realized my number of furry friends far and away outnumbers my scaley ones. It's a small wonder I have such a hard time wearing anything that has scales when I'm surrounded on all sides by fur!

So this is me putting out an SOS to any scalies who pay me any mind: HALP. I need scaley companionship!

Animal Crossing: New Leaf has recently piqued my interest, as the Animal Crossing series always has. I've always wanted to play one of the games of the series but never have due to various constraints. So my request is, would you please tell me why I should or should not play this series, and New Leaf specifically? I'd try it out myself but that's 35 dollars I don't want to waste if I end up not liking the game.
