You gotta be fucking kidding me..
Posted 12 years agoso as a few of you know Ive been waiting on my goddamn paycheck for like, four or five weeks past normal time. Ive been seething because while my boss usually doesnt dick around with me as a senior hand, he's completely been uncommunicative this whole time. Called him at least three-four times a week, and I couldnt catch him at the warehouse and NO ONE knows where he fuckin lives so I couldnt try that.
Today, over a month after the show he FINALLY CALLS ME in for my check. I get there, pick up the check and Its $130 bucks. I wanted to choke him right there. I waited THAT LONG for a check less than what I earned but he wouldnt fucking listen to me. If I'd made the average amount of 160, I'd have been ok. But as it stands I have an outstanding balance to J&T Distributing of 140 some odd dollars. Im going to have to cancel that and eat the restocking fees and whatever else they want to bend me over for which is just fucking depressing. Its the last thing I needed right now.

Posted 12 years agoMy Car is back amongst the living, at least currently. I managed to fix the problems with it jumping back into neutral and am feeling quite good about that really.
Currently though Im still looking at some problems and Im debating if its worth it to fix it, Ive long since sunk more into it than its worth so that ship has long sailed. It idles rough, the exhaust system is shot to hell, Im still tracking down little phantoms in the electric systems after I replaced the computer and most of the wiring ahead of the firewall after it burned it all out with its second Starter a couple years ago.) and the radio and stereo system are ruined. Currently Ive tracked the extremely rough idle back to three possibilities, a cam sensor in the Distributor, and its said its easier to replace the whole unit then replace the sensor, low pressure in a cylinder or lastly the intake gasket thats rotted.
Other than that, I didnt get any of the jobs so eh, thats all fun and games, at least concert gigs are still running nicely.

Posted 13 years agoFurries, getting real tired of your shit. I own guns, That does not make me an evil person nor does it make them evil, no matter their attire, color or magazine size. This is getting way out of hand, Im used to getting stupid comments and emails from folks that dont like guns and see mine, but since the Sandy shooting, I have been threatened with death multiple times(Some saying they want to shoot me or wish someone would, the irony, right?) and been called a slew of vulgar things ranging from just plain stupid to all out racist and bigoted.
The shooting itself, was and will forever be a tragedy, there is no denying that, and I dare anyone out there to find a firearm owner who would disagree with that. Incredibly young and innocent lives were lost in a fashion that makes me weep, but its avoidance would not have been brought around by stricter gun laws. This man was very sick in the head and the swinging door of our mental health system didnt do what needed to be done, the blood is not on my hands, nor on those of any other responsible firearms owner.
For those that wish for more restrictions in order to keep firearms out of the wrong hands, well, your welcome, they did. Current laws kept Ryan from purchasing his own rifle due to his mental state. At that point, he simply stole his mothers firearms and shot her with them before going on one of the most savage and heinous spree's in the history of the United States. At that point, it became the same problem that all laws face, criminals do not obey them, no crime has been avoided because its illegal, they dont care.
Some folks light candles over this, and others light torches, some will try and exploit this tragedy and push for laws they were already behind, stepping all over the memories of the dead in order to push their belief, others will not. I will mourn the losses, but I will not allow someone else to act as if the blood is on my hands.
So, if anyone else wishes to call me a baby killer, or evil, or insane, or stuck in my ways, or wishes to threaten me with death or jail for actions I did not participate in, do it here, were the nice folks can see you stupidity first hand.

I'm not sure. It wasn't the worst by far but it certainly was the hottest, longest summer we've had here, and it dried our land up badly. It's improved now somewhat though.

Update on me and my recent scarcity.
Posted 13 years agoAnyways, here we go. I broke my right(dominant) hand or otherwise damaged it, rather sure I just finished ripping the tendon in the pinky tonight helping people leave as i felt something snap and was in so much pain I was sweating for about 30 minutes. The initial damage happened the 6th or 7th, and I have simply been waiting to get in to my doctor. If the tendon did break fully, its a surgery and a rather short recovery time of about 6 weeks plus any physical therapy needed, its not much from my readings.
So, the bad isnt very fun, to the good!
Ordered the parts kit for my first AK build last week and it arrived yesterday. I wont be able to start on it until the first of the year though, mostly due to money, not the hand wound.
Thanksgiving went well, it was the first one in this house and was a joint op between myself and my mother. No one fell, choked or otherwise had any problems, other than the forgotten wine; i know, a terrible tragedy.
So, the bad isnt very fun, to the good!

I would commission a series of pictures from
Strype and 
rokemi to do various work on my story characters, scenes of interest, and just in general buffing out some other characters. rokemi because her work is very very good, and since shes now cameoing, well, Id have to! :D And strype because he can draw those bloody and aweosme scenes well, also guns. I would also, if the money were there still, get a couple from 
ipoke because he does things really really well too. I would also get the last two images of
disturbedwerewolf and I, you know, the series where shes getting ready to bang my fine self with a strap on. :D I would then, hopefully, get the image that

Posted 13 years agoWell nothing is set in stone but we found a house today, pet friendly, little land, rural area with a detached garage/shop. It's an odd house, only about a third as wide as a normal house floor, but it's two and a half story. To make up for it.
I'll have to work my ass off to make sure we can make the money for it to get in it.
