Hey everyone!

Here's the deal. In past years we have arranged with the Westin to group our reservations together. This year is no different.

Simply, if you have a room at the Westin and want it to be on the cub floor/near to The Hub I need your confirmation # and legal name that the reservation is under. Today is the last day to get this information to me to be able to update the block in time for AC.

We already have 2 suites and 3 regular rooms grouped near us, lets try and take over a whole wing!

Please do not post any information publicly, send me message or a comment and I will email you all my contact info.

Well, I called dell, 1 hour and 40 minutes of my life gone. I got a somewhat ok guy aright away that did not send me to India. Want to know the secret how? It's awesome and so easy.. When you get the prompt "Please tell me what you are calling about" by the automated system I very angrily, and in an elevated voice, but clearly said "My fucking computer isn't working!" and boom. 30 seconds later I got Jeff :>

But, it took over an hour to convince them that as a dell, hp, and toshiba lv1 certified hardware tech I could replace the card myself and not have to spend a month mailing it back and forth. It would have been much faster had I not tried to bully them in to sending someone out :>

So all is well and my brick lives again. Wooooo.

Hitting the road now to deliver a crib north of Boston. Will be in the area for the long weekend. My B-day is tomorrow so I'm excited to be spending it with long time friends. Junk about AC, the Hub, and a million other topics when I get some down time, until then, TTYL!

It's weird. Ac is in just two days, and I'm only marginally excited about it. Why? Mostly due to the stress I think. The Hub has been a major point of stress, and with that on top of my already tight schedule I feel like I'm drowning. Additionally the outlay for the room and stuff for the con makes AC my poorest con. I got to looking back and it has been 3 years since I got any art at AC. I know it's not the end of the world, but still it does suck some of the fun out of the con for me. Worse still is seeing all the awesomeness that other people get done and show off. I'm happy for them and all that, I'm not petty, but it still kinda makes me want to just say screw it to doing the Hub and events when I see what I'm missing out on. Time alone is a huge factor, instead of cons being free form and bouncing from one thing to another I am tied to events and making time to entertain other furs.

As it stands, just for me alone, not counting Felix, Scritchwolf, Teddy, or the generous benefactors that have helped cover the last minute flakes that left us down half our roommates, I have spent about 2 grand out of pocket in the last 3 years. That a whole helluva lot of art, or a new fursuit even I could have had. Even with the room alone, I throw in about 500 bucks, and I live less than a mile form the con! I could walk if I so chose to. Even that right there is enough for a pretty banging con.

I'm not really sure where this is going, or even why I've bothered to type it. I guess I'm just kinda burned out and depressed over AC; and it hasn't even started yet.

Further Confusion is rapidly approaching and The Cub Hub is geared up for another great time. Through the weekend we will open the room up for general hangout to anyone 18+. Times obviously will vary but we will keep you posted via our website and Twitter. If nothing else poke Foxcub, Teddy, or Scritchwolf and we will put you in the know.

Thursday is our setup day, nothing to see here, move along Sir.

Friday is up in the air at this time but we will be posting announcements through the week and the days of the con. Most likely we will open the room up for a more cubby 18+ get together.

Saturday night is Cub Pub! Come join us for our signature event. Booze, music, fur, and a great time, what more is there?! Starting at 9pm we will be opening our doors to anyone 21 years of age and over. Refreshments both alcoholic and non will be available in copious quantity for your consumptive pleasure. This party is open to all persuasions and furs so we ask that you please keep your dress to nothing more risque than you would wear in con space (and not cause a scene). There will be plenty of opportunity through the weekend for romping about in your pampers or that new outfit you are just dying to show off.

Sunday we may be having an I Ain’t Dead Yet Cub party, but again, that all depends on schedules, interest, and remaining padding supply!
