- ***Next feature album announcement: "Come Find Me"*** -
Posted 12 years agoHeya folks!
Well this is it... The "big one". I have been planning this since late last year and have spoken about it with a few friends... But I feel I am now ready to announce it.
My next album, will be "Come Find Me". And the plan is to make this something far far bigger and better than what I have ever produced before. Here are a few things about it:
So this is it... The big one: "Come Find Me". Next step is to do the fund raising video. But I'm pretty confident with your support, I can give you all something greater than anything I could have thought possible several years ago when I joined the fandom. The next update on this will be in June. It's going to be a lot of work, but who knows how far this could go...

Well this is it... The "big one". I have been planning this since late last year and have spoken about it with a few friends... But I feel I am now ready to announce it.
My next album, will be "Come Find Me". And the plan is to make this something far far bigger and better than what I have ever produced before. Here are a few things about it:
- This will be my first ever "Fund Raiser" album. Rather than perform this album at home like previous albums, I have been in touch with Abbey Road Studios in London and they are interested in booking me in for a slot in Studio 3 during the summer, to record a feature length Piano album of some of my most popular original songs as well as some new ones. For those that haven't heard of Abbey Road, check out this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abbey_Road_Studios The Beatles, Pink Floyd and so many others have made their albums here. Why Abbey Road? As a life long Beatles fan, getting the chance to perform and record on their own "turf", the quality of equipment and sheer world class professionals that work there, will help let me give my listeners something leagues above I have offered before... A Fox Amoore album recorded at one of the finest studios in the world! They have given me an estimated cost and it is one I feel that can be reached.
- I will after Confuzzled, be heading over to Holland to spend time with great friends and directors
ezwolf,
wolly & Tom. We will be producing an official promotional video as part of the drive to help make this happen.
- I am planning to invite another musician or two (hopefully giving them a nice surprise) to record with me at Abbey Road for a couple of the tracks.
- I will be using Indiegogo as a platform for the fundraiser. Should the primary goal not meet, I have a fall back plan for another studio to still record the album in a place which far outweighs the technology and equipment available in my own studio.
- It will be a Piano based album, songs such as "A Wolf with No Name", "The Shore", "Myre" and "Shine the Light" will all be performed on a world class Piano, used by many famous bands, film score composers and solo artists (including some of my idols, Thomas Newman and Hans Zimmer!)
- The fundraiser will offer a variety of perks, from simply getting a CD or Digital download copy of it... To getting a character theme written and performed in this famous studio. I will give further details about all the perks available around June!
- The head artist for all the albums artwork and design will be
AlectorFencer And may feature a number of artists coming together to create a beautiful cover and mini booklet for the CD, and digital format for the digital download.

- Australia, Furdu and Singapore review -
Posted 12 years agoMy gosh... Where on earth do I start? So many incredible things happened on this journey that it's going to be impossible to tell it all. But... I shall try my best!
My total travel distance over the last 20 days went over 40,000km. Edinburgh - London - Singapore - Melbourne - Brisbane - Sydney - Singapore - London - Edinburgh. The flight was over 20 hours and although it was a real test of endurance, I flew over some breath-taking countries (including Afghanistan, India and Malaysia!) I have travelled more in that time than I have my entire life.
I have so many people I need to thank it's unreal, but I will try my best and go from the beginning. If I miss anyone I apologize!
First, thanks very much to
arcticpete
fizeokitty for meeting up with me in Melbourne and showing me around. It was amazing finally getting to meet you guys and you are such kind people. (Aha! Gaaaaeeeeeeeeey *prrrt* ;D) Thank you for the merchandise, for the drinks and company. I am already arranging time off for my next journey over there to attend Confurgence! I am missing you both a lot and wish to stay in touch the whole time.
Thank you very much
ozkangaroo,
flamedrake,
joeyjoejoe and all the other
furdu staff. The convention was amazing, I made so many new friends (including the awesome
stucat), had so many awesome experiences... Everything from selling out of albums in 2 hours (And I took a whole big bag!), watching a fantastic magic show, performing with
kazza and
ralarare (Both the charity concert, and a random spot busk where we raised well over $200 in the space of under 30 minutes... You guys are both incredible), to my panel and getting washed around in the Ocean. Brisbane and the Gold Coast is a beautiful place and I cannot say it enough... Go out there at least once in life, it is amazing. Furdu is an amazing convention... Friendly and relaxing... and downright fun!
After the convention myself, Oz, Drake and friends went to theme parks, Australia Zoo (Where thanks to Oz I got some incredible pictures with Red Pandas) and bowling (Where I learned I SUCK at it XD). I stayed around Brisbane with Oz and Stucat, chilled at Oz's home, then we made our way to Sydney. (So many other incredible things happened here, but I will start rambling I think x3).
Myself, Drake and Mackenya made our way to Sydney, where I stayed with Drake, :icon:Jesad: and so many other cool people. They showed me around the city, including the Opera house, the river front and I got some great pictures jamming with Aboriginis! My final night in Sydney was to attend a night party and BBQ, where again, I made so many new friends, it felt as if I had truly never left home.
To sum it up... Australia was simply amazing. The furry community out there is incredible. The kindness and warmth is something everyone needs to experience at least once. I say to all you Aussie furs... Thank you SO much, for making this an unforgettable journey for me. I am missing you all dearly. <3
It doesn't stop there... Oh gosh no. On the way back to Europe, I had 3 day stop in Singapore. The heat and humidity of this place has to be experienced to be believed. Almost right on the equator, this place is constantly hot. The people are so kind and open and every night there is pretty much a party! On the first night I arrived, I attended a local meet of the furries there, colourfully known as "Singhacon". I met so many amazing people, including the likes of
silverfox5213,
rygarofthewind,
naix-iq and Randae (There's so many others but I think my icon limit is about to breach on my journal... But you all know who you are XD). I did an improvised concert, sampled some proper Asian food, visited Sentosa resort, got the grand tour of the small yet amazing and cultural country. Thank you guys, SO SO much, for making me feel so welcome and I will hopefully see you all next year! Go out and visit this small yet hugely inspiring place, you will thank me for it x)
For the next week or so I will be writing out more personalized thank you letters emails, I will be catching up on all my notes on here and my emails and messages elsewhere. If you messaged me, please give me some time to respond over the next few days <3 After ten days or so, I will be heading over to Denmark to spend time with a dear friend, which I am really looking forward to. :]
Thank you again... New music is on the way, I will also be (fairly soon) announcing plans for a brand new album. It will involve a fund raiser... With the potential of creating something that puts everything I have done in the past... To shame. I am *uber* excited to tell you guys about it... But soon, I promise. This will be leagues above anything I have tried before.
Best wishes,
Fox Amoore. <3

- Eurofurence 19 official Pawpet show soundtrack! -
Posted 12 years agoHeya folks :]
First of all, I want to thank
nachtfuchs
tanidareal
eosfoxx
jaryic
cheetah-spottycat
coyotesnack
sheppy87
theKamikaze and everyone else I had the wonderful chance to visit and spend time with whilst over in Germany! So many awesome and memorable things happened... Everything from suiting to um... exotic flavoured Jelly Bellies 8D
I've kept this mostly quiet as first I wanted to make this trip and see if it was possible, but also to measure the scope of work required. After having made the trip, spending time with Cheetah and see how the production is done...
I am very happy to announce that I will be doing an official full-length soundtrack for the Eurofurence 19 Pawpet show!
It will include songs with lyrics as well as instrumental soundtracks for key scenes in the show along with a lead guest vocalist that will be revealed soon. The soundtrack will be available as a limited edition CD after the show. Depending on the amount made and how well it's received, I cannot fully guarantee it will be available after EF, but it is possible. This will be a great undertaking and honour, so the work will be intense for me... But I feel it could work out to be something truly special and unique. I will give more updates as the production progresses, I have already arranged another trip to Germany in July to attend one of the rehearsals :]
And now just 9 days before I head out for my first convention of the year... Furdu in Australia. This year just gets more and more interesting!

Starting with the first collaboration called "Myre", both Fox Amoore and AlectorFencer entered a new area of collaborative works and inspired each other by their visual and muscial ideas and released many more projects together. Become a part of that journey.
Something even more special about this collaboration auction is the increase of a percentage that will go to Charity!
(If the auction amount goes up significantly high, we may further increase the charity percentage!)
The charity amount will go to the National Fox Welfare Society "NFWS" and helps foxes and other forest animals in the UK to survive and to get back on their feet. Their website: www.nfws.org.uk

- The Spirit of the Wolf (Old pre Fox Amoore album!) -
Posted 12 years ago"The Spirit of the Wolf". *Limited Supply*, announcing this on my FA account as well :]
Get your limited numbered and signed copy here
Now here's an interesting one, and an OLD one. In-fact I started writing this when I was still in High School. I should have been studying for things like Physics and Chemistry but instead I found myself always writing music. This was first started when I was *gasp* 17 years old, and it's amazing to hear the difference in quality as I've learned and progressed over the years. This was all done on a single keyboard, playing and recording my parts and all the ideas that came into my head at the time. For some strange reason I never publically released this album, perhaps because I didn't feel it was part of the "Fox Amoore" thing that I started up somewhat after it's completion. Yep, it goes far back enough that I am using my proper name as the artist!
*Please bear in mind this is an OLD album, so the quality in sound is completely different to what most of you will be used to :] this is more a retro concept album, but one I feel that should perhaps be shared rather than just sit and gather dust.
As for the features, here we go:
- 9 tracks (Featuring "Scene 4: Midnight - my longest *ever* track, 12:00!)
- Full quality CD artwork and covers, front and back, including my "baby" face when I was younger!
The artwork is by Colin Hamilton, be sure to check out his site here: www.cjhonline.co.uk
- Each CD will be guaranteed signed and numbered 1-100 (first come first serve numerical order).
- Delivers world wide.

Posted 13 years agoKeeping it short... EF was a blast.
Thank you to all the staff, everyone that came to visit me in the dealers den, and generally everyone for making this EF so amazingly special.
- The concert with myself, Alexander and Peter Beagle alone raised over €2,000 for Far from Fear.
- My keytar got it's first live concert at EF!
- I got cramp in my fingers from playing Piano so much lol (which is rare!)
- Had breakfast with Peter Beagle (an amazingly inspiring kind man), Uncle Kage and Alexander Adams.
- Legends of Valanor sold out.
- The Ballad of Midnight went down very well.
- I met 2Gryphon for the first time and made an amazing new friend.
Big plans for EF next year!
Current next stop... Megaplex 2013 in July!
Let's chat, I'm taking it easy today... How did everyone else enjoy Eurofurence?

- The Ballad of Midnight 5th Anniversary and Eurofurence! -
Posted 13 years agoHeya folks! Less than a week now until Eurofurence, really excited about it, especially since I have a sort of band tour in Liverpool straight before I head over. If I look like a zombie there then you'll all know why. I never get sleep on these tours!
If you're not going to be at Eurofurence and you want to get a copy of the new Ballad of Midnight on CD, you can Pre-Order here and get a 10% pre-order discount.
If you prefer digital download you can do the exact same and Pre-Order your copy here. With digital download on the day of official release (14th Sep), you will get an email notification of a download link.
The first batch of the albums arrived today and I am ultra pleased with the quality of it. You can check out a little picture I took earlier of it right here.
Onto Eurofurence.
I will be heading off tomorrow for a few band gigs in Liverpool, then I fly straight out to Germany. I will be doing a number of things this year including the following:
- Charity concert with the GOH Peter Beagle and Alexander James Adams. (You will be able to purchase tickets at the con itself.)
- Band show. I will have a special guest spot during the band performance that has been organized by Cheetah. I *might* have my new keytar with me, so be sure to come along!
- My music will be featured in a short film by EZwolf before the dance contest. I have also done all the music for EF Prime News this year.
- I will be in the dealers den with all my in stock albums including: The Ballad of Midnight (5th year edition), Legends of Valanor, Feel, Masked and my collab CD Colson, Fire Killer.
- I will be involved in the Art Show with a few collabs. Alector Fencer: Whenever I Read (Painting+Single unique signed CD), A limited Edition print with Kaji, Legends of Valanor, and finally a signed limited edition print of "The Ballad of Midnight" with TaniDaReal.
There's probably other things I've forgotten about, but apart from those, I will likely be walking around or drinking (or both!)
To all those going to EF... See you there, it's going to be a total blast!

Posted 13 years agoHeya folks! Just a quick thingie-ma-jig.
A few have been asking about the "Fire Killer" album myself and
colson had available at CF 2012.
The remaining copies are now on sale here. Paypal payment and international delivery all included. It's a limited edition, meaning there won't be any more put into production, so if you want one to add to your collection and weren't able to get one when it was at CF, now ya can!

- Confuzzled 2012 Report -
Posted 13 years agoTo be honest, i'm not even sure where to start. So many things happened there, I apologize in advance if I miss someone or something out, Overall, It was an amazing experience, meeting and making so many awesome friends, talented artists and such dedicated and passionate staff. I felt so welcome and honestly didn't want to leave. Thank you Confuzzled for a wonderful time :]
One of the biggest highlights was doing the concert with Colson. It was really quite cool considering we'd never met until a few days before, had a couple of jams, then BAM, it happens. We did things like Someone Like You, Still Alive (With Neo coming up to do the dance routine - which was awesome), Somebody I used to know and One Angry Dwarf (With crazy rock piano in it!). Thanks to everyone that came and cheered and sang along, it was awesome! With Colson falling ill mid-way through the convention I was asked to fill in for a couple of things, one was which the sponsors concert and meal. It was so much fun playing pieces on the Piano with everyone singing and joining in. I also got drafted in for the dance competition as a judge. Some of the dancing was just amazing, especially for being in a fursuit, theres no way on earth I could ever have that kinda skill when it comes to dancing x)
I picked up a minor injury (glass doesn't seem to like me) and I ended up with a bandage on my wrist for most of the convention. Luckily it didn't impede my Piano playing nor was it even painful. What *was* awesome though was having Uncle Kage, Tani, Alector and loads of other people sign the bandage. I still have it here somewhere as well :P
The dealers den went very well. This time I took far more albums so I wouldn't sell out like at EF. I have White-Dragon to thank for taking my stuff down for me (including my keyboard), many thanks dude! Legends of Valanor almost sold out completely, as did Feel. I apologize for not being in the dealers den more on the Sunday, however I had to fill in for a few events. Alector though was very kind (and Wolfer ;3), to sit at my table and take some sales.
I want to say a big thank you to Rizzo for hosting a party at his house the night before the convention. I felt at home and have definitely made an amazing new friend. A big thank you also to AlectorFencer for keeping me company, helping me with everything and also being such FUN.
There's really way too many people to thank, give shouts to, just... thank you everyone, for such an unforgettable experience. :]
To those that want to keep in touch, poke me on skype! ( fox.amoore )

Tanidareal and Nightfox's wedding report!
Posted 13 years agoYesterday I returned from Germany which was to attend
tanidareal's and
nachtfuchs's wedding. What an awesome party it was!
So many people attended in fancy dress for the medieval theme, myself wearing an old traditional Scottish top and coat (which sometimes is still used today here for traditional weddings), though there were monks, knights, royalty and so much more. The hotel we stayed in also had that same theme (and I swear the room myself and my friend
cocowolf shared was haunted...). The corridors adorned with old traditional paintings, decorations and just downright scary at night in the dark lol.
The ceremony was a great deal of fun, I won't give too much away as an official video with pictures will likely be released. The weather was unbelievable... It topped 27 celcius in that area in Germany that day people were saying, it was roasting. Of course, the free bar helped make sure people didn't go thirsty :P
Myself and
pinkyfox wrote a song for Tani and Nightfox which we're going to try and get properly recorded and released for people to listen to. On that topic, thanks to everyone that came in and listened and also sung along with a few other songs whilst I was mucking around on the keyboard!)
I wanna *really* thank
cocowolf for picking me up at the airport, making me feel very welcome in his home, showing me around Germany and also being such an awesome bro.
Finally, go and say congrats to the now happy married couple,
tanidareal and
nachtfuchs!
I'm currently catching up with notes and moving swiftly to finish up Legends of Valanor, so if you sent me a message, i'll respond asap!
All the very best,
Fox Amoore.

Extended Discount on Feel + Updates
Posted 14 years agoHeya!
First I want to say thanks to everyone's support with the release of the digital download edition of Feel, it's been a great success. I'm going to keep it at it's discounted price until the end of October, so if you're thinking of getting it, it gives you more time. 18 tracks including the bonus tracks, HiRes artwork found only on the album by
balaa and
alectorfencer. (Also some of the concepts of The Secret World by Alector too!)
I've got a new album in mind, but it's something a little bit different, a clash/battle of two very different styles, and i'm planning on having this ready for the Summer to feature at Scotiacon and Eurofurence, possibly an American con as well, but nothing confirmed on that as of yet. It'll feature both as a CD and a Digital Download.
I've got a couple of new projects with
peritian on the way as well, and some work with a very very talented singer.
Thanks again and roll on Halloween :]

Eurofurence 17 Report
Posted 14 years agoWow... where do I begin? x)
Well first, I'd like to thank all the staff for creating such an amazing convention experience. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming that I honestly didn't want to leave. Thanks especially to Cheetah and Nightfox for chairing such an awesome convention, Codewolf and many others for security... and well, everyone!
I got to spend a few days in Berlin with
alectorfencer and
kebi whom I cannot thank enough for putting up with me and giving me a place to stay. Berlin is quite a beautiful and colourful city and I really want to visit there again.
Some of the key highlights for me were:
- The Bitter Lake movie premiere. It was actually one of the most nervewracking experiences for me, even more than some of the concerts I've done... so much was expected, and I'm so glad people enjoyed it... and I'll never forget the tears in Shays eyes when everyone stood up and clapped. It was, and is, a real pleasure to be a part of the team.
- Meeting some people that I've wanted to meet for a long time; people like
nimrais and
kaji, the Bitter Lake crew,
osfer
balorkin,
yuuki-cat &
katerchen and so many more.
- Seeing a thunderstorm that puts Scotland's thunderstorms to shame. (I have this weird fascination with thunderstorms x3).
- Getting to play the Piano in the Piano Bar, where everyone started to crowd around, including the Guest of Honour and his wife. Singing and playing various songs. That was so much FUN!
- Selling out completely of albums, including the Bitter Lake Soundtrack. I really cannot thank you guys enough for such amazing support.
So many other things as well but I'll end up rambling. I'll just finish up by saying thank you once again for an amazing experience. I'll be there next year, and if you've never been to EF before... make the effort, I promise you it'll be worth it... every second of it.

ScotiaCon - My first convention experience
Posted 14 years agoGosh wow... Well where to begin. To sum it up on the first line, it was beyond amazing. The convention was a big success. Guys, you really have to try and go next year, it's an utter blast! First though, thanks very much to
smirnoff,
blackwolfie and all the rest of the staff for working so hard and making it possible. Thanks also to the Ramada Jarvis and the staff there too, they were so friendly, accommodating and helpful, they even took part in some of the events!
Myself and
alectorfencer spent a couple of days before the convention chilling out in Newtonmore, a small village in the highlands. We took some amazing photos of the scenery, the wildlife and explored some of the trails. We even decided to climb up a small mountain randomly, but it was worth it, the views were inspiring. The people there too were so friendly; every single person we passed said hello, (even the Land Rover drivers!)
The journey to the convention itself, was one of the highlight features of it for me. We took the road straight through the highlands, mountains, lochs on either side, and stopped to take photos quite often XD. The road itself into Inverness was surprisingly easy as well, Inverness is also such a lively, friendly and party-hard city!
We both met up with the staff, had a couple of drinks (couple... I think x3), then headed to the opening ceremony. I was actually quite reserved and shy for the first day, because it was the first time I'd ever been to one. But as time went by, I felt so welcome, everyone was so kind, that by the end I really didn't want to leave... (And I felt for the first time what PCD was!)
I sold out of CD's at the dealers den,
alectorfencer sold loads of prints... and then there was the auction... A signed bottle of Famous Grouse Whisky, complete with all the signatures of the staff and guest of honours... AND a picture of the highest bidders character on the bottle, drawn by Alector, sold for £450. Alector also sold off one of her paintings for £310, and loads of other cool stuff sold as well.
I put on a sort of improvised show, played some keyboard, got singers up, had a jam with
wolferyiff and
greskil-vulfhart, and boy that was so much FUN. We played Hey Jude at the end of it and everyone was coming up to join in! The last night was pretty much party (though sadly I couldn't drink because I had to drive home that night - but it didn't stop me from moshing to Rammstein 8D).
So many awesome things happened that I couldn't put it all in a single journal. All I can say is that I'll definitely be back next year. Thanks again to everyone for such a memorable time. Thanks so much for the support, the fun and the love, I greatly appreciate it. Well done again all the staff and everyone that made Scotiacon a reality.
Be sure to give this convention a try folks, I promise you, it's worth it. Some big things are planned... and you're all very welcome to come and join us! Check out and follow
wallacesc for all the coming updates on next years one!
In other news, tonight I pretty much finished up the entire Bitter Lake soundtrack. *squee*

June Updates (Looking for Artists, New Songs etc)
Posted 15 years agoHi folks!
First I hope everyone has a good time at AC, I hope to be able to attend it sometime. I will however be appearing at a convention in the UK next year, I'll provide more details once i'm allowed to!
I'm currently looking for any artist(s) that would be interested in working with me to provide "official" images to my upcoming tracks. If you're interested please leave me a note,
New songs are on the way, "The Lake", "The Happy Song" and "Tale of a Werewolf" should be getting released over the coming couple of months.
For those that have character themes, story themes and other general commissions, I'll be working overtime to get them completed over the next couple of months (the World Cup amongst one or two other things have been a bit of a distraction).
Finally, if you want to catch up on some of my older work, as well as my newer stuff, I'm gradually uploading it all onto my FaceBook site. Regular updates will also feature on there.
That's everything for now,
Peace and Love,
Fox Amoore.

Special Piano Cover Commissions now Available
Posted 15 years agoHeya folks!
First a belated Happy New Year, how's things been going for everyone? (I had to get rescued twice from blizzards >.>)
I'm now ready to take on a new batch of Piano Cover Commissions. I've done this a couple of times before, a few have been asking for it again. Basically, for $15, I'll take a commercial or private song and present it to you played on one of my Pianos. It can either be for yourself, *or*, I can present it to a friend/mate/enemy, either by myself personally, or by you. I can only charge for my time, not for the rights to the song. So if you're wanting a valentines gift for someone, this might be an option to consider, I can deliver it on that day. It can be anything from Beethoven, to a Cocktail Piano rendition of NightWish!
In a similar fashion, Character Themes are also available and I'll make sure they're deliverd in time for Valentines day (the prices are different however, and are detailed below).
If anyone is interested, please note me rather than comment here, also with the song(s) in mind, AND also whom it's intended for, even if it's for yourself. There's no set limit currently until I get a better idea of what songs I'll be doing. All payments require a Paypal account.
Thanks for your time! Also, quick note about FA:09 (An upcoming digital album), I'm just waiting back for potential artists for the front cover, then that'll be ready to roll too.
Have a great week!
~Fox Amoore.

Thanks for your time! Also, quick note about FA:09 (An upcoming digital album), I'm just waiting back for potential artists for the front cover, then that'll be ready to roll too.
Have a great week!

Just a few updates!
Posted 15 years agoHeya!
Just a quick few updates, since it's been a month since I made my last journal. I'll mostly be out of contact until after Christmas whilst I perform keyboards for a band, so I'll take this chance to wish everyone very happy holidays, a great New Year and a great Winter break (or Summer if you stay below the equator!)
With the start of the New Year, a digital download only album will be getting released, it'll have well over 20 tracks, artwork and other hidden goodies, featuring a selection of songs from 2009 and also exclusive tracks only to that album. Expected price will be between $15-$20. More info will follow on that soon.
People whom ordered character theme commissions will be recieving updates more regularly come the next month also. Prices will also drop down slightly as the work load decreases.
Because of the success of Hallelujah (feat. Colson on vocals), we're planning our next colab. More info on that to follow nearer the time as well, but perhaps an early Spring (March) realease.
Couple of plugs for friends.
's new album "Postcards" is now released. You can check out more by visiting *Here*.
malcolmthebear album "Perspectives" is available for Pre-order. *check here* to listen to the samples and contact him for further info.
My documentary "That's Amoore" will be released in DVD form around the start of New Year also. Speaking of which
is coming up to Scotland to hang out and do a few filming and photo shoots of the band, so i'm looking forward to seeing ya again dude!
Finally! SNOW! It actually snowed in December here. (Usually it doesn't until the end of January.) *dances*
Thats all for now, more updates another time, more music is on the way!
Peace!
